The Silver King

We're back in World 2 and things have been kicked into high gear! Rishia, Wendy, Ashley, and Carla have all given their lives to destroy Face, and they've saved all the magic so that our wizards can keep the fight going. But, even with their sacrifice, the underworld king of this world seals off nearly everyone who has come to fight, literally leaving an ever so small handful of wizards left to fight. We already know the first 6 who escaped the curse, that being Naofumi, Motoyasu, and the rest of the Usurper Roar guild members. But, who are the remaining two? Is it Tetsa and Neela? Or some other 2? Well, I don't know if we'll find out who both of them are, but we'll certainly find out about one of them here and now! Enjoy!

-POV: Naofumi-

Thanks to the underworld king of this world, who's known as Mard Geer, nearly all of our forces have been sealed away in this living flesh curse. He was kind enough to inform us that only 8 of us were able to escape the effects of the curse, but that didn't exactly put us in any commanding positions. With it just being me, Motoyasu, the Usurper Roar members, and the other two wizards, the odds of us beating legions of enemy soldiers, the Tartaros demons and Mard Geer himself are slim to none.

The six of us who were together split up to find the other two wizards before they became swarmed. I went along with Clayton, Usurper Roar's master, and Azura. Everywhere we went, we'd pass by more of this flesh curse that had some of our friends and even more Tartaros soldiers trapped inside. I wish I could stop to try and free them but I don't have any magic spells that could clear it away. I only had my shield prison to defend us against the curse when it was cast.

"Demons of Tartaros, I've used the Alegria. The intruders lives have been snuffed out. Our plans remain unchanged. Face's activation is imminent." We heard Mard Geer say as he projected his voice all throughout that castle.

"Wait, what did he just say? Rishia, Wendy and the others stopped Face though. How can its activation be imminent?" I questioned.

"Not too sure myself. Perhaps it's just a bluff to put us into a panic." Clayton suggested but something told me Mard Geer was not.

"However, 8 unfortunate human souls managed to avoid the Alegria's reach. A timely vacancy has risen within the nine demon gates. Whoever slays the most humans will fill it. And, if a demon gate should kill the humans, they shall receive an even greater reward. Good hunting." Mard Geer announced as he cut out. We stated to hear the cheering of both soldiers and demons coming through the long hallways of the castle.

"Now they've got even more drive to beat us. Which means they ain't gonna hold back anymore if they were." Azura said as we were approaching a door at the end of our hallway.

"Azura, knock it down!" Clayton ordered him as Azura created a layer of magma over his right fist. He threw a hard punch at the wooden door and he blew it apart with a single blow.

"Piece of ca-" Azura tried to say as he suddenly fell when he passed through the door. There was no floor at all on the other side. Azura was hanging by a soldier who was frozen in the flesh curse just below the doorway. Me and Clayton reached down the bring him back up.

"What the hell's the point of having a door here if it doesn't go anywhere!?" Azura questioned as I looked down through the doorway. It looked like a canal or some sort of estuary within the castle had formed when Mard Geer used that curse. It was about 100 feet across easy, and water was flowing through it.

"Get away from me, you demons!" We heard someone shout in the distance.

"Who was that? It sounded like a girls voice." I said as Clayton and Azura agreed with me.

"Look! Down there, in the water!" Clayton said as he pointed into the canal. We all looked and saw Lucy riding down the stream on top of a flat piece of wood. And, closely following her were some of the demons of Tartaors. One looked like a purple shark man..... thing, and it was wearing a green jacket. And, the other demon was one I was already familiar with. It was the one named Jackal that I faced when I first arrived in this world.

"That guy's still alive!? But, I watched him self-destruct! Is Tartaros capable of some sort of reincarnation magic or curse!?" I thought to myself as we watched Jackal throw a fireball that struck Lucy and made her nearly fall into the raging rapids.

"We need to get down there before we lose them and help her!" I shouted as I was ready to jump into the water. But, Clayton reached his right arm out and stopped me from doing that.

"Hold it, shield kid. Let me handle this." He said to me as he held his left hand straight out and then aimed it down at where Lucy and the demons were.

"Time Magic: Freeze!" Clayton shouted as a clock dial appeared on the palm of his hand. It was moving to start but then stopped. I then looked down and saw everything below us come to a complete stop. The water stopped instantly, but Lucy and the demons were still moving.

"This spell of mine can't effect living creatures, so we need to get down there right now and assist her. You can step on the water just fine now that I froze it in time, so get going!" Clayton said as all three of us down and landed on the time frozen water.

"What the hell's going on? Why did everything just stop all of a sudden?" Jackal questioned.

"It's because we've got even more company now." The shark man said to him as he pointed to all of us.

"You guys...... You...... came....." Lucy said as, when we got closer to her, we could see she was in rough shape. She must've already been fighting these demons long before we found her.

"Get away from her, you monsters!" I shouted to the two demons as they both cracked their knuckles.

"Looks like we've run into half of the remaining enemy forces, haven't we, Torafuzar?" Jackal said to the other demon which I assumed was its name.

"Indeed. And, I recognize two of them. They're from the Usurper Roar guild. That's their master, and he wields time magic. And, his subordinate to his left is named Azura who wields magma magic. But the third, i'm not sure who he is." Torafuzar explained.

"That third guy is one of those travelers from a different world, the ones that the black demon told us about. He uses defensive magic." Jackal explained.

"Yeah, that's right. But, if you underestimate me just because I don't use offensive magic, then you're about to be in a world of hurt." I said to the demons.

"I've got a score to settle with you, shield asshole. But first, I've gotta take care of this blonde bimbo." Jackal said as he walked over to Lucy.

"Air Strike Shield!" I shouted as I made my floating green shield appear between him and Lucy.

"I don't think so." I said to him.

"Fine, so be it. You'll probably be more fun to kill anyway!" Jackal said to me.

"Lucy, get out of here! Go find Motoyasu and the others! They're trying to find whoever the other wizard wasn't caught by this curse!" I said to her as she gave me a nod and then took off down the canal.

"My offensive abilities are limited while I hold something in time with my magic. Can I leave the fighting to you two for now?" Clayton asked me and Azura as we both gave him nods.

"Yeah, you can count on us, pops. Now, Molten Flare Fist!" Azura shouted as he suddenly rushed the two demons while creating more magma on his hands.

"He's mine!" Torafuzar shouted as he charged Azura. Both slammed into each other with iMmense force but neither pushed each other back.

"Thanks for leaving this one to me, Tora. That was kind of you to let me settle my little score." Jackal said as we began to circle each other.

"So, one of the black demon knights did come here after all, if what you said was true. What did they offer you?" I asked Jackal as he chuckled at my question.

"More than what we could ask for. Before it left to go find more forces for its cause, it told us that when we demons completed our mission in our world, we would go to its world and fight in a grand war against legendary heroes. And, when we annihilated the heroes, we would rule over that world as well, alongside the other demons!" Jackal explained as he started to laugh maniacally.

"Is that so? Jeez, I should've guessed, it was so predictable. But I've got news for you, fur ball." I said to him as he stopped laughing and gave me a curious look.

"Oh, and what's that?" Jackal asked me.

"You won't win here. We're going to stop this little plan of yours, destroy you and the rest of the demons in this world, then we're gonna kick the asses of the demons from our world and the forces they bring back with them! We'll stand atop you in sheer, undisputed victory." I bragged to Jackal as he suddenly became enraged.

"Like hell that'll happen! You're gonna die and then so will the rest of your weak friends!" Jackal shouted as he created a fireball in his right hand and threw it at me.

"Meteor Shield!" I shouted as my shield changed forms. I raised it up and the fireball struck it, but I wasn't blown back. I was able to easily block the attack.

"Now, Soul Eater Shield!" I said as my shield changed forms to now look like the face of the Soul Eater monster.

"That's one creepy looking shield you got there. What's it do? Scare my soul out of my body and then consume it?" Jackal jokingly asked as I shook my head.

"Not quite. But you're about to find out!" I shouted as the mouth on my shield opened up wide. I then ran for Jackal and the face on my shield lunged forward and engulfed the upper half of his body within its mouth.

"Hey, what the!? Let me out of here!" Jackal demanded but I was not letting go.

"Normally, the Soul Eater shield drains the stats of enemies from my world, but for beings from a different world, it drains their very life force!" I yelled as my shield began to suck away all of Jackal's strength.

"It does what!? No, let me go!" Jackal cried as he tried to break out using an explosion from within the mouth. But, I remained strong and didn't waver, leaving him still trapped inside.

"Release my comrade, you worthless human!" I heard Torafuzar shout as I looked over to see him throw Azura over to me. I was bowled over by Azura and he made me fall over, making me lose focus on my shields effects and making it so Jackal could slip away.

"Thanks for the save, Tora." Jackal said to him.

"Stop fooling around and just kill him already." Torafuzar said to Jackal as he hit him across the head.

"The kid doesn't stand a chance against me! At least let me play with my food for a bit! I want the pain he's gonna feel to be slow!" Jackal replied.

"Jeez, and I thought me and Motoyasu argued all the time." I thought to myself as me and Azura stood back up.

"Look, if we take down the master, then he won't be able to freeze this place in time anymore, meaning the water will flow again. I'll be in my element and these fools won't stand a chance against me." Torafuzar said to Jackal as he gave him a nod.

"Is that really a wise decision? I am the master of a guild, after all. I am the most skilled and powerful wizard in Usurper Roar. Do you really think you can best me?" Clayton asked them as they both began to circle him.

"Haven't you heard? I'm the guy who blew up the magic council. One guild master shouldn't be too much of a hassle to beat." Jackal said to Clayton.

"Oh? Are you now? Then that gives me an even greater reason to kick your sorry little ass. Time Magic: Freeze Limit 5!" Clayton said as the magic dial on his hand began to tick like a clock.

"I just made it so my spell will only last for 5 more minutes. After that, the effects will stop and everything will flow once more. But, it also means I don't have to worry about holding everything in place now. I can fight to my full extent." Clayton said as he cracked his knuckles.

"No matter how strong you are or what kind of magic you possess, it won't matter in the end. You're going to die." Torafuzar said to Clayton as he just chuckled away.

"Then hit me with your best shot." Clayton taunted them as they both rushed for him at the same time.

"I'm gonna blow you to pieces, old man! You're gonna wish you'd died years ago!" Jackal shouted but Clayton still kept on chuckling.

"Years..... The very essence of my magic power...... let's see what those years you speak of do to you! Time Magic: Future Decade Strike!" Clayton shouted as more dials appeared on his fists, and they were ticking fast. Clayton rushed the two demons as well, heading for Jackal first. Jackal made his right fist glow with curse energy, meaning if he touched Clayton, he would explode. Jackal threw his punch at Clayton but he ducked underneath it and then uppercutted Jackal right in the jaw with his right fist. The sound of the ticking stopped as the magic power on Clayton's fist absorbed itself into Jackal. And, when it was complete, Jackal was blown back by a massive shockwave that sent hi cratering into a wall on the other side of the canal.

"What the heck did he do to him?" I asked out of sheer curiosity because that attack was incredible.

"Pops there wields very rare time magic. He's capable of freezing time within a certain range as you saw before, but that pails in comparison to his offensive capabilities. He can literally attack people with years. But, the more he attacks them with, the older he becomes as well. He can reverse the effects on his body but that still doesn't stop the age he's already at. So, while master Clayton has the body of a 60 year old man, he's actually over 130 years old." Azura explained to me as I was stunned.

"Over 130 years old? Holy crap....." I said in disbelief as Clayton went on to attack Torafuzar next.

"Tenshi Kaimei!" Torafuzar shouted as he put both of his webbed hands together and shot a massive stream of water from them at Clayton.

"Future 5 Year Light!" Clayton roared as he thrusted his left hand forward this time and fired a white beam from the dial on it. Their attacks collided but Clayton's quickly began to push Tora's back. Clayton's attack was evaporating Tora's as it came in contact with it and soon enough, Clayton struck Torafuzar and sent him flying into the same wall Jackal had struck.

"With magic like that, it's a wonder if anyone can match his strength....." I said to myself.

"Time Flow: Reverse 15 Years" Clayton said as another dial appeared on his chest. It spun counterclockwise slowly and Clayton's body began to glow white like his attacks. But it soon came to a stop and Clayton took a deep breath.

"Sorry, make that 145 years old." Azura said to me.

"This magic..... it's unreal!" Jackal said as we all looked over to where he had hit the wall. He emerged from a pile of rubble and we could see his lower jaw and neck had decayed a bit when Clayton hit him.

"He actually did hit him with age itself." I said in disbelief.

"For someone who's over 100 years old, you're pretty spry. But that doesn't mean you're smart! Because your days of fighting are over." Jackal said as he pointed down to Clayton's feet. We all looked down to them and saw a small patch on the ground glowing gold.

"Oh no, master!" Azura shouted as he tried to make a rush for him. But, he was far too late. Jackal must've used his feet to lay down an explosive curse right below Clayton. And before Clayton could even react, it detonated and engulfed him in a huge explosion. Clayton was sent flying into the air and came crashing down with enough force to shatter the ground.

"Master, are you alright!?" Azura shouted to him as we rushed over. We both kneeled down next to him and Azura held up his upper body in his arms.

"Master..... Pops, can you hear me!?" Azura pleaded but Clayton did nothing. He didn't even breath.

"Hold on, I can help him! As source of thy power, I order thee! Decipher the laws of nature and heal my target! Fast Heal!" I shouted as I placed my hand over Clayton and made him glow with a green outline. It was brief but he slowly started to breath again.

"He's...... He's alive!" Azura cheered but the happy moment was cut short. The dial keeping everything frozen that was on Clayton's hand stopped ticking. It disappeared and the water we were standing on began to move again. All of us, even the demons were swept away in the current.

Underneath the rapids, I was pulled away from Azura and Clayton and I was slowly drifting over to Torafuzar. He was moving freely through the water, just like a shark would, which meant we were all in big trouble. If he's like a shark, then water is his element. We stand no chance against him now.

"You're in my domain now, human! The battle is over! Make piece with whatever god you worship before I end your pathetic and miserable life!" Torafuzar roared as he swam right for me. He reached out and grabbed onto my shield and pushed me back against a wall.

"I'm gonna bite that little head of yours clean off!" He shouted as he lunged his head forward and attempted to bite me. But, I leaned my head to the left to just narrowly avoid his attack.

"Stay still, you little runt!" Torafuzar shouted as I tried my best to call out my own attack.

"A..ai....air..... str.....ike..... sh....ield!" I yelled underneath the water as my green floating shield appeared between myself and Tora, knocking him away from me. I took this opening to swim to the surface so I could breath. I was able to but only for a moment when I felt Tora grab onto my leg and pull me back under.

"I didn't say you could leave!" Torafuzar shouted as he lunged his head forward at me again and bit down onto my shield. He then reached up with both of his webbed hands and grabbed onto my head. He was trying to twist and crush my head at the same time. If my neck didn't snap, then he'd surely crush my skull if he kept this up for much longer.

But, in the midst of all this struggling, a sound broke the tension for a moment. From above the surface of the water, we heard a faint roaring sound.

"What was that?" Torafuzar questioned as he stopped biting my shield to look around. But, he couldn't see anything.

"Whatever it was, it does not matter! You're dead, shield wiz-" Torafuzar attempted to say as suddenly, two large talons reached down into the water and grasped his shoulders, digging into them as he was pulled away from me. Whatever grabbed him pulled him right out of the water and it let me go back up to the surface to breath again.

When I resurfaced, I was near awe-struck by what I was witnessing. I watched as a huge silver scaled wyvern flew above the canal with Tora in its clutches, whipping him around into the walls and throwing him down back into the water. The wyvern then unleashed a huge silver fireball right into the water where Torafuzar landed and everything, all of the water evaporated within seconds.

-Here's an example picture of what the wyvern looks like. Leave a comment if you know what this is from too!-

"Where did that thing come from!? And this power..... these flames..... it's unreal!" I said in disbelief as we all now stood on solid ground again. Torafuzar was no more. That attack that this wyvern hit him with incinerated his body into nothing. Not even ashes remained. The wyvern proceeded to land next to me and it gave me a glaring look with its purple eyes. But, it then rubbed its head against me, as if it knew me.

"Uh.... hi there....." I awkwardly said as Azura came over to me while helping Clayton walk.

"Thanks for the save, buddy." Azura said to the wyvern as it gave him a nod.

"Wait, you've met this thing before?" I questioned.

"Sure have. That wyvern standing before you is Damos. It's his strongest form. The Silver King." Azura explained.

"This thing? This is Damos? The same Damos from Fairy Tail?" I questioned as the wyvern gave me a nod.

"Any chance you wanna swap our world's magic types?" I jokingly asked him as someone began yelling in the distance.

"That does it! I've had it with you wizards! I'm gonna murder you once and for all!" Jackal roared in anger as he transformed his body again into his werewolf form like before. He let out a loud howl as Damos countered by letting out a mighty roar.

"So you're the wyvern slayer that killed me a few days ago. Your little god slaying friend isn't here to help you this time, so let's see if you can beat me all by yourself!" Jackal roared as he started to charge Damos. Damos turned and began to charge him as well and the two met with a vengeance. They smashed their heads against one another and Damos got the better of the exchange as he pushed back Jackal.

"Exploding Spiral!" Jackal shouted as he shot two beams from his claws that began to spiral with one another. Damos covered himself with one of his huge wings as the attack made contact. The attack exploded but Damos shrugged it off like it was nothing. He kept on going toward Jackal as he ignited flames inside his mouth and then launched another huge fireball at him.

"Bomb Orb!" Jackal howled at he made a large golden ball appear between his claws. He threw it at Damos' fireball and the two attacks exploded when they met. Both of them were engulfed by the huge smoke cloud that was created but we heard Damos let out another breathtaking roar like before. And, after just a few seconds, he came flying out of the cloud with Jackal stuck in his talons.

"Let go of me, you damn wyvern! You're nothing but a pathetic flying lizard! You're not even a real dragon!" Jackal roared as Damos began to dive back to the ground. And, when he got close enough, he threw down Jackal with enough force to crater the stone floor. Damos flew back about 30 feet and landed on the ground to roar at Jackal once again.

"Why can't any of Jackal's attacks hurt Damos?" I asked Azura.

"Because Damos isn't any old wyvern. Sure, unlike dragons, wyverns still live to this day but they're complete jokes of creatures. However, like Natsu, Wendy, and a few other wizards, Damos was raised by a wyvern of the olden days. The days when the wyverns lived alongside the dragons. They matched them in strength and Damos was taught how to wield their unbelievable magic. He's the only wizard alive who can use it. Wyverns and dragons were the strongest and toughest creatures to ever exist, and their scales were said to be tougher than even the hardest diamonds. No attack can harm them." Azura explained to me as we saw Damos ignite flames in his mouth again.

"Enough is enough! All I've gotta do is touch you and then you're dead!" Jackal shouted as his claws began to glow gold again. Damos reacted by bringing his spiky tail around and placing it in his mouth around the halfway length. He began to grind his tail through his flaming teeth which began to spark up and make his tail emanate an intense heat. He finished grinding it and the tail was a bright red colour. It was heated up so much by his magic, and yet, this isn't a magic attack he's using.

"DDDDDIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!" Jackal roared as he lunged for Damos, reaching out with his claws to touch him and blow him up. But, before he could, Damos spun around and swung his super hot tail at Jackal. He striked him right in the chest and burned away at his fur, igniting it in flames as Jackal was sent flying. He landed on his back and quickly patted the flames away.

"Such power....." Jackal said in pain as Damos took flight once more, going so high into the air until he was directly above where Jackal was laying.

"Uh oh. I know what he's about to do. We've gotta take cover, right now!" Azura said as he and Clayton turned to run and hide behind some rubble.

"Why!? What's he about to do!?" I questioned.

"Do you want to die!?" Azura shouted to me as I took that as my sign to follow him. I hid behind the rubble too and we watched Damos begin to create a colossal sized silver fireball from his mouth. But, he wasn't firing it at Jackal. No, instead, the fireball dispersed and the flames spread around his wyvern body, coating him in a layer of the scorching flames. He let out his greatest roar yet as he dive bombed for Jackal.

"Get down!" Azura said as he grabbed my head and pushed it down. Damos impacted Jackal with a tremendous force and the flames on his body created a monumental explosion. The shockwave was so large and powerful that we could feel it all the way over to where we were taking cover. The rubble we were hiding behind was being blown away and we were starting to slide along the ground. But, the shockwave was beginning to die down and we were able to stay in the same place thankfully.

"Did..... Did Damos do it? Did he win?" I questioned as the smoke cleared from where he attacked Jackal. There stood Damos the wyvern alone in a crater, raising his reptilian head up high and letting out one last mighty roar. His body then ignited into silver flames again but underneath them, he began to transform back into his human form. And a few seconds later, he looked the way he did when I had met him.

"Sorry that took so long. He was a little tougher than I thought." Damos said as he shook his wrists a couple of times.

"That was incredible! This magic you possess is unlike anything I've ever seen before! Have you always been able to transform into a wyvern?" I asked him as he shook his head.

"No, it's actually fairly new to me. I learned to do it about a year ago, but it really takes a tremendous amount of my magic energy to pull off. I can only hold the form for about an hour before I run dry." Damos explained to us.

"So, you're the 8th wizard who escaped the Alegria curse then. How'd you do it?" Azura asked him.

"I was alone when all that curse went off. I was hurrying down a corridor when this flesh stuff cut me off. I tried to burn it with my normal black and blue flames but they didn't do a thing. It started to latch onto me but I all of a sudden jut transformed into my silver king form. I used my flames again and this time it worked. I melted the flesh right off of me." Damos explained.

"So then you can free everyone who's stuck in the flesh still!" I said to him.

"That'll require an enormous amount of magic energy to do though, and I easily used over half of mine in that last fight." He said to us as Clayton reached out his left hand and put it on Damos' right shoulder.

"Then i'll advance your time to the point where you have the strength to do it." Clayton said as his hand began to glow, as did Damos' body. And, when he stopped, Damos' hands burst into flames.

"Pops.... are you sure? You already look beat up, so shouldn't you save your energy?" Damos asked him as he shook his head.

"I may not be your master anymore, but I still know what's best for you. Take it. Free our friends." Clayton said as Damos gave him a nod before stepping back a bit.

"His control over his flames is unmatched. He can make them burn whatever he wants, and stop them from burning what he doesn't want. He can get rid of the flesh and make it so our friends return unharmed by them." Azura explained to me as Damos' body began to glow with a silver outline.

"Wyvern Ignition: 100%! Silver King!" Damos cried as his body began to change forms. His arms turned into those large silver wings, he grew a tail out from his back side and spikes came out of the end of it, his feet grew into the same sharp talons, his body enlarged and silver scales covered it up, and his neck elongated and his head formed into that of the same wyvern. Damos let out yet another mighty roar as a sign his transformation was complete.

"Remember, you must spread your flames all throughout the castle! Keep it up for as long as you need to!" I said to him as he gave me a nod. He then made his wings burst into flames and Damos began to flap them with intense force. The flames on them began to fly everywhere, into the flesh around us, into the air, and even down some corridors ahead and behind us. We could see the flesh around us was already beginning to melt away from his silver flames.

"It's working! Keep it up!" We all cheered for him. Soon, all of our friends would be free once again.

-POV: Motoyasu-

Lots of explosion and roaring sounds were coming down from where we parted ways with Naofumi and the other Usurper Roar members. I hoped they were alright.

"Wait, I recognize that roar! It's Damos!" Melida said.

"So he was able to escape this curse too then! Alright!" Milo cheered as, from in front of us, a wall of silver flames came rushing down the hallway.

"Holy shit! Run! Other way!" I yelled as we all turned to run from the flames. But they were too quick and we were engulfed by them. But, the strange thing was that they weren't burning us at all.

"What's going on with this fire?" I questioned.

"If it's not burning us..... this must be Damos' flames!" Milo said.

"He has that kind of control over his fire? He can choose what gets burned and what doesn't!?" I asked in disbelief as he gave me a nod.

"Hey, look!" Melida said as she was pointing through the corridor at all the flesh. It was melting away because of these flames. But, the only people stuck in the flesh around us were enemy soldiers.

"Damos is melting away the flesh to free our comrades, but that means he'll also be freeing our enemies too. Looks like we're gonna have to fight some more real soon." I said as I readied my spear as the soldiers were completely free. But, none of them moved when they were let loose of the curse. And it didn't sound like any of them were breathing.

"Are..... they dead?" Milo questioned as the flames in the hallway dissipated.

"Yes, these worthless foot soldiers are quite dead. And, so will all of you very soon." A demon said as they revealed themselves from the shadows at the end of the hallway. He had dark brown skin, greenish-yellow hair, a black and white sleeveless vest, and black pants.

"I am the immortal calamity. You may call me "Tempester." I am one of the nine demon gates of Tartaros." He introduced himself.

"You're the one who killed all of these soldiers?" I asked him as I prepared to fight.

"Indeed. They stayed within my presence for too long and inhaled what are known as Bane particles. They're harmless to us demons but if humans consume enough, then it becomes a fatal poison." Tempester explained.

"Well, it looks like we'll just have to beat you before that happens to us then. Prepare to fall by the might of the spear hero!" I roared as the three of us charged the demon.

While our search for the other two survivors may have come up short, we were thankful to hear that Damos also made escaped the curse and was the one who melted away the flesh. And, if his flames were able to make it through the entire castle, then that would mean all of our allies were freed from the curse. We're back in this fight again. And now, me, Milo, and Melida are gonna kick this demons ass!
