Dear Reader,

I want to thank you for following along Snowfeather's incredible journey, no matter what year you began reading this. This novel was written in 2012-2013 and grew massively successful, so I thank you for its continued success years later. This is now one of my most popular novels on Wattpad with over 100k views.

I apologize if this journey also led to heartbreak. I always feel a little guilty when I see a new user comment on Chapter 1 and go "So excited! Can't wait to see what happens" while I'm casually muttering, "Honey, you got a big storm coming."

I find it strange that this book began as a random idea that popped into my mind in my early middle school days. I remember having one big Warriors Cats fanfic brainstorm session and threw this in as a half-formed idea that might be fun to write. While many of my fics are heavily based off role-playing, this one actually originated from very little role-play. This novel in its entirety is based off a three month role-play that began when Snowfeather first joined MoonClan while everything else was pure creativity to fill in the gaps.

I want to formally apologize for killing off the kits! It was never meant for Pumpkinpaw, Frostedpaw, and Lightpaw to die in the end. They were supposed to be warriors and continue to grow Snowfeather and Lionstripe's family. Unfortunately, the user who owned FoxClan ended the clan, and when I tried to continue it, I received a large lecture from her, and because of copyright issues, I was forced to let it go. So, they are canonically dead unfortunately.

I'm please with how this novel has turned out, even if my 2013 writing style is a little outdated now. I enjoyed writing this book though, and am shocked how many of you enjoy it despite its depressing themes. The official Wattpad Fanfiction account even added it to one of their Reading Lists. That is the ultimate compliment to a writer!

No sequel! I get this question a lot, and sorry, it's not happening.

I also want to update this and let you know that I do not write Warriors Cats fanfic anymore. Thanks to those who supported me over the years from 2012 onward. You helped me gain traction on Wattpad, and I thank you for that. My Warriors fanfics are still up for those who want to read more Warriors fics beyond this novel, but please know I will not be writing any more Warriors novels, so please refrain from posting any comments of that nature.

If you are interested in reading some more recent works of mine, I've recently been taking to writing queer fiction and have unexpectedly been doing pretty well in that genre, so I recommend those novels as well.
