This is Dante-

He's an 18 year old boy and the boyfriend of Luz. (Who will also be 18 in this)

He's a relatively calm and laid back but cold person that's accepting of people's differences and quirks. Growing up was rather tough for him with neglectful parents, resulting in him using books and games as a form of escapism combined with just being out of the house a lot. Once his Sophomore year of High school ended, he was sent to live with his great uncle in Gravesfield, Connecticut where he met Luz. They had a rocky start at first with their contrasting personalities, but they grew closer as friends over time. He used to be a sort of big brother to him while she was his intrusive thoughts. He was also her protector from bullies due to her neurodivergent behavior (Calls her a crack baby) and eccentric interests. One day, Luz discovered his mutant abilities and he had a mental breakdown, assuming she'd call him a freak like everyone else in his life save one or two people. Much to his surprise, she completely fangirled about her "Danger buddy" having powers and made him feel better about himself. A month after that, they confessed to each other after Luz walked in on him taking a shower. Though she helped him change a bit, he still acts like a lawless delinquent. He also has an odd connection with animals, such as the time he got to pet a shark while swimming at the beach. While in this new world, Dante helps Luz learn magic every step of the way.

Dante wears a white white shirt under his black leather jacket, which is decorated with metal patches and punk-themed pins. He also wears black ripped jeans with white shoes.

He was used to having little to no friends due to his "weird" interests, which stemmed from his Mutant abilities:

Energy Absorption: Dante has the ability to absorb different forms of energy. He isn't limited to the types of energy he can absorb as he's been seen absorbing fire and electricity. This stored energy can be projected as blasts of lightning. He can also infuse it into machines and get a minimal level of control over them, at the cost of draining his reserves faster than normal. The stored energy can also be a substitute for eating and sleeping at the risk of it becoming an addiction and turning into a vicious cycle.

Matter Absorption and Mimicry: Dante's most used ability is the ability to absorb and mimic matter. He commonly infuses his body with dense solids to increase his strength and durability. He can absorb multiple kinds of materials and distribute them freely. The more material he can absorb, the more he can coat his body as he could coat his entire hand and forearm with just a quarter. Y/N has admitted he can absorb liquids and things like mud or bubblegum but prefers metal and solids due to rigidity and strength. That and it's fairly hard to keep his body together. He can even absorb rubber and become "kind of" stretchy. Dante can alter the shape of his body while absorbing material to create things such as axes, swords, sickles, cleats, hammers, shovels, keys, maces, spikes, and more. If injured, Dante can repair his body by absorbing material by "filling in the gaps" as he says. Absorbing a lot of matter allows him to change his size or even extend his arms. He can even encase people in the material he's absorbed, granting them a form of body armor if they need it. Something he's kept secret is that he can create more of an absorbed material due to obvious reasons. Unlike absorbing Energy or DNA, the drawback to absorbing matter is more simple and a matter of situation:
His body only becomes as strong and durable as the absorbed material
He needs a sufficient amount of material to coat his entire body
He gets the weaknesses of the materials he absorbs (i.e magnetic with metal and flammable with wood)

DNA Absorption: The second part of Absorb is the ability to absorb the DNA of living creatures. Through absorbing the DNA of individuals, he can use whatever powers they may have in addition to undergoing mutations if his body needs to accommodate the new power. Though these powers are only about ½ as strong as the original. Abilities from DNA dissipate either over time or through excessive use, requiring Dante to recharge occasionally. In addition to energy, absorbing too much DNA can drive Dante insane and even force his body to adopt a monstrous appearance. Dante can absorb the DNA of both animals and aliens, both giving him mutations and body alterations.

(He's basically a mixture of Kevin Levin and Extroyer with a hint of Absorbing man)

Facts about Dante
He collects animal bones. Mostly skulls, fangs, claws, horns, antlers, and shells but he also has a small collection of feathers

He collects rocks and gemstones

He likes machines and tinkers with vehicles a lot

Complete rock and metalhead. He listens to Sabaton, Metallica, Kiss, Manowar, Powerwolf, Megadeth, etc daily.

His favorite soda/pops are Faygo, Dr. Pepper, and Rootbeer

He loves dark humor. His best quote is "I'm racist, sexist, misogynistic, misandrist, fatphobic, transphobic, homophobic, heterophobic, biphobic, ableist, classist, fascist, anarchist, communist, everything under the fucking sun."

He's a total History buff (Where he gets most of his jokes from)

Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the best is a hill he's willing to die on. That and off-brand corn flakes because he loves those too

He keeps trinkets and baubles on his person like pins, rings, and pendants for his powers

He has a cousin who was in and out of jail. That cousin taught him to be a con artist

His favorite animals are Hawks (Air), Panthers (Land), Sharks (Air), Spiders and Ants (Bugs), and Dragons (Fantasy). Though he says the Capybara stomps with its vibes

He hates Swans and Dolphins because they're assholes

His favorite anime is Bleach and JJBA

He doesn't like religion but finds their mythologies interesting with Norse being his favorite

His favorite fruits are wild berries, bananas, and apples

His favorite colors are red, black, gold, and sometimes purple

He LOVES history and often makes little fantasy scenes with Luz incorporating history (Lots of Vikings and Spartans with Knights and Samurai on occasions.)
