Lachlan's P.O.V.

Unlike everyone else, I wasn't surprised at the new presence of this girl named Gynger. After I finished the last sentence, I noticed another presence coming up behind us. I knew she wasn't a threat. Frankly, she was way too easy to read. Not her mind of course, I don't like doing that, but her body language.

"So, Gynger, what I can tell by your body language is that you were recruited by Anna, with other people of course" I say and than continue " By your reaction, I'm guessing I am correct, now I could read your mind but I don't like doing that, so can you please tell us who the other people are and why are you here?" I say, keeping myself calm. I might not like being around people, but I learned to talk smoothly to get myself out of a... situation... yeah let's say that.

" Well, your Lachlan right? Anyways, Lachlan, as you've guessed I have been recruited by Anna to help you guys when you go on the journey" she says, as her smile grows even bigger and she does a little spin.

"Now, about other people, so far we only have 2, one is name Kitten, she is even more energetic than me but I am probably more... geeky in a sense... she is more nerdy, the other person we don't know much about but that the person is a he and won't be joining us until we reach the other world as he is a native there." she says, taking a deep breath but keeping that smile on her face.

"More are going to be recruited, probably 3 or 4 more, I hope they are nice." she says, getting sidetracked. Jerome clears his throat.

"Oh yeah, sorry, but I am here to give you the tattoos and then I'm leaving, me and Kitten are going to be watching you guys from the control room, and probably the other recruits too." she said, doing another spin, this time noticing a pair of green neon and black headphones in her hoodie. When she faced us again, I could tell that by her eyes that there is something she isn't telling us. I decided to leave it be, as we need to get a move on.

"Okay, so let's get this over with." says Jerome. We all nodded our heads in agreement. Gynger nodded, produced a bag from out of nowhere, and waved us over. Walking through the long grass and flowers, we reached a small waterfall. I could barely see what was behind it but I could make it out enough that I could tell it was a cave of some sorts.

"Okay, I need you guys to go in there one by one so you don't distract me." says Gynger "Who wants to go first?"

"I guess I will." says Mitch after nobody volunteered. I would of, but I already got my powers, so I was clear.

"Okay come with me." says Gynger. Mitch followed, looked back at us, giving us a thumbs up, and then turned back around, vanishing behind the waterfall...
