The strike mission is in full gear now, and each team is facing tough opponents right off the bat. Raphtalia and her crew were able to deal with Mercury fairly easily, but did receive some damage in the process, and, while Xev and his side of his team dealt with Emerald, they received little physical damage, but more mental. However, with an ability that can reflect things, it really comes into consideration what can and can't be reflected by the ability. However, since Emerald's hallucinations are something she can emit, then I believe they can be reflected, thus is why I had Xev do that. Now, as a reminder, this is the last chapter for the RWBY mission before we switch back over to team 1 in their world. And, judging by how things are going, i'm thinking that the next time we come to this world, it'll be the last time. We'll see though. Now, enjoy!

-POV: Ren-

As me, Leena, and Drake continued our way through the seemingly endless line of train cars, we were starting to come across less and less enemies. We started to think we were finally reaching the front of the train at last.

"It's gotten way too quiet. I feel like something's about to happen." I thought to myself as we entered through to the next train car. It was empty, just like all the others were for the past while, so we started to cross through it to go onto the next one. However, about halfway through, Drake stopped and started to look around the car. 

"What's up?" Leena asked him out of concern. 

"Not sure. It's just..... I don't know.... I've been using my semblance this entire time but.... it's like it's flickering now. Like sometimes there's another person in here and sometimes there isn't." He explained as we all grew very curious now. 

"How is that possible though? Is someone messing with your semblance to make it less effective?" I asked but Drake shook his head. 

"No, people have tried that before but it's never worked. It can't be tampered with in any way. But this is..... The flickering aura.... I think I've felt it before." Drake said as Leena became a little more curious, as well as, concerned. 

"Friend or foe?" She asked him as he tried to focus. 

"It's to hard to tell.... wait.... I can feel..... *GASP* GET DOWN, NOW!!!" Drake suddenly shouted as he reached over, grabbed the top of both of our heads and then shoved both of us down to the ground, while also dropping down too. And, thankfully he did because a sharp metal spike came flying through the air. Based on where it flew from, it looked like it was going to hit Leena in the back of the head. 

"Definitely foe, then." Leena said as we all rose back up to our feet. We faced our new enemy and saw it was a girl. Her hair was both brown and pink that was split down her scalp, as were her eyes, one brown and one pink. She had on a pink and white jacket, black pants, black gloves, white boots, and she carried a pink and white umbrella on her person.

"Oh, great. Just who we didn't want to see here. Hello, Neo." Drake said to her with an unimpressed voice as she bowed to him gracefully. 

"Old friend of yours?" I asked the two of them as they shook their heads.

"Not even close. Neo Politan, yes that's actually her name, is basically Torchwick's pet. She doesn't talk, but she doesn't need to. She's highly skilled and deadly, so keep your guard up at all times, kid. And don't fall for her imaginative semblance." Drake explained to me as I unsheathed my sword and prepared for combat. Drake pulled out his pistol too and Leena unfolded her bow on her arm and drew an arrow. 

"What do you think? Want me to go first? Or you?" Leena asked Drake as she took aim at Neo. 

"You can have this one. Not like it'll do much anyway." Drake said as Leena released her arrow, making it fly right for Neo. But Neo didn't move a muscle and allowed the arrow to strike her. But, the moment it touched her, it simply went right through. The part of her body that was hit shattered away like glass and she made the gesture of brushing off dust. 

"Yeah, kinda figured that would happen." Leena said as I became curious. 

"Is this her semblance?" I asked as they both nodded. 

"Her Semblance is called "Overactive Imagination," and it allows her to create physical illusions that everyone can see. She generally only uses it on herself, but she can incorporate other people and objects into it too. It's a tricky semblance to work around." Leena explained as Neo gave her a nod and a smug smile.

"So then how do we harm her?" I asked. 

"You've gotta play a risky game to do that. Turn yourself into a double edged sword. When she hits you, that's when you can hurt her." Drake said and I was already not liking the idea of battling this girl. 

"Terrific...." I said unenthusiastically.

"Just pick the right moments and pray you survive." Drake told me but that wasn't boosting my confidence whatsoever. In fact, it drastically lowered it. But, regardless, me and Drake charged Neo while Leena fired another arrow at her. The arrow shattered another part of her body like glass but she still looked completely fine. Drake turned his pistol into its sword form and we both swung our weapons at her simultaneously, mine from above and his from below. Neo did a backflip to avoid our attacks and her body quickly regenerated when she landed her flip. 

"Let's see how she like this! Crimson Blade!" I shouted as my sword began to produce flames. I waved it across my body and fired a bolt of fire at the girl. But, she opened up her umbrella and used its cover to block my attack. It completely put out the flames on contact. 

"Yeah, that's no ordinary umbrella. It's made of a special material that's element resistant. And, it packs some nasty surprises." Drake said as he now took the lead and readied his blade by gripping it with both of his hands.

"Good to know." I replied as I did the same, gripping my sword with both of my hands. And, as I did that, an arrow flew right past my head and pierced right through Neo. Leena hit her yet again, but to no avail. 

"If we can overwhelm her with both long and short range attacks, then we may make her overuse her semblance and exhaust herself." Leena said as we all agreed. 

"Sounds like a plan to me. Here we go!" Drake shouted as he turned his head and leaped towards Neo. He swung his sword at her and Neo countered by folding up her umbrella and clashing with his weapon. Seems like blade resistant should be added to that umbrellas list because Drake couldn't rip through it.

Neo then let go of her umbrella with one hand, reached up and grabbed Drake's face. She made him stumble back and she lifted herself off of the ground using her own strength to basically do a handstand on top of Drake's head. She then gracefully landed behind him while still gripping his face and threw him over her shoulder and into a pile of bricks that was in the train car.

"Drake, no!" Leena cried out as she switched her bow into its blade form on her arm and rushed Neo. She cartwheeled towards her and then flipped forward using her hands, flying above Neo and attempting to axe-kick her in the head. But, Neo ducked underneath Leena and easily dodged her attack. Leena landed behind her and spun around to try and stab Neo with her blade. But Neo simply side-stepped to her left and effortlessly avoided the attack. She then grabbed Leena's wrist and threw her past her and over to where Drake was. Both were down on the ground but they were both trying to get back up. 

"Guess it's my turn next!" I shouted as I charged Neo. She saw me coming and just stood there like before. 

"Thunderbolt Slash!" I yelled as my sword began to produce electricity. Neo looked a little surprised and shocked at this development and jumped back when I went to swing at her. This made me curious as it looked like she was going to let the attack hit her like before. But, instead she jumped away. 

"What's the matter? Don't like a few sparks?" I said to Neo as she gave me a scowl before raising her umbrella up. A hidden blade appeared out of the end of it and she thrusted it towards me. I blocked the attack with my sword but she put some real power into the attack. She sent me sliding backwards a few feet and I nearly fell over. 

"Be careful, Ren! She may look small and fragile but she's insanely powerful!" Drake said as he finally got up to his feet and walked over to me. 

"We need to do a coordinated assault. Like Leena said, if we can overwhelm her, we can win." Drake said as I agreed with him. 

"So, how do we strike then?" I asked him. 

"You go right, I go left. You go up, I go down. You seemed to make it clear she doesn't like electricity, so that's what we'll use against her." Drake said as he loaded an ammo catridge into a slot in his sword. The blade began to glow yellow and, like my own sword, electricity began to appear from it. 

"Let's do this." I said as we both separated and charged Neo. Like we planned, I ran for her from the right and I swung my sword at her from below. She went to block me first and my sword deflected off of her umbrella. She then turned while I was off balance and blocked Drake's attack from above. He had more strength and was pushing her down, but it was clear this is what she wanted. I was caught off guard when Neo raised both of her legs up and wrapped them around my head. She twisted her legs and flung me across the room where I landed hard against a wall on the far side of the train car.

"You alright, Ren!?" Leena asked me as she rushed over to help me. My sword had been knocked out of my hands as well and was laying in the centre of the car. 

"Yeah.... i'm alright.... just some bruises...." I said as she sighed with relief and then swapped her weapon back to its bow form. Meanwhile, Drake was struggling against Neo. She had pushed back against his blade and knocked him in the face with the side of her umbrella, then attempted to stab him with its blade. Drake dropped his sword so he could grab the umbrella and stop her from doing so but that seemed to make him play right into her hands. 

Neo lifted herself off the ground yet again while still holding her umbrella and wrapped her legs around Drake's head like she did with me. Only this time, she let go of her umbrella and flipped her body forward, flipping Drake as well. When Neo landed on both of her hands, she flung her legs forward and threw Drake straight up into the ceiling of the train car. He came down with a hard crash and it was clear he had taken some serious damage.

"No!" Leena cried as she took out three arrows at once and fired them all at Neo. She deflected them all with ease thanks to her umbrella and she quickly started to rush Leena. Leena rushed her as well while also firing more arrows but the result was always the same. Neo would block each and every one of them. When Leena got close, she swiftly switched her weapon back to its blade mode and started slashing away at Neo. Neo would tilt her body and side step to dodge her attacks and, in her frustration, Leena was quickly exhausting herself. 

"Would you.... sit still.... for just a second!?" Leena shouted as she thrusted her arm forward, attempting to impale Neo with her blade. But, the blade went through her like glass again, and Neo grabbed onto Leena's arm to hold her in place. Neo grabbed the back of Leena's head with her other hand and forced it down. She then raised up her right knee and struck Leena right in the face. Neo then swept Leena's legs from under her with her left leg and, while Leena was falling to the ground, Neo used the handle of her umbrella to shove her onto the hard metal floor of the train car.

Each and every one of us was down on the ground with only Neo standing above us. Every attack we tried to hit her with, she would simply avoid it or turn it against us. No matter what we tried, it just wouldn't work. I couldn't see any way to beat this girl. And now, she was standing over Leena who was in too much pain to try and get back up. Neo raised her umbrella up while pointing its hidden blade down at Leena. 

"Leena..... you need to run..... NOW!!" Drake shouted to her as he quickly rose to his feet and ran for  them both. But, I feared he wouldn't make it in time to save her. Neo thrusted her blade down at Leena, but, as if a miracle happened, Drake dove for them and reached his right hand out. He made it in between them and, instead of impaling Leena, Neo impaled Drake's right hand. He screamed in pain as he fell to his knees in front of her, but this gave Leena her chance to crawl away. 

"I won't let you hurt her.... you deal with me first.... you bitch...." Drake said as Neo scowled at him before removing her blade from his hand. However, she was far from done. With Drake down and defenseless in front of her, she stabbed at him again. And again. And again. She impaled him over a dozen times in the chest and arms until she felt her job was complete and that Drake was near death.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Leena screamed as Drake slumped over forward, seemingly dying right then and there, laying in a pool of his own blood. Neo then looked to Leena who was still trying to crawl away. She cleaned off the blood on her blade and then started walking over to her.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!!!" I shouted as I limped my way over, picked up my sword and stood between the two girls.

"Ren, no! You can't beat her! Just run away!" Leena begged me but I refused to run. 

"I can't! That would mean I go back against everything I've become to this day! I will not leave you! I will defeat this twisted bitch!" I roared with anger as something truly miraculous began to occur. From behind Neo, Drake stood up. 

"What? How in the world can he be standing right now? He should be dead after all those attacks he took." I thought to myself as he turned around and growled with a much deeper, grizzled tone. Neo turned around and grew a fearful expression on her face. She knew what was happening, and whatever Drake was doing, it made her scared of him. 

"It's happening....." Leena said as I looked to her. 

"What is it? What's happening? What's Drake doing?" I asked her.

"He's turning...." Leena said as I looked back to Drake and watched the black scars on his right arm grow larger and move up his right side, connecting to his shoulder, right side of his neck and all the way up to his right eye. His right eye turned a deep red colour and fangs began to grow within his mouth. His right hand was growing larger too and his nails were sharpening into claws.

"Is he.....?" I started to ask as Leena gave me a nod. 

"Drake is half Grimm." She answered as Drake roared with fury. He sounded like a monster now and he quickly made a dash for Neo. He was much, much faster now that he looked like a black and white blur to me. He was so fast in fact, that he was able to reach for Neo with his claw and grab her head before she could even react.

"I'm gonna kill you!" Drake howled as he shoved her head into the floor of the train car. Neo finally took some damage, but it still wasn't enough to keep her down. She raised up both of her legs and clamped Drake's head in between them. She flipped him over her which gave her a chance to get back up. 

"He can't be stopped now..... Let's just hope..... he doesn't go all out....." Leena said as I crouched down next to her and helped her stand back up. 

"You mean this isn't the full extent of his power?" I asked her as she shook her head. 

"He can become something much more frightening than he is now. And believe me, he can control himself, but the destruction he can cause like this is immeasurable." Leena explained as I now hoped he could finish Neo off quickly.

"Come here!!" Drake shouted as he tried to slash Neo with his claws. But she cartwheeled backwards to avoid his attack and then she leaped forward while he was open and thrusted her blade at him. She impaled his chest yet again and forced Drake down to his knees. 

"He needs help....!" I began to say as I wanted to go and help him. But Leena grabbed my arm to stop me. She shook her head, meaning if I went over there, i'd most likely be the one to get hurt. 

"Don't think this'll stop me! I can endure all pain you give to me! I will not relent!" Drake roared as he grabbed the blade with his claw and then snapped it off of Neo's umbrella. Neo looked shocked at his strength and jumped back to evade his next attack. But, she was too slow this time as Drake reached with his left hand and grabbed her leg. He pulled on it and caused her to fall over onto her back. Drake stood up and picked up Neo with him, holding her upside down in front of her. He roared in her face as Neo grew even more frightened of him. 

"DIE!!" Drake roared as he reeled back his right claw and thrusted it right through Neo. Her whole entire body shattered into glass and Drake seemed to just shrug it off like it was nothing. 

"Where'd she go? She's still gotta be somewhere in this train car." I said but Leena shook her head again. 

"No, she gone. We've faced Neo enough times to know that when you break her whole body like that, it's always a means to escape a fight. She's run away." Leena explained as Drake came marching over to the two of us. He stopped right in front of us both and he looked directly into our eyes with a menacing glare. His blood red right eye was utterly terrifying, and it reminded me of when Ayuma turned into a demon herself. 

"Are you two okay?" Drake asked as he raised up his hands and put one on each of our shoulders. 

"Yeah.... we're..... A-okay...." Leena said with obvious pain in her voice as I simply gave Drake a nod. 

"I was so worried. And, i'm sure you were worried about me too. Honestly, if it wasn't for.... well, all this, then i'd probably be dead." Drake said while gesturing to his Grimm features. 

"Okay, okay, okay, start explaining. How the heck are you half Grimm!? Were you exposed to Torchwick's Grimm drug before or something?" I asked Drake as he shook his head. 

"We don't exactly have the time to stand here and chat, so i'll explain on the way. Let's get going." Drake said as we took off into the next train car. 

"Alright, now start talking." I said to him as he sighed and then nodded his head. 

"Okay, i'll talk. All this happened over 13 years ago, when I was 7 years old. Both me and Leena grew up in the same town in another continent, one named Vacuo. It's mostly just a huge desert though. Anyways, one day we decided to go play just outside the city by some nearby sand dunes. We would climb them and slide down them, you know, typical kids stuff...." Drake began to explained as Leena now took over. 

"But one of the sand dunes was hiding something underneath. A creature of Grimm known as a Griffon. It emerged from the sand and tried to eat us. We were both so afraid and ran back to our city. I was able to make it back inside the walls safely but the Griffon caught Drake and pinned him down on the ground...." Leena told me as we went through a number of train cars. Drake then took over once again to continue. 

"While it tried to eat me, the Griffon used its talons to rip open my right arm, thus is the reason why I have these scars on it. But, before it could chomp down on me, a huntsman who was passing by killed the creature. However, some of the Grimm's blood spewed onto me and entered my new wound on my arm. Now, the doctors couldn't find any traces that the blood would affect me, and for the next 10 years, it didn't." Drake explained as I could now see where this story was going. 

"I see. And it obviously did come to affect you in the end, then?" I said as he gave me a nod. 

"Both me and Leena wanted to follow after that huntsman who saved us. We wanted to protect people and make our world a safer place, even if our impact was only a small one. We both enrolled into Beacon, met Temair and Amber and became team DLTA. Met so many new friends and enemies along the way too, and, on one mission during our first year, Leena was kidnapped." Drake said as she took over once again. 

"I was captured by Torchwick during a Grimm removal mission. Both our team and team RWBY were on this mission and everyone did their best to come and save me. Blake and Drake were the only ones to reach me though, and when Torchwick used me as a hostage, that's when Drake transformed for the first time." Leena explained. 

"It was this huge emotional rush of anger and fear and it totally corrupted me. I ashed out against everything, but Leena was able to get her voice through me, thankfully, and I turned back to normal. Torchwick got away from us though that day, obviously. But, this transformation, this hybrid form i'm in right now, I thought it was the end of the Grimm within me. But we were all wrong. The Griffon that's blood spewed into me was no normal Grimm. It was an alpha. It can command other Grimm so long as they're not an alpha as well." Drake explained as I became curious. 

"Leena mentioned that you haven't shown your full strength yet in this form of yours? Since you have the blood of this alpha Griffon, are you saying you can turn into a Griffon yourself?" I asked him as he shook his head. 

"You're catching on, but it's not a Griffon. No, something much worse." Leena said to me as Drake went on to continue. 

"During a tournament that was held a beacon, the school became overrun by Grimm and terrorists, and we all became separated. I found myself with Ruby and we were looking for a friend who ran off to Beacon's communication tower. And Leena.... Leena..... I'm sorry, I can never tell this part. It always hurts me to say." Drake said while biting his lower lip. 

"It's okay. It happened to me, after all. I can tell him. I was with Yang and we both searched around the campus for Blake. We found her in the cafeteria but she was under attack by this mysterious man, who we now know is named Adam. He stabbed her right in her gut and that made Yang furious. But, in her act of rage, she quickly found out she was no match for this Adam. With one swift strike, he sliced off her right forearm, and then came at me next. I held him off long enough for Blake to get up and run away with Yang, but Adam was too much for me. And, he did this...." Leena said as she removed her eye patch that was over her left eye. 

It didn't look like Ayuma's hole in her head at all. The eye was still there, only it was clear what had happened. This Adam person had thrusted his sword right into her eye. A deep wound was right in the centre of the eye. 

"Oh my lord.... I'm.... i'm sorry to hear all of this..... A friend of mine lost one of her eyes too....." I said as Leena seemed to shrug off my sorrow. 

"Hey, it's alright. I'm alive, after all. Can't slow me down one bit!" Leena said with confidence. 

"Anyways, where was I? Oh right, I was with Ruby on Beacon tower and we came face to face with the person who started the invasion. Her name was Cinder. She infiltrated Beacon, along with that Emerald girl and a boy named Mercury to destroy it from the inside and gain a power unlike anything seen in our world. And she obtained it. But we were able to stop her before she could use it and mortally wound her. Now, jump ahead a few months. We met Cinder once again, only this time, we discovered something.... horrifying. She was part Grimm too. And an alpha Grimm, just like me. And, since she had more power than me, she was able to control me and turned me into.... well, she unlocked my full potential and made me try to kill my friends...." Drake explained as he put his head down in shame. 

"Hey, would you stop sulking about that time? We already decided that you couldn't do anything about it, so stop it with the sad routine. We weren't mad at you, Drake. And besides, we snapped you out of it and we kicked Cinder's ass!" Leena said as Drake raised his head back up and gave her a nod. 

"You killed her?" I asked but they both shook their heads. 

"We thought we had, but like Torchwick, she just keeps coming back. We last encountered her around 7 months ago, but haven't heard a word about her since. Team DLTA's been trying to find her to finally end this reign of terror she's on, but we haven't had any luck whatsoever." Drake said to me as I felt I understood everything now. 

"Okay, so just to recap, you had Grimm blood enter your body when you were 7, and you're now 20. 3 years ago, you first turned into this hybrid Grimm form during a mission and nearly lost control and killed your friends. Then, Grimm and terrorists invaded Beacon, Leena lost her eye, Yang lost her arm, and you and Ruby stopped Cinder for the time being. Then you find Cinder again and she takes control over you and turns you into a full Grimm. But, your friends free you of her control and you stop Cinder again, but she's still out there somewhere. Sound about right?" I asked as Leena gave me a nod. 

"More or less, yeah." She responded as we came to another locked door. Drake used his semblance to see if anyone was inside the next train car and he said there was only one person. 

"Just one? Then let's get in their and take them down." I said as I unsheathed my sword. 

"No, wait. This aura they have..... It's Torchwick!" Drake said. 

"Finally, we've made it to the bastard!" Leena said with relief as she, like the rest of us, was probably tired of running. However, in this moment of relief, something happened. The entire train suddenly shook and a clanking sound could be heard from close by. 

"Oh no...." Drake said as he reeled back his right clawed arm and punched down the locked door. In front of us was Torchwick at the door to the the next train car, which was indeed the front, but he had uncoupled the cars to stop us. He was getting away with the drugs in the car right behind him.

"So long, kiddos! Moose! Bright Eye! Mr. Gloomy! I bid you all adieu! You can't stop me from spreading this drug now!" Torchwick said as our part of the train came to a complete stop and his kept on going. 

"Come on! We have to follow him! We can't fail! Everyone's counting on us to stop him!" Drake said as he picked both me and Leena up ad held us in his arms. He jumped off the train and started charging forward even faster than he had run before. I could feel the wind blowing past my face as such a fast pace that it felt like it was going to rip my skin off. 

"You know, that friend I mentioned before, the one who's also missing her left eye, she used to be able to turn into something too, just like Drake can. Only she turned into a demon, until we found out it was an actual demon that was just taking over her body." I told Leena as Drake seemed to focused to hear me right now. 

"A demon? Is it another one of the demons that you want us to help you fight?" Leena asked me as I nodded. 

"Yes, but the one I just mentioned has been destroyed. My friend and the king of our country finally put an end to it." I told her. 

"This world of yours sounds very interesting to me. I'd love to hear more, but I think we're coming up on where Torchwick is! Get ready!" Leena said as she pointed forward. We were at the end of the tunnel and, when we reached the end, we came outside into a harbor. However, instead of transporting the drugs on a ship, we could see Torchwick had loaded them onto an airship and was in the middle of taking off. 

"Shoot it down! He can't get away!" Drake said as he let go of me and Leena and allowed us to fire at Torchwick. Leena fired her arrows while I shot lightning bolts at his airship but none of our attacks did a thing to it. We could see inside the cockpit that Torchwick was waving us off with a smug smile, and we watched him take off into the air. 

"Shit! Damn it, he's gone! Now what're we supposed to do!?" I said in frustration as Drake suddenly took a deep breath and stepped forward. 

"I suppose it can't be helped. Stand back, you two." He said to me and Leena as we took a few steps back. Drake fell down to his hands and knees and a crunching sound started to come from his body. He was changing again. I watched as his body began to grow in size and turn black in colour. Two massive wings sprouted from his back with red webbing, and all four of his limbs turned into huge legs with sharp claws on each. He grew a long black tail with a white spear-like tip at the end of it, and he grew horns from his head, white in colour just like the shape of his skull now. And, to cap it off, his teeth became enlarged into even bigger fangs. Drake completed his transformation with a mighty roar as he stood up on his hind legs and let the whole world hear him.

"This is Drake's true Grimm form.... his full potential..... You might think it sounds stupid.... but Drake is able to transform into a Drake." Leena explained as I looked on in awe at what he had become. A huge dragon-like creature, easily over 60 feet tall that had fire coming out of its mouth. I've slayed a dragon back in Melromarc, but even one like this would probably be too much for me. 

"Come on! Get on him so we can follow after Torchwick!" Leena said as Drake lowered one of his wings down onto the ground so we could climb it and hop onto his back. He started flapping them and we took off moments later into the sky. Torchwick's airship was still in sight and we started making our way towards him to finally end his plan once and for all. And, with a literal Drake on our side now, I don't see any way we can fail now. Our team who came to this world is gonna return with a truly remarkable force. Highly trained and deadly students and a giant Dragon. The demon's won't know what hit them.
