[ Hospital, Surface | 2:23 PM ]

You woke up in a plain white room, in a plain white bed, wearing, you guessed it, a plain white dress. You groaned a little at the headache you had and got up.

"HOLY SHIT AL SHE'S AWAKE!"

"N-Not so l-loud please. She could have a h-headache."

Again, deja-vu. You looked around for a bit, seeing a three monsters sitting by your bed.

"Where am I?" You questioned.

"YOU ARE AT THE HOSPITAL OF COURSE SILLY!" The tall skeleton shouted and smiled happily.

"DUDE YOU BLACKED OUT AND SLEPT LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!" The fish lady shouted as well.

You looked around. The same fish lady, lizard, tall skeleton and the short skeleton, who was talking to the doctor, where in your hospital room.

"So who are you guys?"

The fish lady was ready to introduce herself but got interrupted by the short skelleton, walking to your bed and smiling at you. "Doc confirms it. (Y/N)'s got amnesia."

"WHAT'S AMNESIA?" The tall skeleton asked.

"Amnesia is the loss of memory. For example, I think I got retrograde amnesia. That refers to inability to recall memories before onset of amnesia." You explained and smiled at the skeleton

The short skeleton chuckled. "You never change." he said and shook your hand. "The name's Sans."

The fish lady finally spoke. "I'm Undyne and this cutie lizard here is Alphys!" She said and hugged the lizard monster.

Cute. You thought and nodded.

"Hi." Alphys said shyly and waved.

"AND I, AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HEAD OF THE ROYAL GUARD AND YOUR 'BESTIE'" The tall skeleton said and shook your hand enthusiastically.

"So.. Papryus, Undyne, Alphys and Sans.. Right?" You repeated and quickly learned the names of the monsters.

"Yup. And I think there will be goat monsters and the kid visiting you soon." Sans said, constantly grinning. What's up with him?  You thought and shook it off.

"AS WELL AS MY GREAT BOYFRIEND METTATON!" Papyrus shouted. Sans groaned a bit.

"Ehr.. Guys? Visit time is over. (Y/N) will have to rest now." One of the doctors said.

The monsters nodded and stood up. They said their goodbyes and walked out of the room.

You made your pillow and lay down again. You were almost sleeping as you heard a soft knocking on the door.

"Come in!" You shouted, expecting it to be the goat monsters.

But instead, it was Sans  standing in the doorway.

"So uh.. You left yourself a letter before you uh.. 'left' I guess." Sans said and walked to you.

"A letter?" You questioned.

"Yeah, here." Sans said and took a crumpled letter out of one of his pockets.  He gave it to you and stuck his hands in his pockets again. "Hey so I have to be going now, pap's waiting for me. See you soon." He said and left again.

You looked at the envelope in awe. It was addressed to you. 'To (Y/N)'  it said. You decided to open the letter.

Hi (Y/N). Or well, should I say new (Y/N)? Nah I guess (Y/N) is fitting here.

So Hi I guess. (Y/N) from the past here to say some things.

Firstly, congratulations! Your plan worked and you aren't dead! (Well the (Y/N) who is writing this is, but hey!) Where I am I talking about? Ask Sans.

Secondly, You've probably met some people, well, monsters, to be exact. How did I know? I'm a mind reader, duh. Nope just kidding. I asked sans to give you this letter as soon as he saw you again.

Wow do I smell confusion here? Let me explain and give you some info on your past life.

You were the 6th (human) soul in the underground. You died of the lack of vitamin D, and boom, here you are again.

So you hadn't had any human friends, BUT, you have some monster friends: Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Toriel, Mettaton and Napstablook. Grillby too, but he's more like an acquaintance.

So if you have any more questions, ask Sans.

That's what the letter read. You put it down an laughed. Enough questions to ask then. You thought and yawned. Eventually, you drifted into a peaceful sleep.

[ Hospital, Surface | 5:32 PM ]

You opened your eyes and heard knocking on the door. How long had you slept? "Come in, I'm awake." You said, fixing your hair really quick.

In the door were the two goats from before, as well as the kid with brown hair, holding a flowerpot with a very annoyed flower in it.

"Well well well.." The flower smirked and said in an aggressive tone.

"My child!" The female goat said, tearing up and rushing towards you, to wrap you into a tight hug.

"Can't b-breathe."

The goat quickly let go off you and checked if you were all right. "Oh I am so sorry! I made pie!"

You smiled at the silly lady in front of you. The kid's face lighted up when she heard the word pie.

"I'm sorry, but can you please tell me your names?"

"Oh of course! Sans mentioned something about amnesia. Is it true?"

"I guess. I literally can't remember anything but my own name." you shrugged.

"I am so sorry for you. I hope you will get better soon. I am Toriel, caretaker of the rui- wait. No, never mind. I'm just Toriel now." Toriel said and smiled.

"And I am Asgore." The male goat stepped forward and shook your hand.

"And that is Frisk. They are mute." Toriel said and pointed to the kid. They waved and smiled. "And this little devil here is As- Flowey."

"Howdy! Out of all people, I didn't think I would see you again. Hee Hee~." The flower laughed. "But hey, I have had a change of heart, mainly because of Frisk, so do you want to be friends with me again? Now for real?" He asked.

"Sure I guess." You responded and shook one of his leafs.

Toriel gave a plate of pie to you. It smelled so familiar! You grabbed your fork and tasted it.

"Do you remember anything my child?"

You were still weirded out by her calling you her child though, but you decided to think nothing of it. "Nothing."

Their once hopeful faces were turned into normal faces again. You saw Frisk signing something to Toriel. She nodded and grabbed her purple bag and began search in it. "Ah! Here." The female goat handed you a small box. "All the monsters wanted to give you a present, so we brought a cell phone for you!"

"Thanks! But you shouldn't have." You said flattered.

"Oh we insisted! All your friends' numbers are already in it."

"How can I ever thank you for this?"

Frisk signed something to Asgore and Toriel which made them laugh. You stared at them in confusion. "Frisk wants to eat more of Tori's pie with you." Asgore said and laughed.

"Do not 'Tori' me Asgore." Tori said and glared. Frisk and you giggled. "Oh look at the time. We will have to go now. Just 'message' me with your new cell phone if you need anything." Toriel smiled, as well as Asgore and Flowey.

Checking out your new mobile, you went straight to 'contacts' and snorted. All your friends apparently had filled in their own 'unique' nicknames. The list was as followed:

You laughed at the list. Probably way too loud, because one of the doctors came storming into the room.

"Is everything all right?" The man said with a concerned face. He had curly, brown hair with a pair of round glasses which were poorly balancing on his nose. He was wearing a lab coat with a pair of ripped blue jeans and blue converse.

"Yes of course!" You responded and laughed.

"Oh well that's all right then. I'm Lucas." The doctor said and shook your hand.

"(Y/N)." You simply responded and smiled.

"I'll be somewhere on this floor if you need me." Lucas said and left.

Finally, some silence. Not for long though, because after a few seconds Lucas had left, the door got kicked in. A pink robot with a balloon in his hand, and a ghost stood in the doorway.

"OOH DARLING!~ the robot shouted and posed dramatically in the doorway.

"Hi? Oh hey, wait you two must be.." You scrolled trough your contacts. "Mettaton and Blooky?"

"That's absolutely 100 percent true darling!"

You clicked on the robot's profile. He hadn't had included a number. "Hey uh.. you didn't include a number or anything.. Can I have it?" You asked the robot.

"Oh wow darling! Slow down! You've got a boy friend you know.~"

"A boyfriend?" You asked in disbelief.

"Mettaton... You weren't supposed to say that." The ghost whined.

"Whoopsie." Mettaton laughed and posed again.

Lucas came storming into the room and made an 'eeep' sound. His face went from normal to happy in less than a second. "Oh my god." He gasped.

"Oh god here we go again.." the ghost muttered.

"A-Are you two..? Oh my god oh my god." Lucas said and was extremely excited for some reason. "Y-You two are.. You two are Napstablook and Mettaton!"

"Oh no..."

"Indeed we are!" Mettaton said and kissed the hand of Lucas.

Lucas blushed and smiled. "C-Can I take a picture r-really quick?" He stuttered.

"Why of course dear!"

Lucas smiled and took a photo with the two monsters. "T-Thank you s-so much!"

"No problem darling! But I'm afraid we must be off by now." The robot said and posed again.

"Oh no..." Napstablook said and disappeared in thin air.

"Goodbye (Y/N)!" Mettaton said and gave you a paper with his number on it. He ran out the hospital room dramatically.

"Yeah bye." You said and waved.

"Oh my god." Lucas said and sat on your bed. He looked at his phone and smiled. "Oh my god (Y/N) you're friends with the Mettaton and Napstablook!?" He said in disbelief.

"Uh.. Yeah? I suppose."

"Holy shit that's awesome. I'm like their biggest fan! I've got a Mettaton background and an Napstablook lock screen, as well as all the merch and oh my god I can't." He rambled.

You laughed. "Are they famous or something? " You asked, completely clueless.

"Famous? Dude they are like super famous all over the world! They make music and it's great. And wow. I just met them. This is the best day of my life."
