Chapter 3 (short)

The thing about riding into Minneapolis, is the fact that there are so many strange discarded sights to see. Most have their IGear on and ignore the outside world. I don't though. The sight gives me a burst of- something. I don't know what, but Saturdays don't always turn out great for me. I usually end up washing dishes or being custodian for the Konichiwa Kids Korner snacktime.  Today feels different though. I stare at the crumbling highways in the distance with a smile. Others don't take pleasure in seeing the Old World. It means we have to learn. God forbid we have to learn. I look down at the street to look at the Hover-Hubs. Instead of seeing the soothing blue lights of the hubs, I see, a tall, lanky boy running. The bus turns before I can get a better look, but I could have sworn I'd seen him before.
