The demon axe has been used, and like the curse shield, it brings some awesome but uncontrollable powers. Having that last chapter be told from Neela's perspective made the most sense seeing as it gave the best option for describing what was happening to Ayu and her battle with the dragon and Naofumi. And now, like Raphtalia, she is down and out. We'll be switching pov's again for this chapter, back to Ayu. This chapter will also bring a special surprise for all of you. In case you can't tell by the image above, we meet a certain special character. And there just might be more to meeting her than what you already know. We'll see though. Enjoy!

-PoV: Ayuma-

I can't remember much of what happened during our battle with the zombie dragon. All I know is that what me and Naofumi did to defeat it came with dire consequences. 

When I saw Filo get swallowed by the dragon, I have no idea what came over me. It was like all emotions other than hate were removed from my body. A strange force appeared before me in a vision and asked me if I wanted to use "that" power. I felt like I had no control as I agreed to the offer. Everything after that, it was all black to me. 

Whatever occurred, the dragon was dealt with but some of our friends were heavily injured. Raphtali and Neela most of all. They lied unconscious when I snapped out of it and we rushed them back to the village where their injuries were treated. Raphtalia woke up first and explained what she saw happen to us. She says me and Naofumi unleashed weapons she didn't know we had. 

She was attacked by Naofumi and I attacked Neela, but she says we were both out of control. It's just horrifying to think about what we did. I almost took the life of someone I care so much for. And even now, Neela hasn't awoken. The nurse from the village treated them and told us the news of what's going to happen. Raphtalia was inflicted with a type of curse magic. If it's not treated with holy water, then she'll slowly wither away and die. And, as for Neela, she was inflicted with death magic. Now, that doesn't mean she's dead now but if she isn't treated with holy light, then she'll die within 3 days, staying in this sleep forever. 

It breaks my heart to know I did such a horrible thing to my closest companion. I tried removing the demon axe from my inventory and upgrade tree but every time I did, it would just appear again. It was here to stay, whether I liked it or not. I guess all I could do was not be swayed to use it ever again.

When Raphtalia was healed enough, we set out again for our next destination. We were headed back to Melromarc to see if we could get Raphtalia and Neela what they needed to be cured. The village doctor offered us a payment for destroying the dragon but Naofumi refused it like before when the other village was overrun by vines. It was his way of helping them out. 

We were currently descending down the mountains, with only a few monsters getting in our way. Me and Naofumi took care of them but Raphtalia insisted she helped us. She ran out of stamina quickly though so Naofumi ordered Filo to get her out and back to the carriage. Raphtalia would have to stay in the carriage most of the time and look after Neela. But it's what was best so she didn't get in any worse condition. 

And after making it down the mountain, we entered a forest that didn't have a lot of monsters, to our surprise. We took a quick break because we were all tired from traveling and we were running low on water. Me, Naofumi, Filo, and Raphtalia went to find a river while Seamus stayed behind to look after Neela. 

However, on our way, we passed by a rather large field with something strange in it. There were a bunch of Filolial's, the same species as Filo, but they were in their long-necked stage. But they weren't what was strange. There were two people in the mix of Filolial's. One was a little girl with cobalt blue hair, and wearing a blue and white dress. She was feeding the filolial's. The other was a boy, definitely older than the girl. He was standing a little outside the crowd of Filolial's and he wore a green suit with black pants, and he had medium length blonde hair and glasses on. 

"Are those.... people?" Filo questioned as she took a step closer. But she stepped on a stick and snapped it, alerting the Filolial's. They all stood up and ran off deeper into the forest, nearly trampling the little girl in the centre of them. But this gave us a better look at the two people. 

"Yeah.... they're humans, alright." Naofumi said as we all walked a little closer. 

"Those birds looked yummy." Filo said, licking her lips. 

"Uh, Filo, you do know those birds are the same species as you, right?" I asked her as she just looked confused at my question. 

"The same.... as me?" She questioned as I just sighed and put my head down, knowing it was hopeless so long as she had food on the mind. 

"....Come on, Melty. You've had your fun but we really must be going now." I heard the boy say as I turned back to face the two. They got back together and were about to leave but the little girl noticed us standing nearby. Her eyes seemed locked on Filo who was in her bird form. 

"So big.... Are you really and truly a Filolial?" She asked as she walked up to us, stopping about 10 feet away. 

"Do you mean me?" Filo asked. 

"And you can actually talk as well!?" The little girl asked, sounding baffled as Filo gave her a nod. 

"I've always dreamed of talking with a Filolial and here I am doing it!" The girl said as Filo took a step back, seemingly weirded out a bit. 

"Oh.... here, this is for you." The girl said as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small strip of meat.

"Oh, thank you!" Filo said as she stepped forward and took the meat away, swallowing it instantly. The girl then took the opportunity to pet Filo's feathers. 

"Oh.... so soft, too!" The girl said as the other boy came up behind her. 

"Please, we must get back. Father will be very displeased with us if we're late." He said to the girl. 

"Do you think these two are from the village?" Raphtalia asked. 

"I don't think so. Just look at the way they're dressed. They're definitely from somewhere with a richer community." I said as everyone agreed with me. 

"Oh, quiet, big brother. You always have to ruin my fun. Anyway, what's your name?" The girl asked. 

"I'm Filo." She replied. 

"Filo's a great name! I'm Melty! Nice to meet you!" The girl said. 

"That's great, i'll call you Mel." Filo said to her as her older brother sighed, shook his head and then took out an old watch from his pocket. 

"One of these days.... I swear it's my little sister's job to make us late whenever we go out." He mumbled to himself. 

"Hey, Filo! Don't forget, we came here to find water. But in the meantime, I guess you can play with this girl." Naofumi said to her as the older brother gave him a glare. 

"You mean it!? Oh boy!" Filo shouted as she changed into her child form. 

"WOW! Can you really transform whenever you want to!?" Melty asked. 

"Sure I can!" Filo responded. 

"They certainly took a liking to each other quickly." Raphtalia said. 

"Good, cause Filo needs to spend time with other kids." Naofumi said as we were approached by the older brother. 

"Pleased to make your acquaintance. My name is Alexander. You can call me Alex for short. My little sister over there who's delaying us is called Melty. We were traveling through this region after dealing with negotiations with a nearby village when we happened to get a little lost. Tell me, if we direct you to the nearest source of clean drinking water, will you let us accompany you? Our father is a wealthy nobleman, he will pay you handsomely for our safe return." He said to us as I just looked to Naofumi. 

"I think I've done enough leading lately. I'll let you take this one." He said to me as I gave him a nod. 

"Alright then. Alex, you have yourself a deal. Just don't mind the drunk man in the carriage and please, don't touch the sleeping woman." I explained as Alex gave me a curious look. But he just shrugged his shoulders and gave a look that read "whatever" all over it. He directed us to a nearby river and we refilled all of our canteens before returning to Filo and Melty. Alex informed his sister that they were going to go with us and Melty seemed ecstatic about it. We all piled into the carriage and took off as the sun was just starting to go down. I told Seamus to sit far way from the two and to not touch them. 

"We've got a few stops along the way. We're traveling merchants who'r carrying medicine. We're going all the way to Melromarc." I explained as the two seemed interested. 

"Melromarc, you say? That couldn't be any more perfect. Our father resides in the kingdom." Alex explained. 

"I guess you two have some good luck then. I hope you don't mind though because with the stops along the way, we'll have to stay overnight." I explained. 

"*Sigh* If we must, then we have no choice. Better to stay indoors during the night than wander in the darkness with who knows whatever's out there. But, I must say that our father may not be pleased that we arrive a day later than scheduled." Alex explained. 

"Wouldn't really expect anything less of a nobleman, always thinking about themselves or their money..." I said under my breath. 

"What was that?" Alex questioned. 

"Oh, uh, nothing. Just ignore me." I said, smiling at him. He looked at me curiously with a bit of a glare as he turned his head way to look out the front of the carriage. We were arriving at the next village. 

The villagers were so pleased that we came. They were affected by the deadly plague from the zombie dragon but since they were at the base of the mountain, it wasn't as extreme. We gave them a portion of our medicine with each of us treating patients ourselves. 

After a couple hours, we had treated every patient in the village. They weren't fully cured but it was enough for them to take care of themselves. Me and Naofumi moved on to treating Raphtalia and Neela. Naofumi was putting new bandages over Raphtalia's arms. It looked like a mixture of bruises and severe burns were all over her body. And as for Neela, her skin was a pale white and her veins were black in colour. We were running out of time, and fast. 

Naofumi decided it would be best for us to keep moving until the sun went down. It was only just beginning to set so we had a little over an hour to make up some more ground. We set up camp a few kilometers from the village when we felt we went far enough. There was a river nearby too and we were lucky because there seemed to be some kind of fish species running through it. We caught a nice haul for our dinner. 

"Do you seriously expect us to eat those filthy looking fish?" Alex said to me as I was preparing to cook them up for everyone. 

"Excuse me? What, are you not a fan of fish? Or are you allergic?" I asked him. 

"As a matter of fact, I find them disgusting." He said to me as we just glared to each other. 

"Well, Mr. "Tasteless," I happen to be an amazing cook. So, shut up and let me prep your dinner. It's all we have so, unless you wanna starve, I suggest you keep your mouth shut and eat the damn fish." I said as I prepped the dishes and cooked up our dinner. 

In no time, dinner was distributed. Everyone chowed down on their fish, even Melty who seemed to find it delicious. I then looked to Alex who looked like he wanted to throw up. 

"Just take a bite, you big baby. I'm an excellent cook, and that's not self-proclaimed. I'm top of my class in school. I can make anything taste good." I said as I ate a piece of my fish. 

Mr. "Eww, fish is gross," gave me another look but finally sucked it up and took a bite. He chewed it for a while before swallowing. I saw his eyes light up for a moment before he started coughing. 

"Jeez, you didn't have that big of a piece. I don't see how you can choke on it." I said as he turned his head away from me. 

"I'm not choking. It's just that I don't like it." Alex said as I noticed he was blushing. He enjoyed it. 

"Is that so? Alright then, i'll just give your dinner to Filo then." I said as I went to take his dish away. But he pulled it away from me before I could take it. 

"Did I say I wasn't going to finish it? I think not, so take your hands away." Alex said as I just sighed and backed off. As much as a prick he's being, he's enjoying my cooking and that's enough for me to tolerate him. His little sister on the other hand, a god damn angel. So sweet, so kind, so adorable.

The sun finally set after we finished dinner so we all went to bed for the night. I slept in the carriage with Neela while everyone else slept outside next to the campfire. I just couldn't fall asleep though. I couldn't stop thinking about Neela. I just wanted to heal her. I don't know what i'd do if she died because of something I did. 

"....Where's Mel?" I heard Raphtalia say. I crawled out from under my blanket and poked my head out of the carriage. Everyone was asleep except for Naofumi and Raphtalia who were sitting on a log by the fire. I looked around for Melty but like Raphtalia said, she was gone. I got out and stood next to the two of them as we wondered where she went. But, almost at the same time, we spotted Melty's clothes next to Filo who was sleeping in her bird form. 

"You don't think...." Raphtalia began to say as we all walked up to Filo. 

"Uh-uh, there's no way." Naofumi said in disbelief. 

"I... I can't believe that Filo..." I started to say but I was too baffled to say any more. 

"Well, she did say that even her own kind looked yummy. .....Raphtalia.... Ayuma..... We saw nothing, okay?" Naofumi said as we both looked to him. 

"Wha!? What're you saying?" Raphtalia asked.

"If we destroy the evidence..." Naofumi began to suggest. 

"You can't be serious?" I said. 

"What? You think it's better for us to confess to her brother that Filo ate his little sister and some nobleman's daughter?" Naofumi asked as Filo began to wake up. 

"Is something wrong, master?" She asked. 

"Filo, what have you done with Mel?" Raphtalia asked. 

"What do you mean? She's sleeping in my feathers, she had been all night long. Time to wake up, Mel." Filo said as she waved her left wing up and down. And then, poking their head out was Mel.... who was naked. 

"What's the matter?" She asked us. 

"Um... what're you doing?" I asked her. 

"Filo's feathers are so soft and comfortable, I couldn't resist going to sleep in them." Melty explained. 

"So you took off your clothes?" Naofumi asked her. 

Mmm-hmm...." Melty said while nodding. 

"But how'd you get in there?" Raphtalia asked as she placed her hand on Filo's wing. Her hand sank deep into the feathers as she began to fall asleep on the spot. 

"Unbelievable.... It's so... nice and warm...." Raphtalia said as she dozed off, leaning against Filo's feathers. Filo and Melty also seemed to drift off to sleep.

"Huh.... this has been.... strange." I said as Naofumi agreed with me. 

"Her feathers must have some sort of sleep inducing magic." Naofumi suggested. 

"I think you're right. In fact, I think I might join them. I can't seem to get any sleep.... my... self...." I said as I sank into Filo's feathers as well, whisking away into a deep, deep slumber.

The next day, after taking care of the villagers at our next stop, we finally arrived in Melromarc. Although, none of us were really too excited. The only ones who were happy were Melty and Alex. And Filo but when is she never happy? We parked the carriage near a back ally for the time being. It was well covered by some buildings so there was little chance anyone would try to steal anything or harm Neela. Regardless, I ordered Seamus to stay with her until we returned. 

"Master, is it okay if I take Mel and her brother home?" Filo asked. 

"Fine, but don't forget to collect the reward." Naofumi said. 

"Well then, we really can't thank you all enough." Melty said as she bowed to us. 

"Yes, we graciously thank you for taking us to the kingdom. I wish you all luck in your future travels. Now then, we'll take our leave." Alex said as he, Melty, and Filo walked off. 

"I think we'll miss them." Raphtalia suggested as I agreed with her. Well, for the most part. Maybe not Mr. Grumpy pants.

"I'm sure we'll see them again." Naofumi said as I agreed. 

"Now then, I think it's time we find a way to treat you and Neela." I said as the three of us headed off into the streets of the kingdom. Our destination was the church. It was the only place where we could find both holy water and holy light. I felt so relieved, knowing that Neela was going to be alright. 

When we got to the church, I noticed something odd about it. All of the 5 cardinal hero weapons could be seen on the outside except for the shield for some reason. It striked me curious but we didn't have time to sit around and wonder. We went inside and Everyone who was inside seemed to recognize us and started whispering. And then, the pope appeared. I recognized him from the night I fought Motoyasu. He was one of the spectators there. 

"If it isn't the shield and axe heroes. Welcome to our humble church, my children. I saw that magnificent duel at the royal palace. I must say, the way you fought, it was both ferocious and beautiful, you made a profound impression on me, axe hero. And you, shield hero, I've received word of your medicine making skills. It seems you have a special talent for it. Such noble work." The pope said as I thanked him. 

"Spare us the pleasantries. We need the most powerful holy water and holy light you have to get rid of a curse and a death spell." Naofumi said. 

"Holy water and light, you say? Is that it?" The pope asked. 

"Yes, it is." I said to him. 

"Done. But they will need an offering." The pope said. 

"And what'll that be?" Naofumi asked. 

"If you want the most powerful ones, it'll cost you one gold coin for each." The pope explained as I reached into a satchel on my side. 

"That's fine by me. Here you go, two gold coins." I said as I handed him the payment. 

"You know, I could've payed for the holy water." Naofumi said. 

"Consider it me paying you back for lending me money at the start of our adventures." I said as he cracked a smile. A servant to the pope brought us what we came for. A small vial containing holy water and a gold sphere that contained holy light. Naofumi took the holy water and seemed to examine it. 

"You want a gold coin for that?" He asked as I activated my staus magic to analyze the vial. It was labeled "Cheap holy water(Crude)."

"For what reason did you bring the low quality item, my dear? God is equally compassionate to all. If you did this to satisfy your personal beliefs, then you must repent. I hope I have made myself clear." The pope said to her as I then analyzed the holy light she brought out. It was labeled "True holy light(Purity)."

"Well, at least you brought one of the items we requested." I said as I took the sphere and placed it in my satchel. 

"I'm terribly sorry, sir." The servant said as she left to retrieve the correct holy water. 

"I apologize for my disciple." The pope said as he put his head down in shame. 

'No problem, as long as I get my moneys worth." Naofumi said to him. 

"I'm thankful for your understanding." The pope said as his servant returned. Naofumi and I analyzed this new vial. It was labeled "Curse-dispelling holy water(Pure)."

"That oughta do it. Now, let's go." Naofumi said as we all began to leave. 

"God will faithfully show us the way to go. Be grateful for his guidance. Everything we have is given by god's grace, never forget that." The pope said as we took his kind words and left. 

"Well that was patronizing." Naofumi said as we stopped at the bottom of the steps to the church. 

"Um... master Naofumi...." Raphtalia began to say as she pointed to our left. We looked and saw a royal knight running towards us. 

"Shield hero! Axe hero!" He yelled to us. He looked a little young compared to all the other knights i'd seen to this point. 

"Oh great. Start running." Naofumi said as he grabbed Rpahtalia's arm and ran away from the knight. I followed and we ran down numerous alleyways. 

"But, why are we running?" Raphtalia questioned. 

"What else can we do? He's coming for us." Naofumi said as we stopped momentarily to see if he was still following us. Sure enough, the kid was still there. 

"Boy, what a pest. This way." Naofumi said as we ran down a narrower alley that was pretty dark.

"I think he's after me and Ayuma, so it may be best we split up, that way he can't catch both of us at once. Raphtalia, you go find Filo. We'll meet back at the carriage." He said as we both nodded in agreement. We all then split up, Naofumi getting the attention of the knight so he would follow him. 

I ran down many more alleyways before I finally came to a market. Unfortunately, Naofumi seemed to have the same idea as me as I bumped into him there.

"What the heck are you doing here? I thought I said to split up!?" He said. 

"I did! I went a completely different direction than you did! I thought I could get away by going into this busy looking market and it just so happens that you had the same idea that I did." I said as I looked behind him. I couldn't see the knight anywhere so he must've lost him. 

"NAOFUMI!!!!" We heard someone shout as we both looked to my left, Naofumi's right. Leaping over to us was Motoyasu himself, swinging his spear at us. We both jumped back as he struck the ground where we were standing. 

"You're attacking us in the middle of the street? What's wrong with you!?" Naofumi angrily asked him. 

"Shut your face!" Motoyasu yelled as he swung his spear at Naofumi again. Naofumi ducked underneath, avoiding the attack fairly easily. 

"Where is that slave girl!? Free her now!" Motoyasu demanded as he charged Naofumi. But I took out my axe and ran in between them. I locked blades with Motoyasu and I shoved him away. I kept my eyes on him at all times, giving him an incredibly intimidating glare. 

"You're a real pain, you know! Raphtalia isn't-" Naofumi began to say but Motoyasu interrupted him. 

"I'm not talking about Raphtalia! I'm talking about the little blonde girl with wings on her back. I saw her with you so don't lie to me." He said as I just let out a sigh because he was as stupid as ever. 

"Wait, Filo?" Naofumi questioned. 

"Filo's her name! How can you make her your slave!? I've never seen a girl that perfect. She's incredible. It's hard to believe there's a girl who's just like Freyon from "Hell World.""Motoyasu said as me and Naofumi just looked at him all confused. 

"Actually, I have a thing for angels." Motoyasu said. 

"We don't really care." I said to him. 

"My heart has been in overdrive ever since I got my first look at that wonderful face. I love other worlds! And I love that beautiful blonde angel! But, first I have to take care of something. And that's taking you down and freeing your other that blonde slave girl! Air strike javelin!" Motoyasu said as the blade of his spear began to glow red and produce wind. He then threw it at us and I deflected it easily. He caught his spear though and readied himself to attack again. 

"Listen, you jackass, Filo is not a slave. She hatc-" I tried to say but Motoyasu shot a beam at us from the end of his spear. We both jumped out of the way and the attack blasted apart a merchant's stand behind us. He kept doing this several times and the people around us were growing very angry with him. 

"Naofumi, come and fight me!" Motoyasu yelled as he ran straight towards Naofumi. But right as he went to thrust his spear, that same young knight from before got in the way. Luckily, Motoyasu stopped his charge and the boy wasn't killed. 

"Wait a minute, what's going on?" Naofumi asked as I had the same thought on my mind. Why would that knight defend Naofumi?

"This is a public place. Take your differences elsewhere. This is no place for a duel." The knight said as I agreed with his statement. After all, this was a public market where innocent people wander everyday. Someone could get seriously hurt if we were to fight here. 

"It is now." A familiar voice said as I turned to face them. All the while, I began to clench my fists in pure rage as I came face to face with Myne and her small squad of knights. 

"Surround them all." Myne ordered as the knights made a circle around us, pointing their swords as well. Myne then held up a scroll and read it to everyone around us. 

"Ladies and gentlemen, I hereby declare this an official duel between the spear hero and the shield hero! All thanks to the royal crown which has vested me with the authority to do so!" Myne said. 

"I don't think so, you bitch! I'm fighting Motoyasu, whether you like it or not!" I said as Myne gave me a nasty look. 

"Silence, axe hero! Go back to crying with that lowly demi-human. Actually, she's probably dead now if she's been traveling with you and the shield hero!" Myne said as she began to laugh at me. Her knights joined her as well. 

"Say that again. I dare you. See what happens." I said menacingly as she stopped laughing and stared at me. 

"You heard me. A demi-human like her was probably raped like I was by the shield hero and then died while on one of your little adventures." Myne said as I snapped. I knew I couldn't attack her because she was the princess of the kingdom, even though I oh so desperately wanted to. So, instead I took my anger out on Motoyasu who has his back turned to me. I put my axe back into the strap on my back and I marched over to him. 

"Hey. Look at me, you son of a bitch." I said as I grabbed his ponytail and yanked it hard. I pulled his head back as he turned around and removed my hand from his hair. 

"What do you think you're doing!?" Motoyasu asked me as I pulled my left arm back and shoved my fist into his face. I sent him flying backwards and he landed on his back. I think I knocked some teeth out. 

"Uh.... Ayuma... what's... wrong?" Naofumi asked but I ignored him and walked over to Motoyasu. His nose and mouth were bleeding and he was rolling around on the ground. But I stopped him as I stepped down onto his chest. 

"Get off of me, you witch!" He shouted as he thrusted his spear at me. But I leaned far enough to my right that his spear couldn't hit me. And then I grabbed the spears shaft and pulled it out of his grip and threw it away. 

"This didn't have to happen. If you're little princess bitch friend kept her mouth shut, then this would not be happening to you. Believe me, I would be so happy to throw just a single punch at her smug as fuck face but we all know I cannot do that. So, i'm sorry, but you're the next best option." I explained to Motoyasu as he began to look afraid of me. I said this in the most cold way as possible with the most blank expression on my face to make me seem more frightening. I then reached down and grabbed his collar and I pulled my other arm back, preparing to strike him again. 

"Put your weapons and, I guess, fists away!" Another familiar voice said as I looked up to see Melty and Alex standing nearby with royal knights following them. 

"I absolutely forbid the heroes fighting amongst themselves!" Alex said as I took a deep breath and dropped Mtoyasu and walked away. 

"Wha!? What're you two doing back here!?" Myne asked them. 

"It has been way too long, dear sister." Melty said as the two of them began to walk over to Myne. 

"I hope you don't think you or the heroes privilege can cover up this mess.The damage that has been done is plain for everyone to see. And spear hero, look around you." Melty said as Motoyasu looked at all the damage he caused. Buildings had holes in them, stands were destroyed, so many people around that could've been injured. 

"Tell me, would you call a man a hero if he puts others lives at risk?" Alex asked him as Motoyasu stood up to face them. They passed by him and walked right up to Myne.

"Dear sister, your fun and games have gone on much too long." Melty said to her. 

"I have no idea what you two are talking about. I'm simply doing my job as the hero's aid, that's all." Myne explained. 

"Oh, so making him fight in a public place is your idea of aid, I see?" Alex said as Myne glared at them both. 

"Do you two dare to defy me, your older sister?" Myne angrily asked. 

"If we have to, we will inform mother of this. Would you want that?" Alex asked as Myne grinded her teeth. 

All this was so much to take in. Melty and Alex are Myne's younger brother and sister? Good lord, can this damn royal family get any more confusing? Melty and Alex then went on to apologize for her sister causing all the damage to the market. And, Raphtalia managed to find us. Thankfully, Filo was with her as well. 

"What's going on here?" Raphtalia asked Naofumi. 

"Nothing. It's just Motoyasu again." He said as Motoyasu walked up to Filo. He looked pretty ugly though. He had a nice looking black eye and i'd say three teeth missing. Regardless, Motoyasu crouched down to eye level with her and took her left hand. 

"Filo, that is what they call you, isn't it?" Motoyasu asked as Filo gave him a confused nod. 

"Oh, you poor thing. I'll bet Naofumi's been working you like some sort of beast of burden." Motoyasu said as Filo just gave him a smile. 

"But I like pulling the carriage, a lot!" Filo said as Motoyasu became angry.

"Naofumi, you swine. How could you!? You're making her pull your wagon like that big fat bird!? You'll pay for this!?" He said as he picked up his spear and pointed it at Naofumi again. 

"Why'd you have to go and call me fat like that?" Filo asked him as I took a step back. I could tell what was coming. Motoyasu looked confused at her questioned. 

"You made fun of me the last time we met, too!" Filo said to him. 

"I did? And when was that exactly?" Motoyasu asked as Filo transformed into her bird form in front of him. The anger in her eyes was honestly terrifying, like the very devil was looking at you. 

"I hate you, spear guy." Filo said menacingly.

"You mean... you're that... big fat-" Motoyasu tried to say as Filo kicked him right in the crotch, sending him flying over to Myne and landing right in front of her. Oh the sight I just saw was beautiful. It definitely helped me calm down. 

"Sir Motoyasu! Somebody get him to a doctor, right away, and make it quick!" Myne ordered as her knights took him away. 

"Filo wins again!" Filo said as she turned back into her child form. 

"Job well done. I'm proud of you, Filo." Naofumi said as he patted her on top of the head. 

"The shield and axe heroes...." Melty said as her and Alex walked up to us. 

"We must speak with you two urgently." Alex said as we gave them some nods. 

"Alright, but we'll do it in private, seeing as you two are much more "important" then you said you were." I said as the two of them agreed. We all walked through Melromarc until we reached Erhard's shop. There, we could finally get some well deserved answers as to what the heck is going on. And, I hope it didn't take too long. Neela is running out of time. And if I don't give her the holy light soon, then she'll die. And it'll be all my fault.
