Happy's POV

Me and the other Exceeds have gathered in Master Makarov's office. He said he had a "special" announcement for us.

Carla and Lily had come early, so they could help out at the office. I swear, if Lily did anything to my Carla, he won't live to see Fantasia.

It also looks like Frosch and Lector have come too! After everything was settled and that yummy fish was taken care of, Makarov was about to give his announcement.

"All of you, including some Exceeds from Edolas that have participated, will compete in out first 3 Year Exceed Race!"

"A 3 YEAR EXCEED RACE?!?! THAT'S CRAZY!" We all yelled in unison at Master's announcement. What was he thinking when he planned this?!

"Is it a job?" asked Carla.

"No, just a race." said Makarov.

"What about the Edolas Exceeds?"

"They've agreed to join and will get medical treatment if injured."

"Have you consulted Wendy, Natsu, and Gajeel?"

"Yes, they're fine with it. They'll be glad to see you when you get back, and they will miss you very much."

"I guess it will only seem fair since the Edolas Exceeds are willing to participate,"

"Natsu," I mumbled under my breath.

"What was that, Happy?"

"Oh, nothing."

"Now that everything is settled, the race will start tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?!"

"I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it."

3 years without Natsu.... I'm going to win this race, no matter what it takes for Natsu's sake!
