Vines ARE Moods. I Dare You To Try And Tell The Author Otherwise

"I'm in a caterpillar rave mood myself," Leo comments.

"Every step you take I'll be watching you," Frank casually says.

Hazel is confused.

"I'm feeling very good kush at the moment," Annabeth adds.

Percy looks Annabeth dead in the eyes, and says,  "This is the dollar store. How good can it be?"

They stare at each other for a moment before bursting into hysterical laughter.

Meanwhile, the person is sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching in amusement.

"I'm in a hedgehog mood," Piper says. (*cue hedgehog running vine*)

"Hm, I'm in a nose-laser mood," Jason adds.

"You're always in a nose-laser mood," Piper complains.

Hazel is extremely confused.

"Lobster skateboard," Percy says, somehow keeping a straight face.

Leo looks at Hazel. "Hazel looks like she's in a 'how did you defeat captain america' mood."

"Or maybe 'april fools, I'll have an omlet'," Percy adds, looking at Hazel.

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Hazel asks (very loudly), clearly distressed.

Piper pats her back sympathetically. "Hi, I'm Piper McLean, and I'm your freestyle dance teacher." She starts dancing. She's not very good at dancing.

"Okay, maybe I'm in more of a 'I love my dead gay son' mood." Percy sighs.

Hazel looks like she's about to cry.

Frank looks thoughtful. "Can I have my bow?"

The person hands him his bow and an arrow. They then cause a target to appear on the wall across from Frank.

Frank puts his hands behind his back, and proceeds to shoot a bullseye with his feet.

Percy pats his back in congratulations.

Okay, Hazel may or may not have started crying by this point.

The person hands Hazel a snickers. "You're not you when you're hungry."

Hazel takes the snickers and eats it.

The rest of the seven start clapping.

I know I said I wouldn't update today but...

Fuck it-

GHOST CREDIT.

I'm gOnNA gEt A SubARu.

For children of Ares! Honestly, I don't want to describe them because I haven't read them in so long but... here we are. This is the story of a girl surviving in Budapest during World War II. And she was 15. I remember it being pretty interesting, so... I give you:

I Am Fifteen—and I Don't Want To Die

by Christine Arnothy

This next book was my favorite of the two. It's a mix or western and dystopian, and while that may not sound appealing, it sure as hell was a good book. It was really hard to put down. I think it took me around 7 hours to read (I was on a road trip) and honestly it was amazing. I'm a sucker for "infection" stories- also known as zombie apocalypses. This, though, this was something else. I related a lot with this book when I was reading it (now, looking back on it, it's harder to see why, but I still see what I saw in it). Also, unexpected romance! There was a strong build-up with the characters as it went on, and I honestly just expected them to be friends (though I was hoping for something more). The main character is headstrong, and I love the realization she comes to at the end of this book. I present to you:

Devils Unto Dust

by Emma Berquist

The desert is still, no sign of movement, not even dust. But it's a calm stillness, ancient and unchanging. The desert was here before us, and it will be here long after, watchful and patent and unmoved.

It's a novel (and I plan to reread it again one day). I loved it (definitely in my top 15 favorite books).

The book just gave off this... war-like vibe. It's dark, bloody and horrifying. I loved it.

The first book was good, too, of course.

What type of mood are you in?
