Although the last, this was the longest entry in the whole diary.

Dad didn't come back yet. But there are few policemen stationed outside our house. I guess they have been appointed for our protection.

Mom have been moving things around. She said that we should make it look like we are gone somewhere. She also said that we wouldn't be sleeping in our bedrooms today. Instead we would sleep in the room attached to the kitchen which we used as a pantry. This room didn't have any windows and maybe she selected it for some reason.

Mom told me that dad would come and take us soon. We had to pack and be ready for him when he arrives. I told her I had to take some necessaries from my room. So I am taking you and going back down. See you later.

I thought I wouldn't be writing anymore to you today. Mom told me to stay in this room and not to move for any reason. She has gone around to turn off all the lights in the house. I tried to ask her for explanations but she just told me there's nothing to worry and everything would be alright soon. It seemed that she was reassuring herself more than telling me.
I think she's coming back.

I don't know what time it is now. My mom just allowed to keep a flash light here. So I am writing in its light. I had fallen asleep but woke up when I heard noises. Dad was there with us in the room. He was telling mom that someone tipped him off about a traitor who gave the inside information to the criminals. So there was a change of plan. When I moved up to them, my dad told me that we would be travelling tomorrow. But we have to stay hidden in the house for the time-being. He said it was not safe to use phones. He also handed a small packet to mom and told her to hide it somewhere safe.

He told her that he would come back to take mom first and then get me out later. It seemed that he feared something. I have never seen him like this. He was always the courageous man that I adored. He locked us inside and sneaked out of the house.

I saw where mom hid the package. She told me to go to sleep but I couldn't. She let me keep the light on for some time. I guess I will turn it off now. It might go out of charge.

I am alone and waiting. Fear has been crawling up since mom and dad left. Dad had come in a hurry and took mom with him. He said that there was change in plan again. We all had to leave before daylight came in. He promised to be back in few minutes once he took her to safety. He had hidden a car somewhere on the outskirts. He would then take me. I asked him why couldn't he take us together. He said that would be a danger. He hasn't come back yet.

It's creepy here. It's has been long time but dad hasn't come back. They wouldn't have left me here. I am sure it's morning now. I can see light creeping below the door. I want to get out of this room. The key is with me. But what if dad came back and didn't find me here.

I am done waiting. I am going to get out of here.

Do you know what happened? I had got out the house when I heard distance rumbling. I thought it might be dad. But then the noise was different when it came closer. I realised it was the van. I ran as far as I could. I found out there was a graveyard beyond the trees. Now I am hiding here behind a tombstone while I'm writing this.

I fear something has happened to mom and dad. Those wicked men might be holding them. Did they come back for me? Did they realise that I was left in the house? Or did they come to get the package which dad told mom to hide? I took it out of mom's hiding place. I have it here with me in my backpack.

I think maybe dad and mom were able to escape them and would come back for me. Or they might sent someone. Only I have to be safe and hide from those wicked men. I don't know how long I will have to stay here. I don't know if I can go out without being caught by those men. They might be searching for me.

It's almost afternoon. I am feeling really hungry and thirsty too. I can't stay here alone especially at night. Mom and dad knows I am scared. Maybe they will come soon.

The sun has gone down. Soon the darkness will take over. I have hidden the package here near a tree. I guess I will leave you also here in my hiding place. I need to go back home and get some food. Then I will see if I can get help. After that I will come to get you back.

I hope I will be safe. I hope I will be able to come back to you. But I don't know. I can't promise you.
