5th grade year. The time between being fresh meat in middle School and being the Kings and Queens of Elementary.

I was apart of this after school program after school. You stay after school because your parents couldn't pick you up and doing your homework. Although I already had my homework done. I hated after school program so I decided to go for a walk outside and sure enough my friend Jesse was outside. Sitting under a tree waiting for something. I walked to the tree and sat next to him. He is my best friend so it wasn't hard to talk to him. You talk about the strangest things and everything and nothing all in one. After a while I got a text.

'Hey I just past u and Jesse. U look like a couple under that tree.' I laughed at the text from Jeffrey.

"Jeffrey past by he said we look just like a couple under the tree." Jesse and I just laughed.

From behind the tree I could hear a teacher calling. "Madison! Come inside!" I rolled my eyes and thought about what Jeffrey said. In the heat of the moment I kissed Jesse. I ran. I ran back inside and didn't look back.
