[ On the road, Surface | 5:23 PM ]

Chuck, Sans and you are currently driving towards the hospital Lucas is laying in. You really didn't look forward to seeing him again. Still, he was your friend and he took a bullet for you, but he also killed your sister.

Sans wraps an arm around you again and smiles at you.

When the three of you arrive at the hospital, a lady soon says the location of Lucas, and brings you there. When the door opens, you see Lucas on his laptop, topless and with a huge cast on his right arm and half of his torso.

He waves at you three with the other hand when he sees you. This is gonna be painfull as heck. You were still not dealing well with the death of your sister and now you have to talk to Lucas.

You sit in a chair next to Sans and Chuck and stare down.

 "You found out, didn't you?" Lucas suddenly said and looked sadly at you. You nod. I can not imagine how Sans is looking at Lucas right now. He already didn't trust him, and now this. "I can explain."

"Y-You don't have to. I know what happened. You are just like me. You got probably kidnapped by Akassa the same way I got with Hecton. Then you were forced to kill, just like me." You spoke in a cold tone. You didn't actually feel anything by saying these words. They were just words after all. "Well I know where you got your battle scar now at least." I say, now crying and smiling at him. He is crying as well and staring at you.

"I'm sorry you had to go trough that again. I shouldn't have not said anything about it for these four months." Lucas apologizes. "When I saw your name on the list with patients, I didn't even hesitate to take you as my patient. I insisted. I just wanted to do everything for you to apologize. I know I can't though." He said and took a deep breath. "I was mainly a hacker at Akassa. I had to go on missions as well though. I learned your name from my job as hacker and swore to myself that I would apologize to you someday."

What should I do now? He's a good man. He did kill my sister, but he was forced to do it, and even took a bullet for me. Who knows what would have happened if he didn't jump in front of me? "I forgive you." I say.

"W-What?" Lucas stammers.

"You heard me."

"But why?"

"Reasons." I say and look up at him and smile a bit.

A nurse comes into the room and notes visiting time is over. We say our goodbyes and wish Lucas luck. We were only walking back to the car when Sans asks me something. "Why did you forgive him?"

"Do you remember how fragile I was back in the underground? Do you remember my first days? I bet Toriel does. I cried for hours there. Tears of happiness. My dream was to just have parents again and live a normal life. Lucas now has what he wants. I want to give him that happiness." I explain and step into the car.

"Ya ain't goin' with Chuck this time." Sans says and gets a hold of my sleeve. I look at him questioningly. Then I look at Chuck, who wears the biggest smile on his face. "Have fun." Chuck says and drives off. Sans grabs your hand and teleports.

[ Snowdin, Underground | 5:32 PM ]

"Why are we here?" I immediately ask when I see Snowdin before me. Last time I was here, we were on the edge of a breakup.

"Reasons. Come with me." Sans says and holds your hand.  The two of you walk past Grillbys and smile. "Do you remember the time we were totally drunk there?" Sans said and grins at the restaurant. "Excuse me, you were totally drunk. I was sober and had to carry you all the way to your bed." You say and laugh. Sans laughs as well and you walk forward over the snowy path.

"I remember us walking on this path, hand in hand to the just opened hot dog stand." Sans said suddenly. "Or no wait, that was in another timeline." He grins. "You are always amazing. In every timeline." He says and walks furtherer, headed to the door of the ruins. You just blush and tightly hold his hand. "When I first met you, the very first timeline I mean, I quickly liked you. The second one too.. The point is, there hasn't been a timeline where you haven't been perfect. You are just you. I love you, so very much." He says with a hint of a blue tint on his face.

The two of you were now standing in front of the door to the door to the ruins. "Here, take my jacket for a sec." He says and hands his blue jacket over to you.

"I realized when you were gone, that I wanted to spent my whole life with you." He says and bends down on one knee. He takes a small box out of the pocket of his sweatpants. You lay your hands before your mouth. "Y'know what, screw the speech. What I wanted to ask was, do you wanna marry me?" He says and opens the box, in which is a silver ring with a yellow diamond in it.

"YES!"
