And another demon bites the dust. Only this time, it came at a price for our allied forces. Our first major death has occurred. Damos has passed on but not before granting Tetsa his magic power. And now it is her turn. But even before all that, Tetsa showed everyone who's boss. I mean, using a technique that makes it so you can't use your magic anymore? Doing that right in the middle of a war is practically asking yourself to die but she didn't hesitate in the slightest. And her fearlessness is why she's my favourite character to write in my Fairy Tail series. And lastly, before we get back into the story, at the end of this chapter i'll be revealing what my next series is going to be. And, i'm sure there'll be quite a few of you that'll like it. Enjoy!

-POV: Ayuma-

The battle was beginning to move into the late day. The sun was just beginning to set but no end was in sight for this great war. Even though 2 more demons have been defeated, there's still 2 more left and I had a hunch they were the tougher than the rest. And, defeating the other two demons took a toll on our forces. Drake defeated one but he's now unable to move at all. His fight is over. Damos defeated one too but.... after meeting up with Tetsa and Rishia who rescued the queen and Melty, they informed me he passed away.

Overall, well over half of our allied forces are either injured or down. There's only a handful of us left, maybe around 20. Motoyasu, Itsuki, and Ren are all nearing their limits, while Naofumi is just barely keeping up. And, i'm starting to tire out too. In terms of who could no longer fight, the list went on for what seemed like forever. Drake, Wrath Queen, Midoriya, Leena, Amber, Melida, Azura, Milo, and so many more were unable to continue.

I was currently in combat with a plethora of enemy forces. Between soldiers and these creatures known as Grimm, I was surrounded on nearly all sides. But, these forces were so weak that I barely even had to try to fight them. 

"Ice Titan Axe!!" I shouted as my axe blades became encased in ice. I swung it at my foes and encased them in ice on the spot with ease. 

"There. That should hold all of you for the time being. Now...." I said as I heard a loud growling noise come from behind me. I turned and saw this huge werewolf type Grimm standing behind me. It raised up its right claw and prepared to attack me but, before it could, a huge burst of black flames came out of nowhere and engulfed the creature, incinerating it within seconds. I turned to see where the flames came from and what I saw made my rage increase drastically. I saw a demon.

"YOU!!!" I shouted as I started sprinting for it. I had my axe ready in my hands as I brought it to my right side. 

"Wait, stop!! Please, it's not what you think!! Ayuma, just listen to me!!" The demon pleaded to me but I refused to listen. After everything they've done to me and the ones that I love, I have no reason to listen to them anymore.

"SHUT UP!!! I'M GOING TO END YOUR TERROR ONCE AND FOR ALL AND FREE THIS WORLD AND ALL THE OTHERS!!!" I shouted as I neared the demon. But, right before I could swing at it, Naofumi came running in from my right and he tackled me to the ground. 

"GET OFF OF ME, NAOFUMI!! I HAVE TO SLAY THAT DEMON!!" I roared as I tried to push him off of me. 

"You need to stop, Ayuma!!! That demon, it isn't what you think it is!! It's Neela!!!" Naofumi shouted as I suddenly stopped struggling. 

"What.....? What're you saying? Just look at it, that can't be Neela!! I know what Neela looks like and she is no demon!!" I said as the demon came walking up and then crouched down next to me. 

"Mommy......" It said to me as it felt like my body froze that instant. 

"What did you just say.....?" I asked it as Naofumi got off of me. 

"I'm..... i'm so sorry, Miss Ayuma..... I... just couldn't find the strength to tell you...... that all this..... was happening to me...." The demon said as it began to cry. This really was Neela, after all. 

"No..... it's okay, it's okay....." I said as I got up and hugged her, trying my best to comfort her. 

"How did this happen to you?" I asked as she wailed into my shoulder. 

"It began.... when you attacked me.... when we battled the zombie dragon. Your demonic power..... it planted a seed within me. It gave me near unstoppable power, but the seed itself began to grow. It turned me into what you see now. I'm becoming one of them." Neela explained to me as I began to cry now too.

"This is all my fault. Had I have tried to control my emotions back then..... then this wouldn't have happened to you...." I said as I held her tightly in my arms.

"No..... It's my fault for not telling you. I just..... I just didn't want you to worry about me. I thought it would tear you apart if you knew the same thing was happening to me as it did with you." She told me as I cried even more. All this happened to her just because she was trying to care for me. 

"I promise...... no matter how long it takes..... I will find a way to turn you back to the way you were. We'll look at each other with our own eyes once again..... I swear." I said as a loud *THUD* sound suddenly erupted nearby. 

"I'd hate to break up the heartwarming moment, but we've got-" Naofumi said as suddenly, a black spear came flying into view and impaled him through the chest.

"NAOFUMI, NOOOO!!!" I screamed as I got up to run for him. He fell to his knees in front of us but I caught him before he could collapse. We all looked at the spear, and we could see it easily pierced right through his entire body. 

"Just hold on, we'll help you!!! Krystal, where are you!!??" I shouted but I couldn't see her anywhere. 

"No.... don't worry.... about me..... worry..... about..... him...." Naofumi said as he raised his right hand up to point in the sky. Me and Neela looked up and saw a demon flying in place. It was larger than Neela and even myself, and it had that same black scaly pattern all over its body. This one had two spiraling horns on both sides of its head, a long serpent-like tail, and most distinctively, this demon had four arms.

"One pesky cardinal hero now rests on deaths doorstep, with three near exhaustion and the final about to join the first. Your forces are dwindling, heroes. Give me the hybrid demon creature at your side and I will grant you all swift deaths." The demon said as he flew down and landed on the ground about 30 feet away from us. 

"Neela, I need you to take Naofumi. Go find Krystal or just anyone who can heal him, please." I said as I began to approach the demon, gripping my axe tightly in my right hand. 

"No, mother, you can't fight him all alone! You'll die!!!" Neela pleaded as something then landed in between me and the demon. It became clear what it was when I saw a familiar sparkling diamond arm appear from the dust. 

"You demons are the reason my mother lost her arm!!! I shall show you no mercy!!!" Cry roared with fury as his veins began to glow purple. 

"Don't worry. I won't be alone. Now, go! Get him some help, now!!" I said as Neela gave me a nod before helping Naofumi to his feet and taking him away. I then walked over to Cry as the two of us were about to take on this dreaded monster. 

"I know you're a hero and all, but this isn't your world. If you want to kill that demon, then no one will hold it against you." I said to Cry as he gave me a stern nod. 

"So you two are my challengers, I see? The legendary axe hero, and a simple young boy. At first glance the two of you don't seem a match for me at all. But perhaps you can prove me wrong. I do hope so." The demon said to us as he cracked all four of his fists. 

"I slayed the first demon, and now two more killed. Your forces are dwindling as well, meaning you and your king are running out of support. So face it, you're losing this battle!! Give up now and it will be us who grants you a quick death!!" I spoke to the demon as it only laughed at me. 

"Honestly, I do not know why Sefira chose you to be her host. Such a weak and broken girl such as yourself.... it's no wonder she was defeated. But I, the demon knight Rhia, have no need for a host. Besides my king, Aidoneus, I stand above all the other demons as the strongest. No creature in existence can hope to best me in combat." The demon said as Cry stepped forward. 

"Maybe not a creature in this world, but one from mine..... I think I've got what it takes to kick your sorry little ass." He said as he cracked his knuckles.

"Then show me what you can do, child." Rhia said as the two of them charged each other.

"Open! Portals!!" Cry shouted as two portals appeared, one in front of him and one to the right of Rhia. He jumped into the one in front of him and came out the other, reeling back his right diamond arm to attack. 

"Spark! Flare!" Cry roared as his right arm ignited into flames. He then unleashed a huge stream of fire right into Rhia's face and engulfed the demon. 

"Holy....." I said in awe as i'd never seen Cry with this level of rage before. He wasn't holding back at all. 

"Your puny flame is meaningless!! And now, it becomes mine!!" Rhia shouted as he reached out of the flames and grabbed onto Cry's right arm. He pulled him down and slammed him into the earth in front of him. Rhia then held his free arm out and began to absorb Cry's fire into his body. 

"No way...." I said as Rhia lifted Cry back up again and held him in front of his hand. 

"Let's see how you like it when I roast you alive with your own flame." Rhia said as his hand ignited into black flames.

"Get your hands off of him, demon!!! HA!!" I screamed as I threw my axe at him. He had a brief moment of worry on his face before he dropped Cry and stepped out of the way to avoid my attack.

"Portals!" Cry shouted as he dropped into one of his portals and then came out one next to me. 

"You alright?" I asked him as he gave me a nod.

"Yeah, i'm alright. And, now we know what makes this demon so special. He can absorb our attacks and they make him stronger." Cry said as I agreed as I called back my axe. It rose up from where it laid and it flew back into my left hand. 

"We'll just have to hit him so fast and hard that he won't have any time to take in the attack then." I said as I changed my axes form. 

"Soaring Thunderbird Axe!!" I shouted as black feathers and electricity appeared on my blade.

"I'll join in too!!! Raging Black Bolt!!" Cry shouted as he raised his right arm up into the air. The clouds above came together and turned dark as they shot down a black thunderbolt which made contact with his arm. He then aimed it down as I did the same with my axe. 

"Taste the fury of the heavens!!!" We both howled as we unleashed our electric attacks. They shot for Rhia side by side at a truly blinding speed. But, mere moments before being struck, Rhia sidestepped to his left and dodged my attack while at the same time, absorbing Cry's into his hands. 

"He took it in again? Alright, let's see if he can absorb this! Ultimate Move: O2 Discharge!!" Cry shouted as a clear bubble appeared around Rhia. 

"Now, release!!" Cry shouted as he closed his diamond hand into a fist. He began to suck away the oxygen from within the bubble and we could see Rhia was struggling inside. He started punching the sides of the bubble and quickly, he was beginning to crack it. 

"Looks like Oxygen isn't something that you can take in, demon!! How does it feel, knowing you're going to lose just from lack of air!?" Cry shouted with pride as Rhia clenched his fists tightly and threw one monstrous punch at the bubble. He effortlessly smashed it apart like glass and then expanded his wings to take flight.

"Your attacks bore me, child. I insist you step up your game before I choose to end it." Rhia said as he flew up and hovered in place near us. 

"Oh, i'll show you how I am when i'm really serious!" Cry shouted in a rage as he went to rush for him. But, I reached out and stopped him before he could go in and potentially do something stupid. 

"What is it!?" He asked me. 

"Just wait a sec! Think about what's been happening with this guy. So far, other than the last one, he's just absorbed every attack you've thrown at him." I said as Cry gave me a confused look. 

"Yeah, so? I just haven't hit him with something fast enough yet." He said as I shook my head. 

"I'm starting to think that isn't the answer. Remember to when we both attacked him with lightning? He chose to dodge mine and absorb yours again. I think because of my cardinal weapon, he can't absorb my own attacks." I explained as he seemed to catch on. 

"So, if I can make an opening for you, you can go in and take him down with your weapon, is what you're saying?" Cry asked as I gave him a nod. 

"Yes. Think you can do it?" I asked as he let out a smile and a chuckle. 

"Can I do it? I can do anything! Now, hold on tight! Open! Portals!" Cry shouted as he created a portal below my feet. I fell into it and came out a second right above Rhia.

"Sea Serpent Axe!!" I shouted as my weapon changed forms once again. Now, its blades turned a deep blue and two blue snakes coiled around its grip. 

"Nebula Slash!!" I yelled as I swung my blade down at Rhia. I unleashed a whipping wave of water from my axe that struck Rhia in the back. He didn't absorb it just like I thought and he let out a brief grunt of pain.

"Why you!?" Rhia shouted as he swung both of his left arms behind him. He grabbed onto my left leg and arm and brought me around in front of him. He then grabbed my other leg and arm with his right arms and then pulled tightly on all of my limbs. 

"That hurt, you little slut. And for that, I think i'll remove everything that makes you function. So say goodbye to your arms and legs!" Rhia roared in my face as he began to pull even harder on me. I let out a scream of pain and agony as Cry suddenly appeared, flying in right next to my left side, having his right arm reeled back and vibrating. 

"Try absorbing this without your hands!! Ultimate Move: Absolute Mass Hammer!!!" Cry roared as he drove his right fist into the demon's face. With one mighty explosion of wind, he launched the demon away from us and back down into the ground, making a huge crater where he landed. However, Rhia was able to get back up like it was nothing, meaning Cry's attack didn't do very much to him. 

"Thanks for the save." I said as Cry gave me a nod. 

"No problem. And, it seems there's a few of my attacks that work on him too. So, if you can give me some openings like I do for you, then we can take him down in no time." Cry said as I agreed. 

"You bastard!! No matter how many attacks you two hit me with, I will never die!! Nothing in this or any other world can kill me!!" Rhia declared as he began to produce electricity on his hands. 

"Dark Spiral Thunderbolt!!!" Rhia roared as he unleashed black lightning onto us. 

"Get behind me, now!!" Cry shouted as I did as he said. 

"Expand!! Shield!!" Cry yelled as his right hand morphed into a massive circular shield. Rhia's attack struck it with intense force and began pushing Cry back against the ground. 

"It's.... too.... much!!!" Cry said as the lightning started to channel through his shield and arm and begin shocking him. He screamed in pain as he dropped to his knees. 

"Hold on, i'll help you!!" I screamed as I expanded my wings out and took flight, going above Cry's shield and dive bombing for Rhia. 

"Barbarian Minotaur Axe!!!" I howled as my weapon changed once again. Now, it dawned its trademark dark silver colour and two horns along the blades. I swung my weapon at Rhia as he stopped attacking Cry to defend himself. He created a huge black double edged sword in his hands and he met my attack head on. We clashed blades and the forces of our attacks created a massive shock wave that made another crater beneath us. 

"Cry, can you still fight!" I shouted to him as I quickly glanced behind me. His body was smoking a little but he was still standing. And, he gave me a simple thumbs up as an answer. 

"Even with the help of the boy, or even if you had the help of all the other cardinal heroes, you wouldn't be a match for me!!! Just admit your defeat so I may end your life swiftly!!" Rhia shouted as we clashed weapons again. 

"No way!! The day I say I surrender is the day I die!! And no one, not even you can make me say that!!!" I shouted as we locked blades and entered a shoving match. 

"Open!!! Portals!!!" I heard Cry shout as suddenly, dozens of portals began to appear around us. 

"Ayuma, get out of there, now!!!" Cry shouted as I gave one last push to make Rhia stumble back at bit. I then too flight back up and above all the portals as Rhia looked around to them all. 

"I've seen you absorb one element at a time into your body, but can you take in all of them at once!?" Cry shouted as each and every portal fired something out of it. Fire, Lava, Lightning, Water, Boulders, Air, he was using it all.

"Bring it on, child!!!" Rhia screamed as he was bombarded by everything at once. He was engulfed in a monumental explosion which went all the way up into the clouds, blowing them away in the process. I'd honestly be surprised if Rhia survived all that. I then flew down and landed next to Cry who was shaking his right arm a but. I guess making so many portals caused a bit of backlash on his abnormal body part.

"Think that did it?" Cry asked me but before I could give an answer, a huge boulder came flying out of the smoke in front of us and struck him. Cry was sent flying backwards into a pile of rubble and the boulder proceeded to land on his left leg. 

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" He wailed in pain as the boulder crushed his leg beneath it. 

"That should hold you for a little while. Now....." Rhia said as he came walking out of the smoke, looking completely fine. 

"Cry didn't do a single thing to him!? Rhia doesn't even have a scratch!" I thought as I saw Rhia still had his huge black sword in his hands. He brought it above his head and then swung it down at me. It took all of my might just to block his massive blow as the impact sent me sliding backwards on my feet. 

"Weak! Weak! WEAK!!!" Rhia roared as he kept swinging his massive blade at me. Over and over again, he kept on pushing me back until eventually I fell over onto my back and left myself wide open. 

"NOW DIE!!!" Rhia howled as he stepped down onto my arm holding my axe and swung his sword down at me. This was it for me. I was about to die. 

"NO ONE'S DYING TODAY!!! NOT WHILE I STILL BREATH!!!" I heard Cry shout as a huge purple energy beam shot into Rhia's chest and knocked him off of me. I got back up to my feet and I watched as Cry used all his strength to roll the boulder off of his leg. He struggled to stand back up but he eventually did and clenched his right fist tightly, to the point he was starting to crack the diamond. 

"COME HERE, RHIA!!! JUST YOU AND ME!! I'M FINISHING YOU NOW!!!" Cry roared with fire in his eyes as Rhia started walking over to him. 

"Very well, so be it. Axe hero, i'll deal with you in a moment. First, i'll complete my fight with this boy by taking his life!" Rhia said as he extended out his wings and flew for Cry, moving so fast I blinked and missed him. 

"I CAN ASSURE YOU..... THERE'S NO WAY YOU'RE SURVIVING THIS!!! ULTIMATE MOVE: ALMIGHTY SUPERNOVA!!!!" Cry roared at the top of his lungs as an intense white light engulfed his entire right arm. 

"SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN DO!!! DON'T HOLD ANYTHING BACK!!!" Rhia howled in response as he brought his sword to his right side. 

"THIS IS YOUR END!!!" Cry screamed as he thrusted his fist forward, the same moment that Rhia swung his black blade at him. The two collided and the incredible shock wave made by the two of them might as well have shook the planet. It was blown back about 30 feet from where I stood and I had to stop myself by jamming my axe into the earth. With all the dust being blown into my face, it was hard to see who was winning their exchange. 

"I AM A HERO WHO WILL PROTECT ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!! AND I DON'T CARE IF I HAVE TO DIE TO ENSURE THEY'RE SAVED!!!! THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO LIMITS TO HOW FAR I'LL GO!!! AND I'M NOT GOING TO DIE HERE TO SOMEONE LIKE YOU!!!!!!" Cry shouted at the top of his lungs as he made one final push to defeat Rhia. 

"Is that so? Well, before I asked you to step up your game if you wished to best me. But, if this is indeed your best, then you're no better than how you were before!!! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A WORM COMPARED TO ME, BOY!!! NOW FALL!!!" Rhia roared as he reached forward with his lower right arm and grabbed onto Cry's face. The two of them stopped their attacks as Rhia picked Cry up and held him high. Then, with his lower left arm, he grabbed Cry's diamond right arm and extended it out fully. Rhia then used both of his upper arms to bring his sword over him and, with one easy swing, he chopped off Cry's right arm. He made it look so easy, like he was cutting through the wind itself. And, just like that, Cry was practically defenseless. 

"It became obvious to me that this arm of yours was what let you create so many varieties of attacks and creations! So, by removing it, you become no threat me at all!!!" Rhia shouted as he drove Cry into a pile of rubble. He let go of his head and Cry watched as Rhia picked up his diamond arm which laid on the ground. Rhia effortlessly crushed it to pieces in his grip and then sprinkled the remains over Cry who looked on in horror. 

"You've become quite an annoyance to me, boy. So, i'm going to make sure your death is nice and slow!" Rhia said as he planted his sword in the ground next to him. He then raised up his left leg and smashed it into Cry's face. Followed by several punches from all his arms. Again and again, he would strike Cry. I just couldn't watch anymore. I thought that move from Cry would've been enough to put down this demon, but I was quickly proven wrong. And now, I was the only one who could save him.

"HOLD ON, I'M COMING!!!" I screamed as I flew as fast as I could for Rhia. It was clear he heard me as he stopped beating Cry and picked up his sword. He then turned and swung it at me as I did the same with my axe. 

"Black Hellfire Blade!!!" Rhia shouted as his sword became engulfed in black flames. 

"Ice Titan Axe!!" I yelled as my axe changed forms, now dawning light blue blades and ice along the edges. The two of us clashed and it became clear who was this exchange immediately. Rhia knocked me back with his attack and literally blasted the axe off of my axe, reverting it back to its normal form. 

"What!? But how!?" I questioned as Rhia came rushing for me, bearing his sword as I readied to intercept him. But, as I was expecting him to swing his sword again, he for some reason didn't, leaving him wide open for me to strike. 

"This is your finale, demon!!! Perish!!" I shouted as I swung my axe from my right at him. But, Rhia countered by quickly locking blades with me, putting us into a shoving match yet again. 

"Your spirit and compassion is what makes you strong, hero. But, in the face of someone like myself, it means nothing in the heat of battle. And now, your time has reached its limit. You shall be the first hero I kill!!" Rhia roared as I just then noticed he was only holding onto his sword with his two lower arms. He reached for me, grabbing onto my face with his upper right and my right wrist which held my axe with his left. He squuezed my wrist tightly and a loud *CRACK* sound came from it as I screamed in pain. It hurt so much that I opened up my hand and dropped my axe. Rhia then let go of my wrist and picked up my axe, throwing it behind him so I couldn't use it anymore. 

"Without that weapon, you're completely defenseless!!!" Rhia shouted as he lifted me up and then slammed me down against a fallen broken wall. He then grasped my head with both of his upper arms as he used his lower ones to raise up his sword and then thrust it down at me. But, before he could impale me, I caught his sword in between my hands and I tried my absolute hardest to push it back. But, Rhia was so much stronger than me. He was slowly moving his sword down onto me, getting ever so closer to shoving it right through my body. 

"The strongest of the five cardinal heroes, the axe hero, YOU DIE BY MY HAND!!! I, RHIA, DEMON KNIGHT OF THE UNDERWORLD AM VICTORIOUS!!!!" Rhia roared with pride as my axe suddenly came flying into view, slicing off Rhia's right upper arm which made him ease up on me. Rhia screamed in pain as he held his arm wound. Meanwhile, I looked over to my axe which had embedded itself in the ground next to me. But, it was shaking. It broke lose from the earth and then flew past Rhia. 

"No way...." I said in complete awe as I watched my axe fly right into Cry's left hand. 

"He's worthy too....."

-POV: Cry-

After Rhia destroyed my diamond arm and beat the shit out of me, I thought that was going to be it for me. But, Ayuma came in at just the right time to save me. Only, things didn't go so well for her either. Rhia was able to disarm her and he tossed her weapon over to me. And, I watched as he attempted to impale her with his massive sword. Ayuma did everything she could to stop him, but he just kept on pressing down at her, getting closer and closer with every second passing by. 

"Come on.... get up.... you.... are a hero.... so do what.... a hero.... does best..... and don't give up!" I grunted in pain to myself as I used nearly every ounce of strength I had left in me to stand up. My body was too damaged for me to focus enough to make a new right arm, but I could still use my powers a bit. Not like it's going to help me much though considering my strongest attack I had couldn't even beat Rhia. 

"Wait a minute...." I said as I looked down to my left. There laid Ayuma's legendary axe. That was the only thing I knew that could harm this demon. I reached down to pick it up and I instantly felt a huge surge of power flow through me. I didn't know what it meant at first and, honestly, I didn't have time to question. I brought the axe over my head and, without a second thought, I threw it forward at Rhia. The axe spun in the air as it made contact with his upper right arm, tearing it off as he began to wail in agony. But, he relieved his pressure off of Ayuma as he stepped back away with his sword to hold his wound. And then, without me even thinking it, Ayuma's axe started flying back to me. I reached out and caught it with my only hand and Ayuma's face, I could see it was just full of shock.

"A 6TH HERO!? AAAAAAHHHHHHH, YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!! I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU!!!!" Rhia shouted he began to charge me. I did the same as I thought of how I was going to attack him. I can't generate my powers through my organic parts of my body, but if i'm holding this axe, I can generate them through it instead!! I don't know how to use the abilities Ayuma wields, so this is the best I've got!!

"Black Bolt Axe!!" I roared as I generated my black lightning from my hand into the blades of the axe. Me and Rhia neared each other as he brought his huge sword to his right side. And, just as he began to swing it across his body, I dropped to the ground and slid underneath the blade. I then quickly jumped back up to my feet and swung the axe up, slamming the flat end of it against Rhia's jaw and electrocuting him. I sent him flying backwards and he landed hard on his back.

"Amazing....." I heard Ayuma say as I looked over to her and saw her limping over to me. 

"I don't know how, but your axe is giving me strength to keep on fighting. What does that mean?" I asked her. 

"I think..... I think it means that you are also worthy of being one of this world's cardinal heroes. Of being the axe hero, just like me. That's how you were able to call to it and have it come back to your hand." Ayuma explained to me as I looked at the blades of the axe, seeing myself in its reflection. 

"I'm one of the cardinal heroes too?" I questioned as Rhia then stood back up. 

"Mind if I borrow this thing for a bit?" I asked Ayuma as she gave me a stern nod before backing away. 

"SO WHAT IF YOU'RE A CARDINAL HERO TOO!? IT DOESN'T MATTER!! NONE OF YOU ARE A MATCH FOR ME AND I'LL PROVE IT RIGHT NOW!!! AS SOURCE OF THY POWER, I ORDER THEE!! DECIPHER THE LAWS OF DESTRUCTION AND IMBUE MY TARGET WITH THE MIGHT OF THE STRONGEST DARK BLAZE!!! IMMORTAL BLACK LIGHT!!!!" Rhia roared as his sword grew even larger and it burst into a massive black fire. 

"This didn't work before because it came from my own body and self energy. But now, it's time to see if this mighty weapon makes any difference!!! SUPERNOVA AXE!!!" I shouted as I raised the axe up into the air. My veins turned purple and connected to the axe, making its blades brighten with an intense white light. I then brought my weapon down and waited for the right moment to strike. The moment Rhia moves in on me. 

"IT'S TIME YOU BE PUT TO REST FOR ETERNITY, HERO!!! DIE!!!!" Rhia roared as he charged me. I planted my feet on the ground as he approached me. I just stood there and waited for that opening. And, when Rhia stopped mere feet from me to swung his blade down, I struck back. 

"A HERO IS NEVER BESTED BY THE VILLAIN!!! AND YOU'RE NO EXCEPTION, DEMON!!!" I screamed as I swung my axe from below and made contact with his sword. With the power of a literal supernova being channeled through the axe, I effortlessly sliced Rhia's sword in two, breaking off the upper half of it as I caught him way off guard. 

"NO, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!" Rhia shouted as I swung the axe a few more times, each strike chopping off the remainder of his arms. Soon enough, all of his arms were gone as Rhia dropped to his knees in front of me. 

"OH, IT IS!! I MAY NOT HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO BE ONE OF THE HEROES OF THIS WORLD, BUT I KNOW I'M WORTHY OF BEING ONE!!! AND I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT MAKES ME WORTHY RIGHT NOW!!" I shouted as I began to channel my most powerful technique into the axe. It became engulfed in a pitch black aura and the energy coming off of it was staggering. 

"Every hero is said to have their strongest, ultimate move that's unique to them. A move that guarantees victory and will almost certainly defeat any foe. For me, that is my Almighty Supernova. But, when a hero faces a villain who's committed the most horrid crimes imaginable, then sometimes they have no choice. They must unleash their killing move." I said as I brought the axe to my right side, preparing to strike. 

"For threatening genocide on multiple worlds, starting a war for said worlds, and most of all, incapacitating and severely wounding my own mother, you've crossed every line thinkable. And for that, you don't deserve to live. And so, I unleash my killing move on you, Rhia, Demon Knight of the Underworld!!" I roared as the aura began to expand around the axe. 

"This move far outclasses the supernova! It strikes with the reverse polarity of a black hole!! A force more powerful than anything to ever exist!! Now, feel it's wrath!!!" I shouted as I swung the axe into Rhia's chest. I didn't cut him in half or break through him. I made sure the axe stayed in his body. 

"DARK MATTER AXE!!!!" I roared as I began to lift Rhia up into the air on the axe. I then used my quirk to make us fly up into the air. And, before we got too high, I encased my body in a layer of air. 

"You demons chose the wrong worlds to invade!!! And that's because one of them was mine!!! I am a hero in my world, the soon to be number one!!! I'll never lose to anyone ever again!!!!" I roared as we kept going higher, soaring above the clouds now. Pretty soon, we escaped this world's atmosphere and began flying through space. 

"You demons wanted your place in the sun!!! So that's exactly what i'm going to give you!!!! TAKE IT!!!" I shouted as I stopped our flight and removed the axe from Rhia's chest. 

"GO BEYOND!!!!!! PLUS.... ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" I roared at the top of my lungs as I swung the axe at him again with all my might. I slammed its blade right into him and sent him careening across space into the sun. I watched as Rhia entered the sun, his body burning away as he screamed in complete agony.

"Rest in pieces...." I said as I began to float back to the earth. Only, as I reentered the atmosphere, I suddenly lost all my strength and my powers cut out. I began to fall from the sky as I blacked out.

-POV: Ayuma-

After watching an incredible display of power, Cry disappeared with Rhia and my axe, going all the way past the clouds above. He truly made it known just how strong he was with his quirk, and it became clear that he came out on top when I saw him reemerge from the clouds, coming back down to the ground. Only one thing bothered me though. He wasn't flying. He was falling.

"Oh no! He passed out! I've gotta catch him!!" I thought as I spread my wings and took flight into the air. I flew as fast as I could so I could be right underneath Cry to catch him. And, moments before he struck the ground, I swooped in and caught him in my arms. The force of him crashing forced me to the ground though so I flipped over so i'd land on my back and cushion his blow. We both came out alright as I sat there, Cry in my arms and thankfully, still breathing.

"I think...." I heard Cry say as he began to open up his eyes. 

"You think?" I asked him as he tried his best to give me a smile, even though he was in so much pain. 

"I think.... this.... belongs.... to you...." He said to me as he handed me back my axe. 

"Well, thank you. But, I guess it technically belongs to both of us now." I said with a small chuckle as I stood up and helped him back up to his feet. 

"I can't.... use my quirk.... anymore.... used.... too much.... energy...." Cry said to me as I began to take him over to where Krystal and Wendy were. 

"Don't worry. We'll get you fixed up in no time. There's still one more demon we have to face. Their ki-" I began to say as an incredibly loud explosion occurred in an area behind us. I turned us around so we could see and appearing from the smoke was the final demon. King Aidoneus himself, clad in a dark armor, also having the black scaled pattern along his visible body parts, as well as a literal crown embedded into his skull. And, the worst of all, he had one of our allies in his right hand. He was holding Tetsa by her head and she was struggling to break out.

"The last of my children has fallen. But, the same is said for most of your forces. This war has dragged on for far too long. So, let this girl within my grasp spark the finale of our great feud!!" Aidoneus said as he unsheathed a pitch black serrated katana from the sheath to his left. He held it up and prepared to kill Tetsa. 

"ENOUGH!!!" Someone else shouted as Aidoneus lowered his sword for the moment. Then, walking past me and Cry and facing off against the demon king was my own daughter. Neela stood before him, her arms out and prepared to fight.

"The incomplete child. The one who now bears the power of my eldest, Sefira. What brings you to me?" Aidoneus asked her as Neela ignited her claws with black flames. 

"Release my friend! I am your opponent!! You are the reason all this has happened to me!! Why I'm becoming some monstrosity like yourself!!! And I can't take it!!! I just want it to be gone!!!! And  have a feeling that if I kill you, then this curse will cease to exist forever." Neela said as Aidoneus squeezed Tetsa's head tightly before she fainted. He then dropped her as Neela flew up to him, stopping about 30 feet away. 

Meanwhile, me and Cry walked over to Tetsa and I tried my best to sling her onto my shoulders. I began to carry both of them back so they could be healed, but it hurt me turning my back to Neela, especially when she's now facing such an intimidating foe. 

Neela now faced the being behind everything. The one who was behind my demon axe that started all of this. The one her turned her into a demon, the one who opened up the other worlds, and the one who began this war. My daughter, Neela, faces the demon king, Aidoneus. I pray to the very gods within the heavens above that she defeats him.

Alright, this marks the end of the chapter here, but, as promised, I'll now be revealing what my next series is going to be based on!! I've had it requested before so I think it's finally time I take a crack at it. A recent anime that's sparked a phenomenon, and is still talked about to this day. With a beautiful art and animation style, plus a fantastic story, I can't help but not do it. There's no confirmed date as to when i'll be starting it but i'll get to that soon. And, in terms of the title and all that, I haven't thought of that yet either, so stay tuned. My next story is going to be:
