Unknown P.O.V

"Check Mate." I say as I levitate my queen next to his king. I curled up and rested my head onto my tail. Will I ever find a worthy rival in anything? Then again, I should be careful with what I ask for, considering the short time until I regenerate.

"I'm sorry sir if I wasn't good enough to play against you." says my disgraceful servant, Herobrine. Of course he was the only one who knew of my whereabouts so he was the only intelligent being I could talk to, even if he was intelligent as a silver fish sometimes. He also defied against me once, so that wasn't a good thing for him on his account.

"Go away this instance!" I say cruelly back at him. He quickly scurried away, leaving not even a speck of dust behind him. Once I saw that he was gone, the useless thing, I turned my head around to stare at the presence I noticed long before our game had started.

"I know you're there, you may come out now." I say, showing off my white fangs that could of cut through diamond in a instance. The figure moved slowly towards me, a brown cape covering his face but I knew him well enough to know who he is.

" Well, well, well, look who it is, my dear friend Notch." I smiled, more like a grimace but close enough.

"I will never be friends with you, Ender Dragon or should I say E.D?" replied Notch with a cold and distant voice, like he was far away from here.

3rd Person P.O.V.

The two great figures stared at each other down until E.D. was too impatient to wait any longer, so he broke the quiet with one simple question.

"What are you doing here? You know that not even at my full strength you can't take me down." said E.D. with a look of pride. Back when he was known less like a legend and more like a fable, he was known for killing anyone on sight. That was, until the Pack came and ruined all of his fun. Now he had waited centuries to get revenge and go back to his own ways. Notch, on the other hand, was having none of that.

"I am here to warn you, for old times sake, that the Pack will be coming for you when the two worlds line up." says Notch, with a hint of nostalgia in his voice. E.D. was not always like this, he used to have a home, friends, and was very caring. Now, all he is, is just plain evil.

"Don't boss me around like you always did back in our youth!" snarled E.D., finally losing his temper. This was a world record for him, he lasted about thirty seconds instead of one. Herobrine was going to have a fun day with this.

Notch used to think he could help his old friend, but now he had given up. When E.D. spoke those hurtful words, all he did was shake his head in disappointment. If only that curse had never happened. But no matter how much Notch wished it to be false, every time he opened his eyes he faced harsh reality. Life is really hard even when you could control it sometimes.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Now I must be going, I have plans today. I hope you can see the light again one of these days my old friend." says Notch and in one second, he was gone, leaving the cursed human soul to lay in the dark abyss of his shadow.
