Hosting Hours

"Yuki-senpai, you're really calm, I was nervous at first when I started hosting!"

" Thanks Haruhi." Yuki replied swiftly.

(Inside Yuki's Mind)

' I'M GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME HARUHI!!!!!!!!! AAARARARAHAGAHAHHHHHHAHHH!!!!!!!!'

maybe that was a tad bit too dramatic.

(Outside World)

" Welcome to the Host Club ladies!"

Customers were flocking to their respective types, giggling like crazy.

" Ladies, I present to you, the Lonely Prince type, Yuki Seijuro!" Kyoya announced to the entire club, earning applause from the audience.

(A/N: some very helpful readers spotted my error , tks! :) )

Yuki waved stiffly to the customers with a small smile. Some girls from the previous day recognised Yuki and waved back while others passed comments to each other about the curious newcomer.

" Everyone please welcome Yuki to the Host Club."

Another round of applause.

*
"Yuki, why did you join the Host club?"

"Yuki, I heard you are great at your studies and athletics, where did you learn your talents?"

"Yuki, could you make some of your tea? I'm dying to try some."

'Yuki. ..'

'Yuki..'

'Yuki!'

The stress.
The pressure.

Why did I join This club in the first place?

Right. If i didnt i would be in the cosplay club. Which doesnt sound so bad now.

Help me!

My mouth hurts from smiling.

" Yuki are you alright? You've been staring into space for a few minutes."

I regained my senses and straightened my tie. 'How do I do this...'

" I'm so sorry! I was so entranced by beauty that I was quite speechless that you would come to a lowly servants table." I covered my eyes with my hand held at my forehead.
'Please take the bait... please take it.'

" Yuki, thats so sweet!"

" Its okay Yuki, I forgive you!"

I sighed relieved and looked up from my hands, "Really? Being forgiven by you is a blessing."

I sound so much like Tamaki.

My soul went into the emo corner in my mind. Why?! Why?!

I remembered that their tea cups were empty by then and quickly made some jasmine tea for them.

Carefully pour the tea leaves into the infuser, put the infuser in the water. Easy enough.

I placed the china tea cups infront of them gently with a little 'clink'.
" Jasmine tea to soothe you, Ladies. Hope you enjoy the brew."

They sipped the tea I made appreciatively and sighed in happiness.
" It tastes so nice. "
" its so calming. "

I smiled at them gently and refilled their cups.
" I'm glad you liked it."

~

I appreciate, um, respect the Host Club so much more now.

THIS IS HARDER THAN STUDENT COUNCIL WORK.

I lay down exhausted on of the tables that were in the host club. Hosting hours had ended and the host club Was idling about.

"Yuki-kun~"
I snapped my head back up at the voice. 1 Red head.

"What is it Kaoru?" I replied coolly.

He looked very surprised at first, but he regained his cool and placed a tea cup infront of me.

I raised an eyebrow at his actions.
He looked startled. " I was just going to ask whether you could taste my tea." He replied innocently.

I was baffled. Me? Critique?
My eyes widened but I still picked up the tea cup. The leaves swirled around in the rosy sub- water. Water.

I inhaled in a deep breath. A strong aroma of flowers filled my nose like the first time I entered the Host Club. I sighed happily and looked at Kaoru. He had an anticipating expression on his face. I was quite surprised by his stares and quickly looked back at the tea.
I gently lifted it up to my lips and sipped it gingerly. A amazing taste slipped over my taste buds. As the warm tea entered my stomach, a warm feeling spread throughout my body, earning a contented sigh from me.

I smiled and put down the teacup. "Its great. You make good tea Kaoru, what leaves did you use?"

He looked praised and beamed happily. " Rose."

I nodded at his choice and asked another question. "Why did you give it to me? Haruhi looks like she needs it." I gestured over to Haruhi who was brooding over her homework.

A pink tint spread over his cheeks and he looked away from me. " I just thought you'd like some."
He's so cute. CUte as in INNOCENT.

I smiled gently and pushed the teacup over to him. "You try it."
He blinked surprised, and looked from the cup to me. The slight blush on his cheeks darkened slightly and he picked up the cup gingerly before taking a sip. "Its good."

I tilted my head and smiled good-naturedly. "You deserve it."
But what is he thinking?

His blush darkened and his eyes wandered anywhere but me.

What the heck is he thinking.
Really. I'm asking.
