Hey everyone, Raven here!

Today is January 20th in my time (EST), marking the beginning of the judging process! We are starting with best short film, and I will be creating the vote for reader's choice soon as well (please keep in mind it is purely fan-voted, with Honey and I's thoughts on the author's profile having nothing to do with placement). Along with that, the first biweekly update will be February 3rd.

Judge for the best short film category: Ravendipity.

JikookCielo with the book Christmas Love!

JikookCielo, or Estella, is a very close friend of mine and fellow Jimin enthusiast who casually gets bias wrecked by Jungkook every other day. She's a passionate writer who just recently reached 50 followers on this account and over 100 on her main account! Congratulations to Estella on that awesome achievement! I'm sure Estella has a lot more in store in the future, with plenty of new milestones on the way. You guys should definitely check out Chimera!

CarmenJohnson599 with the book Tiny Dancer!

CarmenJohnson599, or Carmen, is a talented writer you may recognize from the WHO Mini Awards, where she took home an honorable mention with Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right, which is an awesome short story that has a cool twist you won't see coming, so you should definitely give it a read whenever you get a chance. Carmen is back for this short story category, and I'm excited to see what she has in store for me next in Tiny Dancer!

4everSherlocked with the book Fall Flat!

4everSherlocked, or Sherly, is a popular K-pop fanfiction writer known for The Cupid Complex (TCC), though you may also recognize her from Baby Daddy and Bubble, and, more recently, Thirst Trap. It's safe to say Sherly has no shortage of stories, and even outside of K-pop, has original work, too, so I strongly suggest giving her profile a looksie! She has something for everyone!

Saramitra_ with the book The Case of Ghostly Garnish!

Saramitra_, or Sara, is a close friend of mine who you may recognize as the wonderful co-host of the Weekly Writing Contest! Outside of that, Sara is an awesome judge and writer, and she also made an amazing trailer for her work Bullet Train To Murder! Talk about multi-talented, right? Sara is a very sweet person, too, and she's always trying her best to uplift the community, so I hope you guys show that same support back!

QuinceArchFortes with the book Passenger!

QuinceArchFortes, or Quince, is an active, incredible writer engaged in the community with an impressive set of books. I will always personally recommend Fallen, but any work you pick up by Quince is going to give you an entertaining and engaging read. Quince is also participating in the weekly writing contest with Frozen Fables, which is another great one to check out if you're looking for short but impactful reads!

Vedikha_Writes with the book Imagine This: Jeon Jungkook Edition - Chapter: Minutes: A Countdown to the Unknown!

Vedikha_Writes, or Violet Ink (awesome display name), is a fanfic writer who also does original stories, and I spy with my little eye a PJM fanfic titled Just Us on her profile... welp, I guess I know what I'll be reading after I'm done judging this entry. But my PJMs mindset aside, Violet has submitted a short from her Imagine This series here, which is a really cool idea for a short story series, and, hey, Jungkook's in it, so can't go wrong with that, right? If you guys like Jungkook, go check this entry out! I'd also recommend her whole profile, as she has cool poetry as well!

SSears90 with the book Fragments of a Fragile Mind!

SSears90, or just Sears, is a very popular BTS fanfic writer you likely recognize from countless contests, mine included, and stories. Sears has over 200 published works, with many of them of them having tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of reads, so you likely recognize Sears from somewhere, even if you didn't realize it before, haha. Sears is here to take on the short story category, and I'm excited to judge another one of her works!

morfusmax1 with the book Five Minutes!

morfusmax1, or simply MorfusMax, is currently working on Echoes of Home, a serialized fiction work with lots of fantasy elements in it, along with cool names, like Eorzea and Tsu'na. Sounds interesting, right? Now I want to read it! But first, I gotta read Five Minutes, the short story Morfus submitted to this shorts category! I'm so excited to read your work, and thank you for signing up!

Mochi711 with the book (Au) Revoir!

Mochi711, or Esi, is back for another Raven contest! Esi is a frequent participant of my contests, and recently, she's been dominating the weekly writing contest! I've also already read (Au) Revoir prior to this contest, so I'm excited to give it a full review! Esi has plenty of unique stories to offer on her profile, some fanfics, others originals, so I strongly suggest giving Esi's profile a looksie!

BookLover3062 with the book Frost and Fates.

BookLover3062, or Ava, is a passionate writer who you may recognize from the WHO Mini Awards for taking home an honorable mention in the fan vote category with her book Angels in Disguise, which was written in collaboration with the wonderfully talented bookwormrp! I also recommend checking out Dreams, which is a collection of short stories. Pretty cool idea to have a short story compilation with dreams being the theming. Thank you for signing up, Ava!
