It had been 8 months since the dwarfs had adopted Andrew . He had started walking at 10 months , saying a few words by 11 months .

A true challenge for them all , but to everyone's surprise Grumpy was the most attentive with Andrew , even calling him shorty , " Soon I'll be calling you BeanStalk if you keep growing . " Grumpy said chuckling as Andrew was playing with a wooden dog .

Ever since Andrew came into their lives , The dwarfs had to change a few things and baby proof the cottage after Andrew ate one of Doc's smaller invention and passed it 2 days later. Along with eating almost anything when he could . It was truly a mystery if things went missing until Andrew's diaper had to be changed.

Hearing a loud crash outside and Happy screaming , Grumpy left Andrew in the living room . Andrew saw a shiny looking object on the living room table . He waddled over and picked it up before placing the object in his mouth . Suddenly it gets lodged in his throat and the young boy began to choke . Bashful was upstairs when he heard Andrew struggling to breath . Rushing downstairs he saw andrew turning blue and about to pass out.

Acting quick , Bashful managed to get the object out of Andrew's throat. After making sure the little boy was ok , Bashful picked up what Andrew was choking on , it turned out to be an acorn which was strangely gold .

Grumpy came back inside and asked what happened as he saw Andrew crying and clinging to Bashful. " He was choking on this acorn " Bashful repeiled showing Grumpy the acorn . Which confused Grumpy since they never had any gold acorns . Each dwarf deined buying a gold acorn , the only conclusion was one of the squirrels that Dopey brought home .

2 weeks later ,

Andrew was sleeping in his crib , when a thunderstorm outside woke him up from his slumber , the poor baby boy started to wail and cry loudly . Waking everyone including sleepy awake

Doc quickly got up . " It's ok andrew , it's ok ." He said in a hushed tone trying to comfort Andrew the best he could . But the thunder storm outside wasn't helping .

" What's got him upset this time ?" Grumpy asked in a tired voice before hearing the thunder " nevermind " he adds.

Doc took andrew downstairs and grabbed a book before sitting on the couch . " My pappy read this to me when I was your age. " Doc said as he began to read a fairytale .

Andrew calmed down and listened as Doc read to him . Soon enough Andrew fell asleep.

Everyone went back to sleep soon after , it was going to be hard but nothing would stop this unique family.
