Aventus POV

"I'm sorry Solus, please forgive me" I said as I hit him in the back of the head knocking him unconscious. "Take him to safety Donny, please take care of him".

"Like his me own son Aventus, When I return you better be alive or I'll skin all of the demons me'self mate" Donny said giving me a hug.

I smiled wildly remembering when was the last time I got to go all out without the worry of hurting anyone. I turned around to speak with the leaders who where in a round table barking orders.

"By the order of the King, Aventus is here to lend us his mighty strength" said the knight who let us in.

"Bah! I don't need some young man to defend my kingdom. Go do something else!" Commanded the Lord of this kingdom. I walked to the table quietly and looked around to each of his leaders. I brought out my sword and slammed it to the ground impaling it there. I walked over to the Lord and bowed down with respect.

"Lord Of the Mountains, I am Aventus. Let me aid your cause and save your people. I will not stand by and let innocent beings get killed because of your pride!" I said with a final tone. A random soldier tried to take my sword out of the ground but it would not budge, the sword started emitting a blue light with a high pitched sound, showing that the person holding the sword is not worthy. Once the sound came to a stop everyone stopped holding their ears shut and looked at the soldier on the floor that fainted.

"I will be outside attacking the main army, your people and knights can attack the flanks." I said walking out.

"Wait!" Screamed the Lord, "Are you going to do this alone?" I smiled lightly and nodded.

"Come see yourself, why I Aventus am known as Excalibur by his Majesty the King".

I jumped up to the top of the Wall, I could see the battlefield laid out like a chess game, but all of the pawns were in pure chaos and the captains could not keep order, I took a deep breath and raised my sword high,

" Thy light will bring thee salvation to all before me", I chanted whispering to my sword, It started shining deep blue, the energy crawled from the sword to my hands and then my whole body, I felt the need to go out of control and destroy everything in my path, but there is a reason why I am the master of this sword, and very few know the real reason. Let them feel what true justice is in the Hands of Excalibur.

As a beacon of Justice I jumped high in the air and smash landed in the middle of the demon army, the mix of Demons was overbearing, but I smiled. I didn't know half of the races here, but they can be killed. I grabbed hold of my sword and I did an Arc Swing making all of the enemies in front of me vanish in a flash. My sword grew longer with bright light, I moved faster and faster, killing everything in my sight. I saw a group of demons grab kids as hostages and pointed their daggers at their throats,

"Yooooou drop your weapon and kneel or thy kids will perishhhhhh" said the ugly rat.

I took a deep breath and got serious... "Nobody takes kids as hostages..." I put the sword on my shoulder and made like I was falling forward, with all my might I used energy to kick myself off of the floor with such force that I disappeared and reappeared behind the rats, I killed all 4 of them in a blink of an eye.

"Ok kids, you need to head that way, and don't worry it will be safe. Keep your head down and continue forward. I will protect you!" I smiled at them and they nodded and ran none stop to the Mages who were healing. On their way using my energy to keep my dash fast I managed to keep them from getting hurt.

I turned around and hold Excalibur with both hands, "Let's finish this Partner!!" I jumped back to the wall and ordered everyone to fall back, once they did I gathered my last remaining energy on Excalibur and jumped very high,

"This is from my own free will, Heavens Retribution!!" I shouted as my sword fired thousands of energies to the demon army. The battlefield grew quiet, dirt and smoke rose across it... It felt like death was quietly taking them away. Once the dust settled they were all dead except the few that had a brain to run. But those were caught soon enough. I fell backwards and Excalibur turned to a normal one handed sword. I laughed and groaned.

"Its going to hurt tomorrow... Muscle cramps!!! Ow!" I kept laughing and groaning as my whole body was hurting, the healers came by and tried to heal me but could not, I laughed at them and they were very worried.

"Why can't we heal you savior?" Asked a healing mage scared.

"Sorry, but only a selected few can heal me, it is a secret to the reason why you cannot and others can heal me." I slowly got up with the help of the knight I met at the door.

"That was incredible!! How did you do all that?! Teach me!" He said Bowing down in in knee. I was so tired I just nodded and continued on to find Ric. Soon enough I found him covered in dirt and blood. I feared the worst, but he explained how some demons tried to kill all of the horses, and he would not let those demons do that so he took care of them in a strict manner.

I chuckled and turned to my right and saw Donny running my way with cuts all over dirt and blood in his clothes , I felt my heart quickening, chills started running down my spine and I prayed that everything would be well.

"Aventus!! I.... I'm so sorry!" Said Donny with his head on the ground begging for forgiveness, "I was underground with Solus when an explosion erupted behind me, I turned and saw demons pouring in. I took my stance and protected the boy with me life!, but when I turned all I saw was his cloak. Nothing more....." Donny kept cursing himself over and over. I bent down and put my hand on his shoulder. His eyes were watery and his beard was a mess, I tried to control my anger, my sadness... I fell to my knees and lifted Don's shoulders.

"Please tell me everything that happened Don, this is serious. It seems the enemy knew about my brother's appearance..." I sat down and Donny kept his face on the floor crying. He's a very brave man, but his weakness is that if he loses someone, he brakes down for a long time, and in a battle that is very bad, "Look at me! We need to figure out where he is and fast." I helped him stand up and together we walked to the table where the leaders and the Lord were discussing repairs and gathering essentials. I walked over and sat in a empty chair.

"Well hello hero, are you perhaps tired to scream orders?" Said the Lord sarcastically.

I looked at him serious, "My little brother has been kidnapped... I need help finding him."

"That's too bad, we are busy here controlling chaos and helping the wounded... You will need to do that by yourself hero Excalibur." Said the Lord with a sly smile and spat with disgust the Excalibur part. I looked around and took a deep breath, Donny was behind me gripping his axe tightly huffing deeply. I smiled and then laughed,

"After what I did to save you all this is how you repay me?" I got up and in my I will kill you voice told them, "This I shall not forget... I will return and when I do... You better be ready for hell itself Lord of the Mountains." The guards around him were shaking violently, the Lord was sweating and his lips trembling. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned to see Donny smiling,

"That's enough my friend, Let's concentrate on rescuing Solus our own way. These little soldiers have no idea of what you are capable of... Right now they all got a taste of true killing intent hehehehe... I'm shaking myself too" Don brushed his beard laughing awkwardly.

I turned to see Ric holding a vase of water and smiling, "Ready Aventus?" He said smiling but with crazy eyes.

"Get it over with!" I said as I felt the coldness of the water and then hearing the enchanting of Ric using water magic to heal my whole body, once he was done most of my fatigue was gone and my soreness went away, the bad thing about this magic is that it uses the magic of both persons involved in the process, which is me and Ric. Once done Donny threw a potion at me and I quickly drank it to regain my magic before it fell too low. We continued our way down the main town Street that was connected to all the markets, and merchants. The gate was south of us and north was the way into the High Mountain Temple, which houses the Lord of the Mountains.

"Ok we need to investigate, How these demons knew about him being there, and also to see if there are any people who betrayed us or a demon spy is here watching as we speak." I looked at both my soldiers. "We need help... Don call your brother, I told him before our battle to keep scouting without being seen, let it be good or bad people."

"Hehehe! That raskal be a good sneak isn't he?" Donny laughed along with Ric, who just laughs with him so he does not feel out of place. Which is worse in my opinion.

"Alright, this be the place Aventus. This is the point of entry, I followed the cave but it was caved in, probably the enemy not wanting to be followed." I nodded and started looking around for anything that can tell me about his capture or the place where they are going.... Or anything at all!.

After a couple of hours I gave up and sat down on a boulder, "He is gone.... What will I tell father.... Or worse Mother.... I-" I punched the wall which in turn crumbled to reveal a second corridor,

"Ha! I knew this was here!" I said with pride.

"Aventus.... No you did not" said Ric with his serious face.

"Let's go!" I said as I grabbed a torches and handed them around, we entered the cave, after a while I felt a scratch on the wall, as I looked further I found the same mark ( ~ ) I smiled, becuase there is only one person mother taught what to do if you get kidnapped and that is for hoping that your friends are smart enough to see the signs and follow them,

"Guys! I found his marks!" I said pointing at the mark.

"Thats a scratch nothing more." Said Ric.

"Listen Solus's name starts with an S and what does this look like?" I said with a really you don't get it face.

"Oh now I see it!" Said Donny laughing.

"Oh so you were not going mad, good then.... Let's go get Solus." Said Ric nodding at me.

"Were coming for you Solus... Your big brother will rescue you and kill anything that stands in my way!!!" I charged forward.

There was a light at the end of a cave, we ran towards it and made it out to a vast landscape with mountains and rocks all over,

"Welcome to the Dragon's Mouth" said Donny's brother from the shadows behind us with a grim face.

"Great... Just when I think that things will not get anymore difficult."
