I've been very excited to see the recent rise in interest in this contest!

Are you a Wattpader who likes to read?  Go ahead and submit your application to judge!  It's not too late to still take part!

Update (9/17/17): I'm spending like 4-7 hours a day on this contest, and I'm getting sleep deprived.  So please be patient, I am really trying.  I'm also working on trying to adopt a special-needs pet from out of state, so I have even less time than usual.

I've been getting a regular amount of pretty intense harassment over this contest.  There's no point in being hateful- this is supposed to make people feel good, acknowledged, be interesting, etc.  It's just a Wattpad contest.  If you hate this one, go ahead and make one that is more to your liking, don't call me names and go off about how much you hate my contest.

Also, while I've tried to keep all the entries' authors tagged as an inline comment to their entry, Wattpad keeps removing most of them every time I update the entry list.  So, I apologize, but I'm going to wait until the entry list is finalized to do anymore inline tagging, I've had a bunch of people get mad at me both for tagging or not tagging and I'm tired of it.

As a side note, for people interested in help finding other contests, I generally have quite a few in a variety of reading lists on my profile.  The labels I have on the different lists don't necessarily have any significance to anyone besides myself, but if you're looking for somewhere to start, it's as good a place as any.  I generally find contests by searching for 'awards' on Wattpad, then seeing if any I find are ones I would like to participate in.

One last thing.  There have been quite a few people disappointed that no further judges were needed for a category they had been interested in judging.  Because I've had so many judges bail, I have completely revamped the judging system.  You may apply to judge at any point before contest closure.
