Poor Lucas... I wonder what is going to happen next. Let's see how Rose is handling the situation... I just hope that those 2 annoying kids stay quiet for once. Now attention to the story.

Rose POV

"Don't you dare close your eyes Lucas!" I screamed with tears pouring out none stop. "What will the kids say when they see you in this state?! You promised them you will return! That-" I couldn't breath and concentrate on my magic, but I pushed on to safety.
"You- You told them to be brave and to have Honor and survive, so wake up ok?."

We landed near the Capital's wall and I took shelter behind a fallen debris. I settled him down slowly, trying desperately to keep dirt off of his bitten part of the leg. I was shaking badly and couldn't think of the healing spell,

I need a healer... I screamed out loud, but explosions and swords clashing were everywhere. I knew that if I were to save him, I will need to calm myself first. I took one of my sharp hidden knives and stabbed my arm, the pain shot through me, stopping the endless shaking. I calmed down and looked at Luca's wound. It was green, with white stuff coming out.

"Oh gods! This demon had poison on his saliva" I looked at Lucas and whispered, "This is going to hurt, please bear with me." I took my water pouch and used magic to start cleaning his wound, the water was a mix of herbs and salt. He started to groan and move wildly, but I managed to continue. Once the wound was clean I used fire to stop the bleeding immediately. I remembered the words to heal and gathered my last remaining magic, But it kept slipping away.
Flying all the way here took a toll on me... I'm too weak. I laughed at myself for being so weak and fragile.

"Don't cry... Ugh" said Lucas with his eyes closed. I smiled because this Idiot Husband of mine protected me... If only I wouldn't have made that mistake, he wouldn't spent his energy like so to defeat that annoying spear whatever he is... If only.

-------------------Flashback-----------------

"Hey Lucas!" I said while slashing enemies with my daggers and kicking one that got too close on the groin, Lucas made an ouch face.

"Damn even I felt that..." Said Lucas looking away at the enemy who was a mess on the floor.

"Whatever, so what are the orders?" I asked him throwing knifes to enemies heads. He dashed behind me and slashed a demon who was about to strike me from behind, "Thanks" I said.

"The orders are" Lucas stopped as he killed 3 more in an instance. "To take control of the situation, destroy the enemy and restore order to the Capital. Is the king and Queen safe? He asked looking at me.

"Yeah, I led them out safely, including their daughter and son. They should be at the safe place with my clan." I smiled in an evil way.

"Oh yeah... They are very safe with those ummm warriors..." Said Lucas not looking at me.

"Hey!" I jumped into the shadows and reappeared next to Lucas gutting and enemy next to him, "Now I don't owe you!" I said laughing.

"Hahaha, did you see his face?" Lucas laughed and turned to look at the hole on the north gate wall, were the enemies were entering the north district city. "We need to close that part off" pointed Lucas.

"I know, but enemies keep pouring in... Maybe... I know!" I said disappearing into the shadows and appeared at the Mages Guild, all of the guild Leaders were there in a room handing out orders and strategic planning, about 5 of them were gathered except for one... the room was filled with banners of the Mages Guild with they're Blue and white markings of the staff. I walked closer to hear them speaking.

"They have breached the north wall, we need to close that area the close they're way in." Said the Knights Guild Leader Ledrick.

"No, We need to move back our troops and close the area to make a steady flow of enemies closer to us!" Said the Adventurers Guild Leader Alps.

"That won't work you fool! Enemies can brake through and cause more chaos among our troops, there are people evacuating the city as we speak!" Said Ledrick.

The Mages Guild Leader Aquas sat there quietly looking at my direction. She smiled and turned back to them, "Both of you are fools, Why not ask someone who is fighting on the outside and share the information?." The guild leaders turned around looking for someone and I knew I had to make an appearance.

I walked out of the shadows next to Aquas which even surprised her, "Hello Everyone" I said bowing Down formally.

Aquas stood up so quickly that she almost fell forward, "I though you were over there!" She said surprised.

"Well if it isn't Rose Shadow, I was wondering if you were hiding while everyone was fighting outside." Said Ledrick with a stern look.

"My lady" said Alps with a formal bow.

I looked straight at Ledrick, "Why do you always have to be such an ass?" I said getting him off guard and appearing behind him with my knife inches away. I could feel his pulse getting faster, and I knew that I could get him to do anything... But that's not my way... Not anymore. I backed away and stood in the center of the room.

"I bring orders of Alberich himself." I said with a serious look.

"He disappeared to fight this exactly enemy and they appear here, isn't that a coincidence." Said Ledrick and Alps in unision. The other guild leaders nodded agreeing with them. Aquas looked at them and backed away from them to stand next to Me.

"I've been too nice..." I whispered to myself. "Is that how all of you see it?" I asked them with a warning.

"It is not if that is how we see it, but it is how things are happening, and it is the only conclusion that makes sense" said the leader of the Ironworks.

"I do not forgive those who speak of the General in such a manner... He has always taken care of all of you! And this is how you repay him?!" I got so angry that I removed a bit of my limiter to show them who I really was. I felt my true power flowing around me, I glared at all of them. I could see their fear inside of their souls, I smiled wildly.

"All of you have managed to piss me off to this extent... Congratulations." I said in a cold tone, letting my powers consume me. "The next time any of you say or think such things of the General I will be there to gut you all like weak humans that you are!" I growled.

"Calm down!" Said Aquas standing up, "The enemy is outside not in here!".

I looked at all of them, and calmed down. " The orders are simple, evacuate the capital, take control of the streets and help us defeat the remaining enemies once and for all." I turned around jumped into the shadows.

"..." Whispers among the Guild leaders.

"You couldn't stay shut now could you?" Said Aquas to Ledrick. He looked at her with a what did I do look.

"These 'Leaders' make me so angry!" I screamed walking down the street towards Lucas when a huge explosion knocked me back into reality. I shadow jumped to the top of the 15 foot wall on the north gate and saw a man in blazing red armour with a long sword.... "GENERAL!!" I Screamed with delight. I appeared next to him ready to fight off whoever dared to threaten him. Seconds later appeared Lucas with a wild grin and his hair was messed up to one side.

"Sorry I'm late, Aquas appeared near me using her powers hitting me by mistake with her water jet" I laughed at him feeling better. I stood there shocked when I saw the Leaders of the Demon race. "They are an Ugly bunch... Not more Ugly than you Lucas" I giggled.

"Hey! That is not funny, I am tired of people pushing me around!" Said Lucas waving his sword around.

"Enough you too!" Said Alberich.

What happened next was something I was not prepared for. I remember my Father telling me, ' A wolf pack stays together and whoever shows weakness shall be killed and eaten... But there are those that rise up, becoming the Alpha and the Omega. '
I felt a tingling sensation behind my neck, I ducked fast to hear a Thunk sound in front of me. I looked and saw an arrow there hissing making the floor melt were it hit. "Ugh... Thank the gods I have very good reflexes or that would have sucked." Lucas ran off with lizard face and the the stupid toxic throwing arrow demon, but now I am stuck with sword and lance... Long Range and close range, how did I get this horrible mix?!.

"Ok, whoever is writing this stupid Story needs to make things easier for the lady, like who leaves a woman captain with a strong sword demon and a Lance demon?! I wield Daggers for gods sake... Sigh whatever." I brought out my two daggers and got ready for their assault, The lance demon circled around towards my left while the sword demon walked towards my right.

"Fang, I want her as my trophy." Said the Sword demon.

"Hissssssssssss you and your trophiessssss. I don't care, assssslong as I get to kill whatever I want Core." Said Fang. "It looksssssss like my brother issssss going to have more fun than me with the male human."

I took the opportunity of them being distracted to go for the kill on Fang, but he was expecting me. I was about to slice his throat when a flash of metal caught my eye and his lance was 1 inch away from my face, I used my dagger to pierce the ground and propelled my way out of his reach. When I landed the Core was waiting for me with his sword about to slice me,

"Omg really?!" I said out loud.

I parried his blow, but it felt like hitting a boulder, my hands went numb. I jumped back to recover and guess what, there was Fang with his stupid lance. They had really good coordination. After what felt like hours of me dodging sword and lance I stopped and fell on one knee. I had cuts all over my body, my energy was low, magic super low and I didn't have enough strength to shadow jump out of here. Core ran in my direction with his sword in mid swing when a blur passed by me and made the sword guy fall backwards. I looked around looking for whoever stopped Core's attack... Nothing. But with the corner of my eyes I saw a flash moving in high speeds that stopped above the Lance demon.

"Lucas?!" I screamed. He just smiled at me and pulverized the demon into dust. He was standing over the remains of the now Vaporized demon with lightning covering his body, his Blue eyes sparked off and he appeared next to me with a bottle on his hand, I took it and drank without question. I felt my strength returning, My magic got restored and my cuts started to steam healing themselves.

"You idiot!! The potion you gave me was powerful, you should have saved it for emergencies!" He gave me a wink and went back to fight off the acid demon. I turned to Core and smiled at him. He face showed concern and fear, and I knew I could beat him. I threw a smoke bomb at him which he sliced in half, "Idiot" I said smiling. All around the demon black smoke continued to spread all over my side of the field. I took this opportunity to kill him once and for all. Using my dark magic I shadow jumped behind him and sliced his head. His body stopped moving for a second. I though to myself *Finally I win!* but that was short lived for the smoke cleared at I just cut his tail, which he used as a diversion. I tried to feel his presence, but he was gone.

"Crap!!!" I said as I barely dodged his sword from behind. He scraped my arm by a little bit, but it started to sting. I knew what that meant and started using magic to remove the poison. After I finished I felt drained,

"You though that I wassss eassssy to killll....... I will show you my true strength." Said Core licking his scaly lips. He took a weird stance with his sword in front of him. The ground started to shake and his sword turned red, "Now I will kill everyone Human!!! And I will make you my-" he could not finish his sentence for his head was on the ground with me on the floor holding my wire.

"But- I am the stronge-" his head hit the ground and his body went limp. I stood up holding to my wire with blood trickling on my right hand. I smiled and walked away slowly taking deep breaths, I couldn't stop shaking. I was almost killed.... I shrugged it off and saw a golden fist the size of a mountain falling down to Lucas. I rushed using shadow jump and grabbed him by his hand rushing out of there using wind magic.... And now here I am laying down with my husband not knowing what to do.

"OVER THERE!!! RAAAAAAGGGHHH THOSE TWO HUMANS KILLED OUR LEADERS!!!" A passer by demon saw us and screamed to a group near by, they all charged towards us and I closed my eyes..."I Love You" I whispered to Lucas.
