Alright, it's time to switch things up a bit! Figured it was a good time to check in on how our other teams are doing in the worlds that they went to. Next up, we're checking in on team Naofumi who went to world 2. Now, i'm sure most of you can figure out what world it is based on the gif above. And, I've decided on what arc we'll be doing for this teams journey. Now, as for Ayu's team, when we return to them, some time will have passed which i'll explain when we get back to them. But, let's turn our attention to Neela, Naofumi, and the rest of their team for the time being. We'll be starting off when they go through their portal. Enjoy!

-POV: Naofumi-

We thought the demon threat had ended. Little did we know that we merely scratched the tip pf the iceberg of this issue. They'd opened three portals to different worlds, and all heroes and their parties had split up into three groups of 7 to travel to these worlds and find warriors who can help us face the ensuing darkness. 

And, just my luck, I get stuck with Motoyasu. But, at least he doesn't have Bitch with him this time since she got stuck going to world 3. Meanwhile, we're going to world 2. Only Rishia from my party is accompanying me, but, in return we also have Neela, Eshilda from Itsuki's party and both Lorena and Bren from Ren's party. It was a decent squad, saying the very least. 

All of us had gathered together before the portal we'd be taking to our designated world. It was honestly intimidating, but, we couldn't back down from this. If we fail now, then we lose. We'd have failed everyone and all who we know will die. 

"So..... anyone wanna run away while they still can?" Motoyasu asked everyone as we all stood in front of our portal. We all turned and gave him a look like he was an idiot..... which he was. 

"Not the time, dumb ass. Alright, everyone! Here we go! Once we go through here, we begin our fight to finally end this demon threat once and for all! We're not just fighting for our world as well! We fight for all the ones that these demons have invaded! But we'll prevail! We'll return triumphant! Are you with me!?" I spoke as everyone raised their fists into the air and cheered. 

"Then let's go. To this new world." I said as we all stepped inside the portal. Immediately, it felt like we were falling, my feet couldn't touch anything below me. A bright flash of light enveloped our eyes and blinded us momentarily. But, as fast as it started, it quickly dissipated and we landed on something, firmly on our feet.

"Is it safe to open our eyes?" Rishia asked as I slowly opened mine. The first thing I saw was bright sunlight followed by clear blue sky. I could see a village in the distance with homes that looked similar to Melromarc's but maybe a tad more advanced. 

"We made it." I said as everyone looked at this world we come into. 

"Okay, I know we were supposed to come here to find people who will fight with us, but how exactly are we supposed to get back?" Eshilda asked. 

"Naofumi, look at this. I believe it is the answer to the question." Neela said as we turned and faced her. She was holding her left arm out bacn to where we came out of the portal. Her hand had disappeared until she pulled it back. 

"The portal's still there, it's just invisible. That's our key to returning. We just have to make sure we act quickly before the demon here returns." I told everyone as they gave me some nods.

"Alright then, where should we start?" Motoyasu asked as I pointed straight ahead. 

"To that village, obviously. We need to find out what kind of world this is first. It could be hostile for all we know. I'm sure we'll get answers if we roam around that village for a bit." I said as everyone seemed to agree. 

"Lead the way then, heroes." Lorena said to us as Motoyasu started walking ahead of me, just like a little kid. I just rolled my eyes and sighed, hoping his overwhelming pride wouldn't jeopardize this whole mission. I really hope everyone in the other worlds are having a better time than we are for their starts.

When we arrived in the village, it felt like we were in a ghost town. Not a person in sight, nor were any sounds being made. It gave me the creeps. 

"I feel something may be wrong in this village. This silence is quite ominous." Bren said as I gave him a nod. 

"For now, we should split up. Motoyasu, you take the East side of the village, and i'll take the West." I said as he gave me a stern nod. 

"Eshilda, Bren, Lorena, come with me. You don't mind if I take 3 with me, do you?" He asked me as I shook my head. 

"Not if you're leaving me these two." I said, looking at Neela and Rishia. 

"Fair enough. Alright, let's go. And keep your eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary." Motoyasu said to his side of the squad as we separated. 

"Do you really think it's wise splitting up in this unknown world? Shouldn't we stay together until we have a better grasp on what we're dealing with?" Neela asked me. 

"I'd like to, but if this place really is empty, then spreading out is our best option. Plus, it gets us out of here quicker and onto the next village." I explained. 

"This place is super scary, fweee....." Rishia whimpered. 

"Relax. I won't let anything harm you, okay? Just stay alert and let me know if you spot anyone or anything." I told her as she gave me a fearful nod. 

"Wait, look!" Neela said as she started pointing a bit Northwest of where we were walking. On the other side of the village was smoke rising up into the sky. And, near where it was coming from, a small explosion ignited and created even more smoke. 

"Guess this place isn't empty after all! Or Motoyasu's being an idiot once again! Come on, let's go check it out!" I said as we ran for the smoke to investigate. 

When we got to the scene, even more explosions had occurred. We started to see some of the villagers and they were in a panic, running away from whatever was causing these attacks. I stopped one of them to try and get some answers. 

"Hold on a sec, what the heck's going on here!?" I asked as man as I grabbed his arm. 

"A wizard suddenly showed up and started wrecking the place. Some other wizards from Fairy Tail showed up to stop him but they're getting pretty beat up! You should run too, kids!" The man said as I let go and he ran away. 

"Wizards, huh? That means they'll be magic based enemies. That shouldn't be too much of an issue, especially seeing as the one attacking uses explosion magic. Neela can use it too, so maybe she'll have something to counter it." I thought to myself as yet another explosion went off. But this time, it sent someone flying at us. It was a little girl. She had long dark blue hair in the style of two long pigtails. She was screaming from being struck but, luckily, she was coming right for us. 

"Hold on, I've got you!" I shouted as I held my arms out and caught her. She stopped screaming and looked into my eyes. 

"Oh wow, thank you, sir." She said to me as I put her on the ground. She stood up fine which meant she wasn't very injured. 

"I thank you for saving me, but I really must be going. My friends and I are busy facing a wizard and they really need my help right now. Bye!" The girl said as she turned to run back into the battle. But, I tried my best to stop her for just a moment. 

"Hey, wait!" I yelled as she stopped. 

"Just hold on a minute. You're just a little girl, how can you fight a wizard with magic like this?" I asked her. 

"Oh, don't worry. It's not the first time we've faced an enemy like this." She told us. 

"Then will you allow us to assist you?" Neela asked her. 

"Wait, what?" The little girl questioned, seeming surprised at what we were offering. 

"You see, we're wizards of some sorts too. And we've been in plenty of combat situations too. We know how to fight against tough opponents." I explained to her as she looked at all three of us and then gave us a nod. 

"Fine! Follow me! My guild mates are just over here, hurry!" The girl said as she ran down a street with us closely following. Now, we just had to hope these "guild mates" of hers were on our side and won't attack us. 

"Everyone, I found some help! These people are gonna fight with us!" The little girl said as we came into the village square. There was three other people, as well as, two cats, one blue and one white, in battle. One person had pink hair, a black and yellow jacket, grey pants, and a white scaly looking scarf around his neck. The next was a girl with blonde hair in the style of pigtails like the little girl, a pink and black outfit with a red skirt, and black shoes. And, the last person was also blonde. He had sharp looking teeth, come pointed ears like a wolves, a green vest, grey pants and some sharp looking claws on his hands. 

"Is it Damos and Tetsa!? Because we could really use their help right now!" The boy with pink hair asked. 

"Not exactly! I don't know where they are either, but these people say they're wizards too!" The little girl said as everyone looked over to us. 

"Who the hell are you people? Part of the Fairy Tail guild like these kids? Or some other guild?" The man with the sharp teeth asked us. 

"Neither. We're wizards from our own separate world. And, we're heroes too. Now, stand down or we'll be forced to harm you." I threatened him as he just started chuckling. 

"From your own world? And you're heroes? Man, I can't tell if you're being serious or if you're joking! Either way, it won't make a difference! I'll kill you all right here and now!" The man said as both his fist started glowing a bright yellow. 

"I don't think so. As source of thy power, I order thee! Decipher the laws of nature and rain down thunder and lightning on my enemies! Grand Bolt!" Neela shouted as she raised her staff up into the air. 

"Jeez, that was quite a mouthful. And it look like your little spell fai-" The man began to say as a thunderbolt shot down from the sky and struck him, sending him flying up against the side of a home. 

"You were saying?" Neela taunted him with a chuckle. 

"I don't think we'll be needing Damos or Tetsa anytime soon, Natsu." The blonde girl said to the pink boy. I assumed that Natsu was his name. 

"Why do you think that, Lucy?" Natsu asked her, revealing her name to us. 

"Uh, did you see what that cat-girl just did!? She just summoned thunder that's bigger than anything we've seen Laxus do!" Lucy said to him. 

"Was it? I don't know, it looked the same to me." Natsu said which gave me a perfect description of what kind of person he was. A hard head. 

"Wow, that spell was amazing! Do you have Dragon Slayer magic like me and Natsu?" The little girl asked as the white cat walked up to her and pulled on her pant leg. 

"Wendy, you shouldn't talk to strangers. What if these people are secretly working for the enemy?" The cat said which..... well, it was kinda weird. None of us were really expecting this cat to speak at all, and because of this, I now assumed the blue cat could talk too. 

"But then why would they attack Jackal like that?" Wendy asked her. 

"Aaaaaaahhhhh! You bitch! That hurt! I'm gonna gut you before I blow you to kingdom come!" Jackal said as he got back up and waved his arms around in the air, making it look like he was controlling the wind. 

"Take cover! Anything he touches he can blow up, and that includes wind!" Lucy shouted as I saw a stream of air rush towards Neela. 

"Air Strike Shield!" I shouted as I made my green floating shield appear in front of her and block the attack. Once the air touched my shield, it blew up and smashed my shield to pieces. But, Neela wasn't harmed by it thankfully. 

"Defensive type magic, eh? That's not gonna stop me! I just killed the entire magic council! You really think some random low level guild wizards can take on the might of a demon of Tartaros!?" Jackal declared. 

"Did he say "demon?"" I questioned as Natsu gave me a nod. 

"Yeah. Tartaros is a dark guild in this land. They consist of a handful of demons who, from what we know, are up to something that's gonna put the whole world at risk." He explained to me. 

"Well, it just so happens that we've had plenty of experience fighting demons in our own world. And, seeing what this one can do compared to the ones in our world, he's a pushover." I said as Jackal became enraged. 

"What did you just say!? Run that by me again, shield loser!" He shouted to me. 

"You heard me, you 5th rate demon. We've fought monsters and demons that are leagues above your skill level." I said as he started running for me. 

"I'm gonna murder you, bastard!" Jackal shouted as he reeled back his right arm and thrusted it at me. I raised my shield up and he struck it. The force of his punch was stronger than I thought it'd be as it sent me sliding backwards a few feet. But, I was able to stay standing on my feet. 

"Is that it?" I asked him with a chuckle. 

"You're such a dumb ass, you know that? My curses let anyone stupid enough to touch me turn into a living bomb. And, your shield is no exception. So, you're toast. Bye bye!" Jackal explained as a bright light started emanating from my shield. It was about to explode. 

"Hold on, I've got this!" Natsu shouted as he ran for me. 

"Die." Jackal said as my shield exploded, covering me in a dense smokescreen. But, the strange thing was, I didn't get hurt from the blast. I started to hear a strange sucking sound followed by a burping sound. And, when the smoke cleared, Natsu stood next to me with smoke coming out of his mouth.

"That was a close one. If I was a second too late, you would've been in pieces." He said to me as I was just super curious now. 

"Hold on..... did you just eat that explosion?" I asked him. 

"Natsu's a Fire Dragon Slayer. That means he can eat all types of fire and when he does, it recharges his magic power." The blue cat explained to us. 

"And I thought Naofumi and Ayuma were amazing. But that's just incredible." Rishia said. 

"I can do more than just eat fire! Check this out! Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu shouted as he faced Jackal and then unleashed a huge burst of flames right from his mouth. 

"Don't think that'll work on me again!" Jackal shouted as he dove to his left. There was a bridge nearby and below it was a river. He jumped into the water before he was struck by the flames and avoided the attack. 

"Rishia, keep him from moving! Neela, get ready to hit him with another lightning bolt!" I ordered them as they both nodded. 

"As source of thy power, I order thee! Summon a gust of wind that will entrap my target! Vast Whirling Tornado!" Rishia shouted as she held out both of her hand and shot out a tornado that circled around Jackal, trapping him in a wall of water and wind. 

"I've got some lightning too! Let's finish this, cat-girl!" Natsu said to Neela as they both charged up their attacks. 

"Grand Bolt! Lightning Fire Dragon's Firing Hammer!" They both shouted as Neela unleashed another huge thunderbolt from the sky, while Natsu blasted an enormous channel of flames and lightning from his right arm. They both struck Jackal simultaneously and the lightning mixed with the water he was standing in began to electrocute him. He roared in pain until they both stopped their attacks. Jackal now stood there, his whole body smoking. But, he was still standing up. 

"I'll admit..... that hurt..... a lot. Looks like it's time...... for me to get serious...... if I want to kill you all." Jackal said as his body suddenly started to grow larger. Golden hair was forming all over his body and so were the fangs in his mouth. He grew a bushy tail and his claws grew larger. He was now in the form of a werewolf. He let out a mighty howl as he leaped for Natsu. He grabbed his head with his large hands and shoved him right into a wall. 

"Let go of him!" Wendy shouted as she and Lucy prepared to attack him. Wendy started forming wind on her fists and Lucy took out what looked like a golden key from a pouch on her right side. 

"Get away from me!" Jackal shouted as he swiped his right claw around and struck them both, sending them flying over to me and Rishia. I caught Lucy and Rishia grabbed onto Wendy. 

"Don't worry. We can take care of him." I told them as we put them down. 

"Neela, this demon's powered up quite a bit, which means we'll have to as well. I think it's time we hit it with its own medicine." I said as I switched to my Curse Shield. 

"I understand. Just try not to hit Natsu." Neela said to me. 

"If he's able to eat fire, then I assume he isn't really affected by it naturally either. He'll be fine." I said to her as Neela started forming black flames from the end of her staff. 

"Now, hit me with everything you've got!" I shouted as she aimed her staff at me. 

"As source of thy power, I order thee! Decipher the laws of nature and burn down all foes with the flame of the black demon! Deathly Hades Geyser!" Neela shouted as she unleashed a massive torrent of black flames from her staff which struck my shield. She then jumped out of the way as my Curse Shield redirected the attack, increasing its power as it fired right back over to where Jackal was standing. 

"What the!?" He questioned as he was struck by the flames. He roared for a bit before he started to laugh. We saw him shove Natsu right through a wall before letting go and then jumping out of the flames. He leaped for me and grabbed my shield, pushing me along the ground and up against a pillar in the square. 

"Did you really think an attack like that could harm me!? I'm a demon and you just hit me with demonic flames! That just felt like a gust of wind to me! And now, you're gonna die because of your failure!" Jackal shouted as he reached his wold head closer to try and bite me. But, I leaned mine to the side to just dodge his bite. I then looked over to see Neela and Rishia trying to help Natsu get back to his feet, with both Lucy and Wendy looking exhausted from their fighting with Jackal before we arrived. I was on my own to get this demon away from me.

"So, demon's of this world aren't affected by demonic energy like the ones in our world. At least now we know that, so then we can figure out a different way to harm you!" I said as I tried to shove Jackal off of me. But, his strength was so massive that he wouldn't budge. 

"You're gonna be a nice snack before I kill that damn Dragon Slayer and his friends!" Jackal shouted as he let go of me with one of his arms and used it to grab onto my head. He kept it from moving and closed in with his head, mouth wide open to bite me. 

"No way! This is not how things are gonna end for me! I've come too far to end up as a snack for some oversized mutt!" I shouted as something then struck Jackal's back and exploded. He let out a whimpering roar as he turned his head to look behind him. But, the second he turned away, he was engulfed in a burst of silver flames that came from his left. He was sent flying off of me and he blew through a building which proceeded to collapse on him. 

"That was close. You alright?" Someone asked me as I turned to face them. Standing before me was a man, maybe around my age, with short dark brown hair, red eyes, a small bushy beard, with a brown vest and black shirt underneath, plus grey pants. 

"Yeah.... thanks." I said as he reached down and pulled me up to my feet. 

"Is he alright, Damos!?" Another person shouted. I looked over to see a girl standing on top of a rooftop with a huge purple and black bow in her hands. She had long light brown hair, blue eyes, a red jacket over a black shirt, and black pants. 

"He's good, Tetsa! Nice shot!" Damos said to her. 

"Damos and Tetsa? Your friends here said your names before. You must be guild mates with them, am I right?" I asked him as he gave me a nod. 

"That's right. And, it looks like we couldn't have gotten here at a better time. Guess it's a good thing we ran into these guys too." Damos said as he pointed behind him. I looked over his shoulder and saw Motoyasu and the rest of his squad. 

"You know, for once i'm kinda glad to see you here." I said to him as he shot me a smile. 

"Alright, let's take that demon down!" Motoyasu shouted as he and the rest of his squad ran for Jackal who had just risen back up to his feet. 

"Did any of our guild mates fill you in on the situation?" Damos asked me. 

"Yeah, Natsu did." I replied. 

"Good. I hate explaining things. But, that means we can just cut to the chase. We may need your help to defeat not just this demon, but a few more as well. Will you help us?" Damos asked me. He literally just asked me what we were sent here to do in the first place. So, perhaps this'll work out if we succeed in what he wants.

"Deal." I said as we shook hands. 

"Will they help us?" Tetsa asked as she ran over to us. 

"Yep. Now, let's take this bastard down, once and for all. He's killed to many people already. Let's see how he likes it when he's on the receiving end." Damos said as both he and Tetsa gave nods to each other. 

"I don't know what you can do to take this demon down. We literally hit it with everything we had, fire, lightning, even demonic energy, but it still wasn't enough." I told them. 

"Don't worry. The two of us make up the strongest team in Fairy Tail. We've got something he won't be able to stand against." Tetsa said as both of their bodies suddenly started to glow. Magic armor was appearing on them. Damos' looked like silver scales and it covered his entire body except for his head, and, he grew a small pair of wings out of his back in the process. Tetsa on the other hand now had on dark armor that looked like an evil princess' outfit, with it even having a dark tiara. 

"Second Origin release!" They both shouted as they interlocked their hands with each other, Damos' left, and Tetsa's right. They began pooling their magic energy into where they were touching and a ball of magic was forming there, growing larger by the second. 

"The flames of the great silver wyvern..." Damos started to say. 

"And the darkness of the almighty shadow god...." Tetsa said as they both started talking simultaneously. 

"Let them combine and merge into the ultimate power which has no equal! Unison Raid!" They shouted as I looked over to Motoyasu and the rest of his squad who were keeping Jackal at bay for the moment. 

"Motoyasu, all of you need to get out of there, now! Otherwise, you'll be caught in the blast!" I yelled as they all hit Jackal with one more attack which made him fall over. All 4 of them then turned to run away at Damos and Tetsa thrusted their interlocked fists forward.

"Wyvern God Slayer's Black Nova Flash!" They roared as, from their fists, they unleashed a colossal sized beam of energy, black and silver in colour with collided with Jackal. He tried everything to hold back the attack but it seemed like it was too much for him. He let out a howl of agonizing pain as the attack made him explode. 

"That'll teach you for hurting our friends, you bastard." Damos said as he and Tetsa stopped their attack and made their armors disappear. 

They combined their magic just like we can. This world honestly is very similar to ours." I thought to myself.

Thanks for the help, shield kid." Tetsa said to me. 

"It wasn't just me. Everyone who was with me played a role in helping too." I told her as she gave me a nod. 

"That magic you used though, Damos. It looked just like Natsu's, only you used silver flames instead of normal orange and yellow. Do you use a different kind of Fire Dragon Slayer magic?" I asked him as he shook his head. 

"Nope. I don't use Dragon Slayer magic at all. My type is one-of-a-kind. Zenith Wyvern Slayer magic. It's similar to dragon slaying, but I can't eat flames. However, it makes me faster than a normal dragon slayer, plus it gives me a few forms that I can turn into." He explained to me. 

"That's right. I use a similar power to theirs as well, but mine is also different. It's known as Shadow God Slaying magic. I can use it the same way Damos, Wendy, and Natsu use their magic, but I prefer to use mine to make weapons. I like ranged combat more than close quarters battles." Tetsa explained. 

"Your magic types are so versatile. People in our world would only dream of having abilities like that." I told them as someone started to chuckle. 

"Well, i'll be damned if I saw this coming. Haven't taken a beating like that since I was a pup. Guess it had to happen some time." We heard Jackal say as we all looked to where he was before. He was somehow still alive, but back in his human form. His whole body was glowing, meaning he'd turned himself into a bomb. 

"They're gonna have a tough time bringing me back, but this is the only way I can take all of you down with me! If I blow myself up, then the blast will be so huge that it'll annihilate this whole town! And, i'm not exactly the kind of bomb that you can diffuse! This body of mine is rigged to blow even if it dies!" Jackal roared in victory as he laughed at the top of his lungs. 

"No! None of us here, not even Natsu can stop an explosion of this magnitude! We have to get everyone out of this town, now!" Damos ordered everyone, but I had a much crazier idea. 

"Wait! I may be able to stop him! Rishia, come over here and help me!" I shouted as she ran over and stood behind me. 

"When I say "now," I want you to use your wind magic and blow this Jackal guy high into the sky, you got me?" I asked her as she gave me a determined nod. 

"Alright then, Shield Prison!" I shouted as I used my shield to trap Jackal inside a ball of metal and chains. 

"Second Shield!" I shouted as I trapped him inside a second shield prison, ensuring he wouldn't break lose. 

"Now, Rishia! Send him flying!" I yelled as she stepped in front of me and held both of her arms out. 

"As source of thy power, I order thee! Summon a gust of wind that blows away all targets in my path! High Wind Strike!" She screamed as she created a huge burst of wind from below the shield prison that sent it sky high. 

"More! More! Keep it up, Rishia! Send him into the clouds!" I shouted as she started roaring with strength, increasing the output of her wind and sending Jackal even further into the sky, to the point where we couldn't see him anymore. 

And, it all came to an end when the sky was filled with a massive golden explosion. It was like a small hydrogen bomb went off. But, luckily for all of us, Rishia was able to push it far enough where we wouldn't get caught in the blast at all. And, with that, it marked the end of that demon. 

"You know, you may have just said how great our magic was, but yours looked mighty impressive too. I'm sure Wendy here would love to learn some more wind spells from your friend there." Tetsa said, pointing at Rishia. 

"From me!? fweee...." Rishia said, sounding all worried now. 

"Really? I don't know, Rishia's not really the confident type yet." I jokingly said as we all gathered together to celebrate our victory. 

"Alright, we should head back to the guild. Are all you coming with us?" Natsu asked us. 

"Wait, are you sure? You only just met us, after all." Motoyasu asked him. 

"Oh, come on! Look at what we all just went through! We kicked that demon's butt, and you guys put him down for good! Besides, you said you'd help us fight this fight, right? Some hospitality is the least we can do for you." Damos said as we all looked at each other before I gave him a nod. 

"Fine. But first, you tell us what kind of fight this is. Tell us everything you know, and then we'll decide if we want to take part in this battle you're currently brawling in." I said as Damos and Tetsa sighed and nodded in agreement. 

"Very well. It's only fair you know what you're about to get into. And, there's no shame to any of you if you decide to leave. Just know that this is no simple battle. You're fighting to save every single life here in our world from these demons." Tetsa said. 

"So, they're just like us then. Fighting demons to save a world. How similar can you get, really?" Motoyasu questioned as we all agreed. 

"Wait a minute, did you just say you're in the same situation? Then, perhaps we can help each other here! If you help us fight the demons of Tartaros, then we'll help you fight the demons of your world!" Damos said as he held out his right hand. I was hesitant at first, but, this is what we came here to do in the first place. And, if we didn't come back with anyone, then we'd just be dooming all of Melromarc. So, I reached out my right hand and shook Damos' hand. 

"Deal."
