I'm so ashamed, I haven't updated since October! At least I got 30 reads so far! Now.... The moment you have all been waiting for... (Probably not) The race starts this chapter!!! What's gonna happen? I don't know myself (I make the story up as I go, so even I don't know!)

Pantherlily's POV

Today we start the 3 Year Exceed Race. Everybody is very nervous, even me. What am I saying?

I AM THE ALL MIGHTY AND POWERFUL PANTHERLILY AND I CAN NOT BE AFRAID OF ANYTHING!!!! (Well, except for thunder, but that's out of the question!)

All things aside, It looks like Happy and Carla are here! I also see Frosch and Lector floating around in the bright blue sky, debating on who would die first.

"Real professional, guys!" I call out

"I don't see Happy and Carla complaining!!" Lector calls out.

"Frosch didn't take any part in this!" Frosch exclaimed.

I just roll my eyes. I mean, Frosch seems too innocent to bet on people dying, but I can imagine Lector doing that.

"Greetings and welcome, to the very first 3- Year Exceed Race!!!" Master Makarov Booms.

"In this race, 50 Exceeds will be competing in a race all around Fiore! The race will take place right here in the very heart of Fairy Tail, and they will travel all across Fiore to better understand what it's really like to go on a journey. Some might unfortunately pass from this race, but we will try to rush to the injured and take them out of the race as soon as possible. Before we start, do the Exceeds have anything to say before we start this race?"

I walk over to Gajeel in a nervous manner. Why am I shaking?

"G-G-Gajeel..." I run over to him and hug him tightly. "I- I don't wanna leave you!"

"Don't worry, Lily, I know you'll live, and I know you're gonna make it back. Besides, if you run away from something before even beginning, then what's the point in doing it?"

"You're right."

"Attention everyone! I will now start the countdown for the race!" Master Makarov yells.

"I'll miss you, Gajeel."

"Of course you will!" Gajeel snickers.

"Remember, this race will last three years!" Master reminds everyone for the last time.

"Is everyone ready?"

"GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT!!!" All Exceeds scream in unison.

"Alright then."

"READY,"

"SET,"

"GO!!!!"

Ooh, cliffhanger! Sorry so much again for not updating in such a long time! Since it's close to the holidays and Christmas and stuff, I'll try to make 2 more chapters this month! Expect a Christmas chapter soon!
