Be honest, how many of you actually predicted that outcome for the fight? Because I say none of you did. Had it planned all along for Ayu to draw with Todoroki. It's honestly way too tough to pick a winner between the two. Now, the big question is which one of them will move on to the semis? I already have that planned out and, I can say you'll find out not in this chapter, but the next one. Now, i'm trying to kill two birds with one stone in this chapter by doing both Krystal's and Alex's fights. Hopefully it doesn't drag on too long, but we'll see. Now, enough talk! Enjoy!

-POV: Krystal-

"And Midoriya lands a huge blow to Krystal! This fight's been pretty dead even so far, but Krystal looks like she's starting to run out of steam! Can she make some miraculous comeback!? Or does Midoriya have this battle all locked up!?" Present Mic announced as I fell to my knees on my side of the arena. I'd been fighting Midoriya for over 10 minutes now, and he was definitely getting the better of our exchanges. 

"His speed..... and power..... it's so.... immense..... I can barely..... keep up...." I said as I felt the sweat drip down my face. My light magic was landing a few hits but compared to the ones Midoriya gave to me, I wasn't doing nearly enough.

"Look, I know i'm training to be a hero and everything, and that obviously means I have to fight from time to time, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it. I can tell you're reaching your limit, so if you don't want to go on anymore, then just say the word. I'll stop for you." Midoriya said to me as I stood back up and took a deep breath. 

"No way! Too much is on the line for me to just quit! No matter how many times you knock me down, i'll always get back up! I may not be a hero the likes that Ayuma and Itsuki are, but I still save people! I'll always win!" I roared with determination as I brought my hands together and moved them to my right side. 

"Krystal looks like she's going to end this right here and now with that same move she used to take down Tokoyami! Let's see if it'll work on the cyan speedster!" Wrath Queen announced as I started pooling my magic into my hands. 

"That attack is incredibly power, so i'll have to close the distance before you can use it! Full Cowl: 30%" Midoriya shouted as his body glowed with that cyan outline again and he took off towards me like a bullet. 

"As source of thy power, I order thee! Decipher the laws of nature and obliterate my target with a light that burns all shadows! Sparkling Heaven Star!!!" I shouted as I thrusted my hands forward and fired a massive beam of golden light at Midoriya. I engulfed him in my attack and, hopefully, it was enough to beat him. 

"Krystal unleashes her super strong attack, but what's this!? It looks like Midoriya's burrowing his way right through it with a drop kick!" Present Mic announced as he was indeed correct. While Midoriya was taking damage, he was still powering through my attack and making his way right to me. 

"A hero must overcome any attack that's thrown at them! I'll endure the pain and push forward to victory!!!" Midoriya cried as he broke through my beam and slammed both of his feet into my chest. He sent me flying along the battlefield and I was just barely able to stay inside the boundary line. I laid on my side in pain. I was sure that last hit from Midoriya cracked some ribs. 

"Like he said..... endure the pain..... and push forward..... to victory!!!!" I roared with passion as I rose back up to my feet. 

"And Krystal gets up yet again! This girl cannot be stopped no matter how hard you hit her! But, with her ace in the hole technique having failed against Midoriya, one wonders what she's going to do next!" Mic announced as I figured that I have no choice now. With all the magic I have left within me, i'm ending this fight now. 

"Hear me, Midoriya! I'm about to unleash my last resort technique against you! I want you to come at me with everything you've got, because that's the only way you're going to stand a chance!" I shouted as his body began to glow an even more intense shade of cyan. 

"I'll oblige to your request, then. Full Cowl: 50%!" Midoriya shouted. 

"Good. This spell I use drains all the magic and mana within me. And, with the powers I obtain from it, I have to make sure I don't kill Midoriya. But, here we go! I lay everything down on the line right now! As source of thy power, I order thee! Decipher the laws of creation and imbue me with the very essence of light itself! Mana Body: Lightspeed Warrior!" I roared as the mana particles within my body began to expand all over. My whole body was becoming encased in light itself, turning me into the element. 

"What the heck happened to Krystal!? I thought Midoriya glowed brightly, but damn! She's looking like the sun down there!!!" Wrath Queen said in amazement as my whole body radiated with magic energy. 

"Just try and touch me now, Midoriya." I said to him as he began to charge me. 

"No matter what you do, i'll still win!" He shouted as he approached me and started swinging his right leg at me. 

"Far too slow now." I said as I began to move. Everything around me began to slow to a crawl, as if time was stopped. I walked around Midoriya and, when I stopped moving, everything sped up again and Midoriya crashed into the floor of the battlefield. 

"Holy crap! Can Krystal teleport now!? I thought she was in front of Midoriya, but now she's behind him! If you were to blink there then you would've missed it!" Mic shouted.

"What? How did..... you do that?" Midoriya questioned as he got back up to his feet. 

"This technique is always a last resort of mine. It uses all the energy within my body at once and it turns me into light. I gain every quality that light possesses. And that means, I can move at the speed of light." I explained as I ran at Midoriya. Everything slowed once again as I approached him and stopped mere inches from his face. Once I stopped, everything sped up once again and Midoriya became shocked that I was so close to him now. 

"IT MEANS YOU LOSE!!!!" I shouted as I thrusted my right arm into his chest. The speed of my punch was so fast that he literally had no time to react at all. I sent Midoriya rocket off the arena, with him crashing into a wall right next to one of the entrance gates. I embedded him into the concrete and the entire crowd went completely silent. 

"WOAH!!!! WHAT A TURN AROUND! KRYSTAL'S DONE IT! SHE'S WON!!!" Mic announced as the crowd suddenly burst into cheers form me.

"Midoriya is out of bounds! Krystal advances to the semi finals!" The official announced as my body turned back to normal. I fell to my knees once again from exhaustion. 

"I hope that.... makes a good statement.... that we're not.... defenseless....." I said as paramedics rushed onto the field to carry away both me and Midoriya to the infirmary.

"It's hard to believe, folks, but one of U.A's big three has been taken down! Honestly, these exchange students are simply incredible, and with what Krystal has just done to defeat Midoriya, i'm not sure if any of our other combatants can stand up to that kind of power! Keep your eyes peeled, everyone, because Krystal has a good shot at taking this whole tournament by storm!" Wrath Queen announced as I sighed with relief. 

"If she's making that kind of a claim..... then I guess it worked. Everyone'll have their eyes on us now. And, if Alex can win in his next fight, then that'll just make everything even greater for us in the end. We're going to back to Melromarc with these students." I thought to myself as me and Midoriya were wheeled into the infirmary. 

-POV: Alex-

"And so it begins. One of U.A's top students has been defeated, and another has tied with Ayuma. If I can feat my next opponent, and Ayuma claims victory in her little contest with Todoroki, then all of U.A's big three will have been knocked out. That's more than just a little statement. I'd say that's enough to prove that we can fight for ourselves." I said to myself as I stood up from my viewing seat and began to head to my entrance gate. 

"Ayuma and Krystal set the bar of what it takes to bring down one of the students who rests at this kind of level. I need to go past my current limits if I want to succeed in my next battle. If I have to...... I may even have to use it. The grand magic spell....." I thought to myself as I arrived at my gate and waited for my name to be called. 

"We're so close to achieving our goal in this world. Just a few more battles to go." I said as I took a deep breath and calmed my nerves. 

"Who could've predicted the outcome of that last battle, folks!? Not me, that's for sure! And honestly, it makes me wonder who'll come out on top in the next fight! Let's bring out our combatants!" Present Mic announced. 

"First up, he tactically was able to defeat Yaoyorozu with ease! All his friends call him the King and i'd say it's safe to see why! The master of metal, the overseer of order, from the country of Austria, it's Alex!!!" Wrath Queen introduced me as I stepped into the arena. 

"And now, for his opponent! He's the unstoppable force every villain should fear! With a quirk that's way too strong for his own good, this guy's rampaged past every opponent he's come across! From the hero course, class 3-A, and one of U.A's big three, he's the conductor of chaos, Katsuki Bakugo!" Present Mic introduced him as he came into the arena. I knew what Bakugo's quirk was from listening to the announcers but this is the first time I've actually laid my eyes on him. He had short-medium length ash blonde hair, red eyes, and a determined smile on his face. 

"I'm gonna utterly destroy you, metal boy." Bakugo said as he took a ready position on his side of the battlefield. 

"We shall see. Don't underestimate me, otherwise you'll be the one getting burned." I said as his smile turned into pure anger. He was focusing all his rage onto me for this fight. 

"It's order vs. chaos! Who's gonna win this one!? Let's find out right now!!! 3.... 2.... 1.... BEGIN!!!!" Wrath Queen screamed into the mic as Bakugo placed his hands behind his body. 

"Here I come, you bastard!" Bakugo roared as he released two explosions from his hands and launched himself forward.

"Your run ends here! I'm claiming victory against you! Silver Shield!!!" I shouted as my ball of silver floated out of my back left pocket and flew in front of me. It expanded into a huge circular shield that Bakugo was about to hit. 

"That won't stop me!" He roared with fury as he shoved one of his hands forward and started unleashing explosion after explosion onto the shield. Little by little, he was starting to put cracks into my shield. 

"His strength is beyond what I imagined! And this is only the base of his quirks potential!" I thought to myself as I tried my best to keep my shield together. 

"If he breaks through, then i'm wide open to an attack! I've got to make some distance between me and Bakugo right now!" I thought as I started making my ball of cobalt float out of my right pocket. 

"Go, Cobalt Eagle!!!" I shouted as my ball morphed into my signature giant metal bird. It let out a metallic screech before taking off into the air and hovering over Bakugo. It swooped down and grabbed onto his shoulders with his talons, getting him off of the shield. 

"Now, fly him out of bounds!" I commanded my eagle as it turned to fly away with him. 

"Don't think some stupid bird is gonna stop me! Your metal is useless against my quirk!" Bakugo roared as he raised his hands up and started firing a multitude of blasts into my eagle. He blew a hole right through its chest and they crash landed on the other side of the battlefield, still inside the boundary line.

"Bakugo shows us all why's he's a relentless force, but Alex proves he's able to fight back with just as much intensity as his opponent! It could go either way, folks! Keep your eyes peeled on this one!" Mic announced as Bakugo began running at me.

"Fight back with the same intensity!? Like hell!!! I'm gonna blow this chump away with this next attack!!" Bakugo shouted as he was coming up on me. 

"Now, Copper Blade!" I shouted as I morphed my ball of copper in my left pocket into a round edged katana. I took a ready position and waited for Bakugo to come within reach.

"Take this!!" Bakugo yelled as he reached forward with his right hand when he got within 6 feet of me. At the same time, I swung my blade at him from above, looking to intercept him. However, at the very last second, Bakugo reached out to his side with his left arm and fired an explosion, redirecting himself so i'd miss my attack. I swung and hit nothing and Bakugo was now within inches of my face with his right hand still in front of me. 

"DIE!!!!" He shouted as he unleashed a point blank explosion right into my face. I was sent flying off to the side of the battlefield but I still had my sword gripped in my hands. I re-positioned my body and then jammed my sword into the concrete to slow my speed. I was able to stay on the battlefield and I got back up. Although, that blast Bakugo hit me with blew apart my glasses, so now my vision was slightly more blurry than normal. 

"Bakugo uses those lightning quick relfexes he's known for to absolutely decimate Alex with one shot! But, Alex remains standing! Is it time for his counterattack!? Or will Bakugo not give him the chance to perform it!?" Wrath Queen shouted as I felt some blood run down the left side of my face. 

"Whether he's trying to be a hero or not, Bakugo's pride and violent nature makes him a prime candidate for a demon to take control over. Someone like him would provide a great aid to the demon's cause, which means, I have an even larger reason to win this fight! He may be trying to become a hero, but by beating him, that increases the chances of him not becoming a villain!" I thought to myself as I put away my copper sword and turned it back into a ball. I then replaced it with my ball of iron and formed it into the shape of boots. I stepped into them and, while this would greatly decrease my movement speed, it would help me withstand Bakugo's explosions exponentially. 

"Alex seems to have made some clunky looking heavy-duty boots to wear! I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of them is but i'm sure he's got something planned!" Mic announced as Bakugo came rushing for me.

"You should've made another shield, idiot! Because that's the only thing that might stop me from blasting you out of this arena!!" Bakugo roared as he launched himself over to me again in the blink of an eye and placed both of his hands in front of me. 

"GO TO HELL!!!!" He howled as he created his greatest and largest explosion yet. Once again, he hit me point blank range and I was engulfed in the massive blast of flames and smoke. 

"And that's that. On to the semis...." Bakugo said as he began to walk away. 

"And Bakugo delivers an amazing shot to Alex that looks like has put him out of commission! And honestly, I think it might have! That blast looked pretty massive and he was already so close to the boundary line! I think this match might be over already!" Mic announced in disbelief. 

"Where do you think you're going!? I'm not done yet, so turn around and fight me!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as Bakugo turned around with a face full of shock. He saw me emerge from the cloud of smoke, not having move a single inch. He had blasted off the upper portion of my training jacket and caused a few more parts of my body to start bleeding, but he didn't move me back at all. 

"How in the world....?" Bakugo began to ask as I started marching over to him. 

"I knew if I made another shield that you'd find some way around its defense, so I thought outside of the box and used something more simple to decrease the impact of your blasts. These boots I made are solid, heavy iron. They've planted me into the ground." I explained as Bakugo gave me an intense smile. 

"Good. Maybe this fight won't be so boring, after all!" Bakugo shouted as he started running at me again. I kept on marching towards him without hesitation and I waited for him to hit me again. 

"DIE, YOU SCUM!!!" He shouted as he threw his left hand at me and fired an explosion right into my chest. I felt the pain and it hurt like hell but thanks to my iron boots, I stood my ground and didn't move back at all. 

"I was hoping you'd do that!" I shouted as I grabbed Bakugo's left wrist and pulled on it. He stumbled forward and that allowed me to deliver a strong punch to his chest with my free hand. He slumped over a bit in pain and that let me get an even greater shot on him. 

"Let's see what happens when I hit you with this!" I roared as I slowly raised one of my legs up into the air and brought it down right onto his head. I flattened Bakugo down onto the floor of the battlefield and the crowd went silent. 

"OH MY GOODNESS! ALEX WITHSTANDS BAKUGO'S EXPLOSIONS AND DELIVERS ONE HECK OF A BLOW RIGHT TO HIS HEAD!!! DID THAT DO IT!? IS THE RAGING HOTHEAD DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!??" Present Mic announced with utter shock in his voice. However, as much as i'd like to say it was over, Bakugo was far from finished. 

"I'll admit..... that one hurt...." He said as he pushed my boot off of his head and stood up in front of me. 

"What the hell.... is keeping you going.....?" Bakugo said to me as he spit up some blood. 

"My drive to protect the people of my home country." I said to him as I now became curious. 

"And what exactly is keeping you going? Surely it can't be solely on your reason to become a hero." I asked him as he let out a heavy sigh. 

"I want to meet Cry in this tournament again. He's the only person who's ever beaten me before, and i'd like to even the score." Bakugo explained to me. 

"Assuming Cry wins the next match and advances." I said as Bakugo shook his head. 

"He will. Believe me, no one here stands a chance against him. That quirk he possesses, it's an unmatched force. It can perfectly counter anything that's thrown at him." Bakugo explained to me. 

"If it can counter anything then how do you expect to defeat him?" I asked Bakugo as he put his head down. 

"I don't know. Even if someone has a truly amazing quirk themselves, it just doesn't matter. The gap between him and the rest of us is simply too large for us to catch up. We can't stop him and his quirk. And neither can you or your friends. But even so, i'm going to win this fight and find someway to finally take him down." Bakugo said to me with confidence as I gave him a smile. 

"For someone who acts so high and mighty and full of pride, it's also nice to see you have a heart. And, I respect that, Bakugo. But, as sad as this may sound, i'm going to be the one to win this fight. And, if Cry advances as well, then I will defeat him in the next round. There's something I've been keeping to myself this entire time, and, if he's as good as you say he is, then I may just have to unleash it to win against him." I told Bakugo as he turned his back and walked over to his side of the battlefield. 

"So, you have some sort of hidden power that you claim is strong enough to beat Cry?" Bakugo asked as he turned around to face me. 

"Yes, I do have said power." I replied as he cracked his knuckles. 

"Then prove that you can beat me without having to use it! Because, if you have to resort to unleashing it before facing him, then you'll stand no chance when you fight him!" Bakugo shouted as he shot himself over to me with an explosion. 

"I promise you, I won't need it! Now, bring it on!" I roared with determination as I began charging Bakugo as well.

"Ultimate Move: AP Shot!!" Bakugo shouted as he made a circle with two fingers on his left hand and placed it in the palm of his right. From that circle, he fired a condensed explosion at me like a beam that struck me right in the chest. This blast was much more powerful than normal and it actually sent me sliding back a few feet. But, I stayed standing and kept on moving towards Bakugo.

"Again! And again! And again!" Bakugo shouted as he hit me with multiple of those same attacks. He was slowly pushing me back to the boundary line. 

"If he keeps this up then he'll knock me out very soon! I have to find some way to withstand these blasts of his!" I thought to myself as I remembered back to Ayuma's battle with Kirishima. Kirishima turned his whole body into what was essentially a wall that no attack could break through. 

"Do it just like he did! Become a wall! A wall that's indestructible!" I roared as all my metals came flying out of my pockets and merged with my body. 

"As source of thy power, I order thee! Decipher the laws of nature and grant me the power to withstand any blow! Shining Knight!" I roared as my metals had come together to cover me in a suit of armor. 

"That armor's not gonna save you against another one of my AP Shots!" Bakugo yelled as he fired another condensed explosion at me. It struck me right in my chest but it bounced off and exploded right above me. 

"What the!?" Bakugo questioned in surprise. 

"This armor contains several different types of metals, all of which can take the force of your attacks head on. Copper, silver, gold, iron, cobalt, titanium, and even tungsten. All of them have combined to my body and now, i'm unstoppable. You may be an unstoppable force, but can you best an immovable object?" I asked Bakugo as he stepped back a few feet. 

"Let's find out. I'm about to give you everything. My strongest attack!" Bakugo shouted as he launched himself high into the air. He then used more explosions to fire himself down at me at an angle, then using more and more explosions to spin his body until he looked like an enormous fireball. 

"ULTIMATE MOVE: HOWITZER IMPACT!!!!!" Bakugo roared as he drove himself into me. 

"I WON'T LOSE!!! I'LL STOP ANYTHING YOU THROW AT ME!!! I'LL WIN AND FACE CRY, AND I'LL BEAT HIM TOO!!!!!" I roared as I met him with a punch which held all my might in it. Bakugo's attack resulted in a monstrous explosion that filled the arena with smoke, however, it did not push me back. I held my ground and drove my metal fist into his face. I forced it down and embedded his head into the concrete floor of the battlefield. The punch was so strong that it ripped up a bit of wind afterwards which blew away the smoke. 

"I'll be victorious.... now..... and against Cry..... no one's..... unbeatable...." I said as the official came onto the battlefield to inspect Bakugo. 

"Bakugo has been KO'd! The winner is Alex! He advances to the semi finals!" The official announced into his microphone as the entire crowd went crazy. 

"HE DID IT! ALEX, THE KING, HAS DEFEATED BAKUGO!!! ANOTHER ONE OF U.A'S BIG THREE IS DOWN!!! THIS IS TRULY UNBELIEVABLE!! NEVER IN ALL MY YEARS OF TEACHING WOULD I HAVE THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN!!! LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THESE EXCHANGE STUDENTS HAVE COME TO COMPETE AND THEY'VE COME TO WIN!!!!" Present Mic roared with insanity as Bakugo suddenly came to. I removed my armor by turning all the metals back into balls and then I offered him a hand up. 

"Thanks.... I guess...." He said as he took my hand. He stood up and then gave me a light punch on my right shoulder. 

"Cry will definitely win his next match. And, when you face him in the semis, you'd better not lose. That would just make me look weak." Bakugo said as he walked away and left the arena. 

"I promise I won't let you down, Bakugo. Even with the power to warp reality, it doesn't compare to the might of creation." I thought to myself as I went to the infirmary to have my wounds treated. 

When I arrived, Krystal had just been fully healed up and came running over to hug me. 

"Hey, I heard you won your match, too! Congratulations!" She said as I hugged her back. 

"Thanks, but that Bakugo really put up one heck of a fight. As you can see, it left me with quite the mangled body." I said, gesturing to all my wounds and bloody body parts. 

"Nah, you can walk all that off." Krystal jokingly said. 

"How's Ayuma doing?" I asked as she took me over to her medical bed. 

"Ayuma and Todoroki are still unconscious from their fight. The nurse healed them both but she doesn't know when either of them will wake up. And, we're running out of time. There's only one more match before the semi finals and it's just started." Krystal said as I became worried just like she did. 

"I understand. Please, Ayuma, you have to wake up soon! We need you to be the one to advance to the semis!" I said as Bakugo came walking into the infirmary. 

"Hey, it's your opponent." Krystal said as I turned around to see him right in my face. 

"Uh, what're you doing here?" I asked him. 

"What does it look like? I came to get my injuries healed, obviously. Jeez, I thought you were supposed to be smart?" Bakugo said as he just let out a sigh and went over to sit in an empty bed. 

"Actually, I came to talk to your friend here as well." Bakugo said as he pointed to Krystal. 

"Alex here will almost 100% have to face Cry in his next match. He claims he's got something up his sleeve to beat him, but i'm not sure it can. And, if that comes to fruition, then that means you or one of these two sleepyheads will be the one to face him in the finals. From what I've seen, out of the three of you, you're the only one who may stand even a fraction of a chance against his reality quirk. That last move you pulled to beat Deku(Midoriya), it honestly was impressive. That kind of speed could avoid Cry's abilities and maybe even knock him out of the arena." Bakugo said as the nurse came out and started treating his injuries. 

"But if it doesn't work, then that's it for me. I have to use every ounce of energy within my body to perform that technique, and it only lasts so long. If he can figure out a way to counter it, then I've lost." Krystal said as Bakugo put his head down. 

"And that's the big problem. With the power to bend reality to his will, he's able to counter anything. He can snuff out and melt Todoroki's fire and ice. He can overpower and overwhelm your eyepatch friend. He'll shatter and demolish any metal you try and stop him with. And, he'll defuse all your light by creating darkness. He's got an answer for all of it." Bakugo explained as we heard the crowd outside go crazy again. 

"And that's it! Cry defeats Tetsutetsu and advances to the semi finals to face Alex! And let me tell you, that's one you won't want to miss a single second of!" We heard Present Mic announce as Bakugo sighed again. 

"I told you so. Which means, this trump card you mentioned to me before better do the trick. And if it doesn't, then we've all lost." Bakugo said as he went to lay down in his bed. 

"I can assure you, it can. I've faced one of the most terrifying creatures ever to exist in my home country, and this power was able to match its strength ten-fold! I will defeat Cry, I promise you that!" I said to Bakugo full of confidence as he gave me a small smile before rolling over onto his left side to face away from me. 

"We'll see...." He said to me. 

"Alright, folks! We're just gonna do a quick check up on Ayuma and Todoroki to see if they can compete in their contest! And if they can, then we'll have them come out in a few minutes! So, sit tight and wait a few minutes because the actions gonna continue very, very soon!" Wrath Queen announced.

Whether Ayuma woke up now or not, it was clear that we've made our mark in this tournament. Defeating two, and possibly even all three members of U.A's big three has made it clear that we can fight and what we're fighting for. But, Bakugo's warning is something that's truly haunting all of us now. If Todoroki doens't wake up and compete, then he's the only student left for us to defeat. But, if what Bakugo claims is true, then he may be too much for any of us. Even with my grand magic spell, will it be enough? Or will he crush us just like he's done to everyone else? Either way, he's my next opponent. I have to defeat him no matter what.
