Family

The young boy looked frantically trying to figure out what was going on. Lights started to flicker, sirens going off with red and blue lights shining through the window. His mother clutching him to her chest as he whimpered softly. Both scared and worried for their lives only to know what consequences were to follow.

Blood drawn to the floor, scratch marks lingered all around the room, cries of pain moaned all through the small space.  Breathing heavily the boy asked his mother, "What's going on mommy? Why is uncle mad?" he queried.

His mother looked into his emerald green eyes as they flash from red to green. Concern filling her tears as she brushed them away from her face. "I don't know son. I really don't know" She answered.

"Why did he hurt daddy?"

"I don't know, Lloyd"

"Why don't you know-"

His mother clasp her hand onto his small mouth and placed her index finger one her lips shushing him in the process. She glanced over at the locked door from their little hiding spot in the corner behind the dresser. She placed the little boy down on the floor and walked over to the door.

The little boy wanted to follow, but his mother halted him from doing so giving him her worried momma stares. He made his way back over to the corner as she watched in the little hole what his mother was doing.

She placed her hand on the knob and unlocked the door. The woman opened in slightly before a blood curling scream took over the loud sirens.

"MOMMY!!!"

Lloyd stared deep into the old man's eyes determined to find something within them, but all he could see were confused. His eyes were a dark shade of green with a hint of brown within the corner of his pupil. The blonde was overwhelmed with emotions, he doesn't know what to feel sad, happy, angry? All he knew were that someone in his life came back.

"Uncle Wu?" The young ninja asked the elder.

With sympathy the man smiled, "Why nephew, what a surprise. I thought your mother was watching you?" He said.

Lloyd sighed, "That's we she told you?" He murmured to himself questioning the thought of his mother popping up into the conversation.

Kai shook his head, "Listen old man, what are you doing here in our cell. Are you going to put us out of our misery or what?" He questioned harshly.

Wu could see the hurt and betrayal in all of the young ninja's eyes. Their hearts speak louder than their words he presumed. This wasn't the first batch he's seen and they definitely won't be the last. "My name is Wu, guardian of Underworld. I came here to warn you of what's to come" He foretold them.

"The Underworld? I thought it was ruled by the Creator?" Zane asked still trying to recover from his beating.

The old man sighed, "Well it is, I'm just here to make sure he doesn't go out of rage with himself. Why do you think he didn't come straight after you once you've broken a rule?" He teased with a bright smile.

Cole was dumbfounded, "The Creator is a man?"

Wu nodded as if it was so obvious that it was a man. He has known him for more then a thousand years or so. "Wait, so you've seen his face? What does he look like?" Zane asked excitedly.

The bearded man shook his head, "Young ninja it's been years since I've seen his face, but all I can say is that he's a strong man that will not take no for an answer. And that he will succeed in destroying all of you" He said.

"So you're basically giving us false hope? Not even a way out of here? Just telling us that none of us are going to live?" Cole inquired.

Lloyd bowed his head in defeat not knowing what to say. Could he even trust his own uncle? Why would he come in their cell just to tell them that they will all die in the Creator's wrath. Does the old man really not care about his nephew that he watched over for years before his disappearance.

"Not quite. I'm giving you the key out of this cell and to find your friends and get out of here as fast as you can. It is my mistake after all, please" Wu offered taking a key out of his white and gold robes and handing it to his nephew, "This might just be your only chance at escaping."

The Master of Energy glance at the keys structure, copper with stains of a dark green when in water. He looked back at his uncle and quickly grabbed the key from his hand. Wu smiled, "Now wait five minutes after I leave and then you can make your escape. I shall prepare a meeting for the guards that way you have no casualties. Understood?"

The four nodded in agreeance before Kai questioned the guardian, "Where are our two friends located anyways? We barely know a thing about this place?"

"They're in the throne room about three rights and a left from when you exit the prison. I must go now. Please be safe pupils" He went back over to the door and took off leaving the ninja's waiting for their escape.

Meanwhile with the former lovers, still chained to their chairs was tears. Silent tears spilling form the Master of Waters pale complexion onto the cold, hard, ground. The one thing she has tried to avoid was this. Her son was in danger and she couldn't do anything to stop it.

The Master of Lightning however kept a stern face, knowing that deep in his heart he wanted to collapse on the floor and destroy himself just to keep the one thing safe. His son. His son that he had no idea that he even existed.

He glanced over at his former love to see her breaking down, similar to when he found her in the bathroom that day when he left her. How could he have been so stupid? Leaving his girlfriend on the floor crying, and questioning what to do about their child. He told her to kill it. She chose to give it life. Their lives were just a hot mess.

"Nya, look-"

"Don't even, Walker. Because of you and our stupid action that night the Creator is going to kill our son, Jay. OUR SON. The one thing I've been trying to do this whole time was to keep him safe from this. I didn't want him to experience this life, I didn't want him to go through what we had. Is that so hard to ask for." She snapped at him with more hot tears flowing down her cheeks.

He sighed, "But we all knew that one day he was going to come looking for us. Even if it meant hurting our loved ones in the process" He told her.

"C.j is a baby, Jay. He can't even walk! Or talk! Ed and Edna can't even defend themselves, so how are they going to keep C.j safe?!? You told me they were reliable, Jay! How are they-"

"Shut up."

"Excuse me?"

"You know nothing."

"So do you."

Silence took over the room. Not a peep in sight. Nya closed her eyes tightly trying not to lash out anymore of her anger. She didn't want to lie to his face of what was going to happen. She really wanted to lie, but he has to know.

"Jay?"

"Yeah?"

"There's a reason why they're going after him. And it's not because of the rules." Nya informed him.

He looked back at her with glassy eyes just waiting to let a tear fall from it's grasp, "Then why is it after our son?"

"He believes that he has your elemental power" The raven revealed to him.

His eyes widen in surprise, but he still has his element? It would go away once a  child is born of his own blood. How could this be possible? "But I still have my powers-"

"I took them away from him" She blurted out.

"What!?!"

"He showed signs of having it so I went to a witch doctor and had her remove them and to transfer them back to you!" She yelled.

"Witch doctor? Which one!?!"

"I believe it was Mystake or something like that."

Jay knew that name all too well. Unfortunately it's not one that you would want to know very well. "Nya, you've just made a huge fatal mistake."
