Barry was thinking about his high school life, with Keith, who he became friends with, and Mark who was crush but was never able to confess to him. Omg.. I was awful back in high school, always questioning why I even became friends with Keith but he just wanted to be with Mark. He was awful, always asking about Mark even when he knew that I liked him. We used to be the best of friends, Keith, Mark, and I, and to be honest, I don't know why we're still not friends.

Barry heard the toilet flush. It has been an hour since Mark entered the bathroom. Although Mark had always been concerned for Barry, that was only in high school. Barry wasn't so sure now. Not knowing what Mark was up to, Barry left his room.

"Hey Barry?" Mark said with a questioning tone as to be referring to where Barry was or how the room was the way that it is. "Yes, Mark?" Barry replied, slowly walking down the hall and taking a sharp left which led straight to Mark.

    "What is this?" Mark, awestruck at the steel plated door which he found when exiting the moldy bedroom. As Mark explored, it was confusing to move around with the twist and turns. Everything in the house seemed like it was copied and pasted onto itself, over and over.

"Oh!" Barry accidentally shouted, running and blocking the hand that was trying to touch the handle. "It's nothing!" Barry said to Mark, trying to convince that there is no need to go into the basement.

What is he hiding? Is it some sort of machine? I mean I wouldn't be surprised, when Keith didn't find Barry, the lead scientist at work, it was usually because he hadn't left his house. Keith was talking to me about how Barry would be hours late, but he would stay working on another project till late at night. I just wonder if maybe I... Mark unconsciously started to lean forward, moving his hand to the handle of the door, while Barry wasn't watching.
