Real Hunting
Years have passed now and me and Fang were beginning a relationship. Ready for an adventure, we bounded across the soft winter snow, sharing funny stories, laughing. It was such a great life. I wish. It was all the opposite. All he does is be serious about things and we probably didn't do one giggle. I took a long deep breath. What a boring life.
The chills raced across my spine. I was shivering while the frost built up my back. Outside of the den was so cold that every breath that came out of my snout, would have a little cloud built up. Every fur on me raised up until I heard footsteps. I kept my eyes shut. The figure sat down so close beside me that my fur came down. I slept comfortable around this soft, fluffy figure. All around my body became warm.
It was morning, I knew that because if the sun that hit my face and the warmth growing across my skin. My eyes slowly opened, even though I still wanted to rest. As I yawned, I stretched, struggling to get up. But something furry brushed across my fur. I look beside me and I see Fang sleeping quietly. He looks so cute when he sleeps, I thought. Then I see Fang take one small peek at me. I began to blush. His eyes widened and he quickly got up. "Um....we have training today, we are going to hunt." He walked out of the den without looking cold. I sighed and also walked out.
We both went to the hunting place called high trees. He lead me to a small forest and sat down. I gulped than sat down next to him. "So, your first mission is to bring me back two squirrels, a crow, and a hare for the pack. This might be a little challenging, so I will give you all day today, and I might be able to help you." He said without no emotional sign, but I think he was a little gentle at the last sentence. I gave him a small nod and leaped across the snow looking for prey, but a few seconds before I did, I thought I saw him smile.
