World 3 is a go and things are already going awry. This team's been scattered through time and  that's sure to cause some major problems. I've already decided on how far apart everyone will be, and you'll find out in the next few chapters. I'm sure some of you have already guessed what this world is based off as well. In case you haven't, this world is based on a popular series known as "RWBY." It's made by the channel called RoosterTeeth and it's what my third series was based on, titled "Team DLTA." Drake, Leena, Temair, and Amber are all my main OC's in the story as well. Things will be a bit different from how I set stuff in that series though, so, if you've also read that series, I hope you don't mind the changes. Now, let's pick things up from where we left off! Enjoy!

-POV: Ren-

"So, you claim you've come from an entirely different world from our own to recruit warriors to aid you in a fight against demons who want to destroy your world. Your world possesses magic among other notable qualities, and you say you are one of its five heroes summoned to defend the land. You and the other heroes of your world traveled to other worlds in which these demons have also come to, and the one you so happened to appear in was our own. Am I correct so far?" Professor Ozpin asked me as I gave him a nod. 

"Yes, that's right. I know it's hard to believe, especially after we caused a fight, but we're not your enemies here. Please, you have to release us." I said to him as Drake stepped forward and glared at me. 

"And how can we be sure we can trust you? After all, you just appeared out of nowhere and attacked us. For all we know, you could be working with our own enemies as well." He said as Ozpin silenced him. 

"I understand your concern for your teammates and this school, but you must let me handle this, Drake." Ozpin said to him as Drake backed off. However, Ozpin did take our swords from Leena and inspected them. 

"Both of these weapons..... I can feel immense power in them. Especially yours, Ren. It doesn't feel like traditional aura energy or Dust particles found in our world. I presume these weapons are magical too?" He asked us. 

"Yeah, that's right." I said to him as I became curious of something. 

"This energy you just spoke of. You called it aura and Dust, right?" I asked him as he now nodded to me. 

"Yes, but both are different. Aura is found in every living creature on this planet. And, some creatures such as humans can extend their aura and use abilities know as semblances. A semblance is unique to each and every person. Think of it like someone's own personal superpower." Ozpin explained to us. 

"I see. Then what's this Dust stuff you mentioned?" I asked him. 

"Think of Dust like fuel. It comes in many different types, mainly the four elements, but there are some other types as well. Dust comes in the shapes of crystals which we can use for many different purposes." Ozpin explained as Leena stepped forward and took out an arrow from her quiver on her arm. It was another flat tipped yellow arrow. 

"It's like this. Yellow means electricity, so this arrow is filled with electric Dust. Red is fire, blue is water and ice, green is earth, black is gravity, orange is explosives, cyan is hard-light, and white is dilation and/or wind." She explained as I seemed to understand. 

"And i'm assuming you infused Dust with bullets too? That's how you were able to freeze my hand to the ground earlier." I said as I saw Drake give me a nod.

"You'd be correct about that." He said to me. 

"There's one other thing I want to know. What's this "Faunus," thing you keep calling Raphtalia?" I asked as Temair stepped forward to explain. 

"Think of a Faunus as someone who is half human and half animal. As you can probably tell, Amber is one as she has these fox ears. And, i'm also one. see for yourself." He said as he rolled up his sleeves to reveal some green lizard scales on his forearms. 

"So, just because of my animal features, you had assumed I was also one of these Faunus'. I understand now." Raphtalia said to them. 

"Now, since you're claiming you come from a world that's full to the brim with magic, can you show us some? It would prove you're not lying about some of the information you told us." Amber said as we and Raphtalia each held one hand out to show them. I started making small bolts of lightning in my right hand while Rpahtalia made a small ball of light appear. 

"Fascinating, indeed." Ozpin said as he looked to Drake and gave him a gesture to come over. Drake gave him a nod and then walked over to the door of our cell. He unlocked it and let us out. 

"Wait, are you just letting us go?" Raphtalia asked. 

"Well, to be honest, you two aren't the first of your team to arrive in our world. Five others appeared here about a week ago. They gave the exact same story you two did." Ozpin said to us. 

"Then why did you throw us in this cell and interrogate us? Shouldn't you have known we weren't enemies from the beginning?" I asked him as he took another sip from his mug. 

"We just had to be sure we could trust you and that you weren't spies. Trust is in short supply these days, after all. Now, I believe these belong to you." Ozpin said as he handed us our weapons back. We took them and sheathed them. 

"Sorry about punching you earlier." Amber said to me. 

"Why? We were in a fight. You had full obligation to attack me." I told her. 

"Now then, you said there were five others, right?" I asked as Ozpin nodded. 

"Good. That means everyone else from our team is here. Can you take us to them?" I asked as Drake gave me a nod. 

"Drake and his team will escort you to your friends. Right now, I must go and deal with some recent issues. I'm sure i'll see you and your team again in the near future." Ozpin said as he shook our hands and left.

"Alright. Let's get you two back together with your team. Follow us." Leena said as we all then left the room and headed out into the courtyard. 

"So, I know this place is a school, but what exactly do they teach you here?" I asked out of sheer curiosity because it seems every student carried a weapon on them. 

"This is Beacon academy, one of the four great Huntsman academies in the world." Temair said. 

"What's a Huntsman?" Raphtalia asked. 

"A Huntsman or Huntress is what we're all trying to become here. We learn to craft versatile weapons, hone our semblances, expand our auras, knowledge, training, etc. We spend four years studying here and, upon graduation, we gain a hunters license, granting us the title of either a Huntsman or Huntress." Drake explained as we walked over to the dormitory buildings. 

"What do you do as a Huntsman then?" I asked them. 

"We defend people and kill monsters. Think of us as the protectors who stand ready to defend our land." Amber explained. 

"What kind of monsters?" I asked. 

"Probably the ones I came across when I entered this world. They looked like some sort of bear creature. They had massive black bodies with a white and red skull on their heads, bones sticking out of their bodies and these massive claws." Raphtalia told me. 

"Yeah, that's one kind. Monsters like that are called "The Creatures of Grimm," and each type is as deadly as the last. They're attracted to any kind of negative emotion, so mass outbreaks occur quite often in places where there's a war or even if there's a riot in a city." Drake explained as we entered the first dormitory. 

"These Grimm didn't seem too different from some of the creatures in our world. That means they can be beaten." Raphtalia said as I agreed with her. 

"So those are the monsters, but now, I wanna know more about this place. You said you spend four years training at this academy, right? So, in a sense, this is high school." I asked them as they all nodded. 

"Basically, yeah. On the first day of your first year, four people are put into teams and that's who you train with for the remainder of your time here at Beacon. And, each team is assigned a code name based on the first letter of each members first name. It's a much simpler method than having to remember everyone's names at a time, especially in the middle of a combat situation." Leena explained to us. 

"So then what are you guys called?" I asked them. 

"Our team code is DLTA." Drake said. 

"And, Ozpin mentioned you're one of the top teams here. Who are the others?" Raphtalia asked them. 

"Their codes are Ruby(RWBY) and Juniper(JNPR)." Drake told us. 

"RWBY are the ones who found all your other teammates." Amber said. 

"They're staying in one of our larger empty dorm rooms at the moment. Just at the end of the hall here." Temair said as we arrived at the door. We opened it up and there was the rest of our team.

"Hey, they're here!" Xev said as all five of them walked over and gathered around us. 

"We'll leave you be for the moment. We'll be back in a few minutes." Drake said as he and his team closed the door behind us and left us alone.

"What happened to you two? It's been over a week since we all got here." Sasha from my actual squad asked me. 

"We're not sure. It seems that when we were separated in the portal, it spread us out through time too. I only got here about 2-3 hours ago. Raphtalia landed here yesterday." I explained to them all. 

"We heard a commotion from the courtyard earlier. I assume that was the two of you fighting?" Bitch asked as I gave her a nod. 

"That was me, yes. But that team DLTA was able to beat me and took us both to interrogation." I told everyone. 

"Yeah, the team they call RWBY fought some of us too. And that's only because SOMEONE here had to act all high and mighty and make a scene. Isn't that right?" Xev said, looking right at Bitch. 

"Excuse me? I am a princess and I deserve to be treated with respect." Bitch said to him. 

"Yeah..... no. You may be a princess in Melromarc, but right now, we're in the farthest place from there. As far as anyone's concerned, you're just another average person." I said to her as she sighed and just rolled her eyes.

"So, have any of you found anyone who could be of help to us during the time you've been here?" Raphtalia asked as Tamaki, a swordswoman from Itsuki's party nodded. 

"The headmaster of this academy, Ozpin said he'd lend us some of his students if we aid in one of their upcoming missions." She told us. 

"What exactly do we have to do?" I asked as Team DLTA and two other teams came into the room. One team consisted of four girls, and the other, like DLTA, was 2 boys and 2 girls. 

On the all girl team, one wore a black, red, and white combat dress/skirt, black pants, and black and red boots. She also had dark red and black hair with silver eyes. The next girl has long white hair, white eyes, a blue and white combat skirt/dress, and navy blue shoes. The third was a Faunus, just like Amber and Temair. She had cat ears sticking out of her long black hair, along with yellow eyes, a white jacket over a black top, dark violet coloured pants, and black shoes. And, the last one had extremely long gold hair, purple eyes, a brown jacket with a yellow top underneath, black pants, brown boots, and she had a yellow and black coloured robotic arm on her right side.

The first boy on the other team was tall, medium length blonde hair, blue eyes, he wore a brown hoodie, blue jeans, some gold and white armor, and red shoes. The next boy was also tall, had long black hair with a few pink streaks in it, pink eyes, a green sleeveless tailcoat jacket, white pants, and black shoes. The first girl on their team was shorter, had medium length orange hair, green eyes, a black jacket over a white shirt, a pink skirt, and red shoes. And, the last girl had long red hair in a ponytail, bright green eyes, gold coloured female gladiator style armor over her upper chest, forearms, and knees, and then brown boots. 

"What you'll be doing is helping us on our next mission. It's one that could possibly reshape our world as we know it. And, we're not entirely certain our three teams have enough firepower to see it through." Drake said as he went on to introduce the other two teams. 

"We stand before you as the pinnacle of Beacon. We're the top teams. You've already met us, Team DLTA. Ruby, if you will...." Drake said, looking at the red and black haired girl on the all girl squad. 

"Hey, everyone! My name's Ruby and i'm the leader of team RWBY! And before you ask, yes, that gets confusing. With the white hair is Weiss, the black hair is Blake, and the yellow hair is my half sister, Yang." She explained to us as we shook hands with them all. Then, we turned our attention to the other team, who we now knew was JNPR. 

"My name's Jaune, everyone. The tall guy next to me is Ren. To his left, and with the orange hair and spunky attitude is Nora, and next to her is our ace in the hole, Pyrrha." The blonde haired boy said as we shook hands with them all too.

"We've already met five of you, and it seems the last two were able to make their way here. That's nice to see." Yang said as we agreed. 

"Alright, enough chit chat. Let's get down to business. Weiss, if you would....." Drake asked her as she hit a switch on the wall by the door and turned off the lights. We then heard her hit another switch which opened up a hologram in the centre of the room. We all stood around it as it displayed different news stories and data over a period of time.

"These here are reports that have been coming in since about 2 months ago. And, after some careful analysis, we've determined that they're all linked together." Jaune said as I looked at some of the reports that were listed. 

"Grimm attack in the city of Vale. Grimm attack in forest near town. Grimm invades small town. Grimm threat rising." Are what most of them said. 

"So, most of these are to do with the Grimm, then? How are they linked together?" I asked. 

"Every single eye witness says they saw the exact same thing happen in each attack. A person literally transformed into a Grimm and started attacking people. That's not just something people can do in our world." Blake said. 

"Have you been able to find out how people are turning into these Grimm, then?" Xev asked. 

"Yes and no. Yes, we know how they're turning into Grimm. But no, we don't know where it's all stemming from. It seems people are being exposed to some sort of drug that changes their DNA and turns them into these creatures. They go on a rampage, killing everything in sight. It hurts, knowing that we're putting down something that used to be a human being or a Faunus." Pyrrha said. 

"Do you have any leads then? About where this drug may be coming from?" I asked as Drake nodded. The current holograms disappeared and, in their place, a single one of a person showed up. This person had orange hair as well, a black and red bowler style hat, a white jacket, black pants, black shoes, and a cane.

"This is Roman Torchwick. He's a notorious crime lord in our world. We've fought with him on many occasions but, like a snake, he's always able to slither away. He knows what to expect when we find him." Leena said. 

"And you think this is the guy who's making the drug?" Bitch asked as they all nodded. 

"Take a look at this." Temair said as he pulled up some security footage. It showed this Torchwick guy speaking with another man at a port. We watched as Torchwick handed him a small tube filled with this black substance. After a few minutes, Toorchwick left and the other person injected some of the fluid into his body. The man then changed into a Grimm just like that. He took the form of a tiger Grimm and started ripping up the port. 

"We know Torchwick's the one making and spreading the drug, but what we need to find out is where he's hiding it all." Nora said. 

"And, we think we may have found a clue to figuring out where it's all been stashed." Ruby said as she rewound the video to where Torchwick handed the man the tube. She stopped the video and then zoomed in on the tube. 

"Hang on, let me enhance the image so we can actually see what it says." Weiss said as a holographic keyboard appeared in front of her. She typed in some codes and the zoomed in blurry image cleared up, revealing some numbers on the outside of the tube. 

"10592" It had labeled on it.

"What do those numbers mean?" Raphtalia asked them. 

"A five-digit code like that represent this city's warehouse district. That's where we think Torchwick's hiding with all the drugs." Ren said. 

"Sounds like no better place to hide illegal drugs. When to me start?" I asked. 

"Tonight. All of you are going to be critical in this mission. Torchwick knows what all of us are capable of, but he's never met any of you before. You're the surprise factor and our best chance at finally taking him down and securing these drugs." Drake said as we all seemed to agree. 

"We'll split into three teams. JNPR will create a perimeter around the district, along with some of you. Some of you will go along with RWBY and take down any enemies we come across. And, the ones who come with DLTA will be the srike team. They'll be responsible for finding, securing and stopping Torchwick and those drugs from spreading any further." Leena explained. 

"How do we determine which of us is on each team?" Bitch asked them. 

"We'll do it the old fashioned way, of course." Ruby said as a bad feeling suddenly dawned in me. 

"Don't tell me....." I began to say but I was interrupted by all three team leaders. 

"We're gonna pick which of you is on our teams!" All three of them said, confirming the theory I was about to say.

"I've got first dibs!" Jaune shouted as Ruby made a pouty face. 

"Awwwwwwww...... but I wanted to pick first....." She said as Jaune chuckled. 

"Now then, let's see...... I think i'll go with you first." Jaune said, pointing at Tamaki.

"Me? Oh, um.... okay." She said as she walked over to his team. 

"I'm next!" Ruby said as Drake seemed to allow it. 

"I want her!" Ruby said, pointing at Raphtalia. 

"Alright. I'm happy to work with you." Raphtalia said as she went over to the team. 

"Guess i'm next then. And I want you, Mr. Sword Hero." Drake said as I figured he'd pick me. After all, I single handedly almost beat his entire team.

"Very well. I'm glad to accompany you." I said to him. 

"Back to me then. I'll take the bald girl." Jaune said, pointing to Bitch. 

"Please refrain from calling me that word." She said to him as he laughed. 

"My turn again! Hmm, let's see.... only three left..... I want...... you!" Ruby said, pointing to Sasha. 

"Very well. I'll offer my services to you and your team." She said as she went over to them. 

"Last pick for me. I want the big guy." Drake said, referring to Xev. He came over and shook hands with Drake. 

"You can count on me to be our shield on the battlefield." Xev said as Drake gave him a nod. 

"And that leaves one left. Looks like you're with us." Jaune said to Mithra, the other mage who was part of Motoyasu's normal squad. 

"Actually, it's probably best that your team has the most members, Jaune. That was more of you can spread out and guard the perimeter." Leena said to him. 

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Wouldn't want anyone to get away now, would we?" Jaune said. 

"Alright, we have our teams. Let's go over the plan one more time. Jaune, you and your team cover the perimeter, make sure no one gets in or out unless you're absolutely sure it's us. Got it?" Drake said to him as Jaune gave him a stern nod. 

"Ruby, you and your team come in with us and clear out the hostiles. Make sure no one escapes too. If even one person with one of these Grimm drugs gets away, then it could just spread again in the future." Drake said as Ruby gave him a confident nod. 

"And as for my team, we'll find where they're supplying the drugs, and hopefully, we'll find Torchwick. We'll secure the drugs and take him down. Tonight, we end this." Drake said as we all responded with a stern "Right!"

"Perfect. Now, to the seven of you who're joining us, if you need weapons or even armor, we can supply it to you. Just give the word and we can get you pretty much anything we have here at Beacon." Drake said but Xev was the only one to step forward. 

"Any chance you've got two short-bladed katanas?" He asked as Blake gave him a nod. 

"I'm pretty sure we've got some. I'll show you to the armory." Blake said as she and Xev left to go get his weapons. 

"Well, if he's the only one who needs a weapon, then once they get back, we're heading out. The sun's starting to go down. Darkness is gonna be our friend during this mission. It'll conceal us and allow us to have an easier time infiltrating the target location." Drake said as we all seemed to agree. 

"The importance of this mission is dire. Our entire world depends on us tonight. No matter what, do whatever it takes to succeed. Failure is not an option at all. If we fail, then more people turn into Grimm. And, in turn, more people die. You know your teams. You know your missions. We will succeed." Drake spoke as everyone gave him smiles. 

"Spoken like a real leader, if I do say so myself." I said to him as we gave each other a fist bump. 

Once the sun had set, we were off. All of us took a small aircraft to the target location. It only took us about 10 minutes to fly to, but we stopped about 2 kilometers away so no one would hear us approaching. We walked the rest of the way and, when we got to this warehouse district, we saw it wasn't actually that big. It was just one large building that looked like 4 smaller warehouses welded together. 

"This is the place. Jaune, get your team into position. Cover us in case anything happens." Drake said to him as Jaune shot him a nod. Him and his team, along with our teammates left and climbed up onto some nearby rooftops to get some better angles and vantage points.

"We're in position. Scopes say no one's outside. You're clear to approach the building." Pyrrha said to us through an earpiece. Drake and Ruby took her word and we all followed them until we reached the side of the warehouse. 

"Anyone inside, Drake?" Leena asked him. 

"Wait, how can he tell. The entrance is all the way on the other side of the building and there's no windows around." I asked. 

"Drake's semblance is called "Cognition." It essentially gives him a radar that lets him see others auras within a certain range. So, he always knows where everyone is around him." Amber explained to me. 

"So that's how he was able to dodge without even looking. That's an amazing ability." I thought to myself as Drake creeped around the corner and gestured for us to follow. 

"No on this side. Follow me." He said as we crept along the edge of the building until we finally arrived at the entrance. It was just barely open and Drake used his semblance again to see if anyone was inside. 

"One guard. And he's got a weapon. This is definitely the place. I'll take him." Drake said as he took out an ammo clip from his pocket which held normal bullets. He took out one bullet and then purposely dropped it on the ground, making a tinging-like sound. It seemed to get the guards attention as he walked over and poked his head out to see what made the noise. The instant he stuck his head out, Drake grabbed him and pulled him outside. He had a strong hold on the guys head and neck and he pulled tightly until the guy fainted from the lack of air. 

"I'm leaving this guy here. Jaune, make sure someone keeps an eye on him." Drake said into his own earpiece. 

"Anyone else inside?" Temair asked Drake but he shook his head. 

"Not that I can tell. No one else is within my range. Which means, we're going in. Ren, with me. We'll go in two at a time." Drake said as we both crept right up to the entrance. Drake peered inside and told me the news. 

"There's three guards about 25 feet from the entrance. They're talking to each other for the moment. When all their heads are turned away, that's when we go in." Drake told me as I gave him a nod. He peered inside again and then gave me a thumbs up. 

"Okay, now." He said as we both snuck inside the building and his behind a small pile of boxes. We got a better look at what was going on inside. Crates filled with the Grimm drug were being sent into a shipment container that was on the floor below us. This place had a lower level, and i'm sure their means of transportation was down there too. 

"And there's the sneaky devil himself." Drake said as I saw he was looking across the building and up to a catwalk. There stood Torchwick, overseeing that his drugs were being handled with the upmost care. 

"Hey, be careful with all this stuff! You wouldn't want all of us to become some Grimm now, would you?" We heard him say to one of his goons. 

"Don't let this guy fool you. His silver tongue is his greatest weapon." Drake told me. 

"Don't worry. I've already met people with that kind of power in my own world. I know how to handle them." I told Drake as he gave me a smile and then looked around the room again. No guards were looking so he signaled the next two people to come inside. In came Leena and Ruby and they went to the other side of the building next to us, looking to hide behind some pallets. But, while Leena made it behind them, Ruby accidentally hit an air tank with her elbow and caused it to fall over, making a loud clanging sound fill the building. 

"What the!? Oh, terrific. Nice to see you again, little red. Have you come all alone this time?" We heard Torchwick say to Ruby. 

"Great, he's the nicknaming type of guy." I thought to myself. 

"Not exactly. She's got backup!" Leena said as she revealed herself and drew an arrow for her bow, aiming it at Torchwick. 

"Oooooo, bright eyes is here to, I see. Anyone else? Or just the two of you? No kitty cat? No moose?" Torchwick asked as Drake started clenching his fists. 

"I swear, if he calls me moose one more time, i'm gonna snap his neck." I heard him angrily say as he then let out a sigh. 

"If they've been seen then it's already time to alter the mission. Come on, Ren. Say hi to him." Drake said as we both stood up and revealed ourselves to Torchwick. 

"Hey, moose is here too! But wait, who's the other kid? Lookin' a bit gloomy there, aren't ya?" Torchwick said to me as I unsheathed my sword. 

"Who I am doesn't concern you. Just know that we're here to put a stop to you once and for all." I said to him as he just laughed at my remarks. 

"Oh yeah? You and what army, kiddo?" Torchwick said as Drake signaled for everyone waiting outside to come in. They all did and readied their weapons. 

"Oh...... That army...... and, I see there's some more new faces, too. Dang it, guys, you know i'm terrible with names." Torchwick said. 

"It's over, Torchwick! Surrender the Grimm drug and turn yourself in! It'll be much easier for all of us if you do." Ruby said to him as he slowly shook his head and laughed. 

"Red, red, red...... Now, what kind of con-man, and backstabber would I be if I just gave myself up? So, as kind as your offer is...... I'm gonna decline!" Torchwick shouted as he raised his cane up. A gun barrel opened up in the end of it and a trigger appeared on the grip. He shot a red fireball at us but, Xev stepped forward and held his right hand out. 

"Full Reflect!" He shouted as the air in front of him became fuzzy. When the fireball hit the air, it did a complete 180 and was sent flying back at Torchwick. Torchwick simply stepped to his left and watched as the fireball hit the ceiling of the building. 

"Huh...... You know, that wasn't very nice. Oh boys! Could you please take care of our uninvited guests!?" Torchwick said as, from several doors within the building opened up. Dozens of armed thugs ran in with their own weapons and blocked us off from moving forward.

"Hold them off for me, boys. I'm gonna make sure our package is delivered. Tah-tah, boys and girls! I'm off!" Torchwick said as he jumped off the catwalk and onto the crane system that was lowering the drugs down to the bottom floor. 

"Look alive people. Things just got a whole lot harder. He knows we're here now, but that doesn't change much. We're still gonna take him down. And these guys aren't gonna stop us one bit." Drake said as we all agreed with him. 

"I hope he's right. Because if even one of us screws up on this mission, then that could potentially cost everyone their lives in this world. And, if that were to happen, then that means everyone in our world could lose their lives too." I thought to myself as we all waited for Drake's order. 

"CHARGE!"
