Keep track of progress!
I thought it would be fun to have a place where people can see the progress being made on judging!
**REMINDER: My dominant hand sustained a major injury in October and it's slowing me down. I'm doing the best that I can. It was never my intention to draw the judging phase out for so long, but it is painful for me to use a computer mouse and I need to pace myself.**
Here is a table I made to show folks how many of the scores I have received and processed:
The table above was last updated _12/14/17_. (Any numbers that seem strange are correct, just trust me.)
Here is more info:

Aren't the judges so awesome and lightning fast? Yay judges!
Here's some info about how the judges are doing:
The above table was last updated _12/14/17_. Any numbers that don't seem quite right are correct here as well.
The Bottom Line:
(1) I am waiting on one very helpful judge to finish scoring 8 works as the tertiary judge. I still have yet to score 3 more as the third judge myself (I got tired of asking for help). I hope to be able to have all those results in and fully processed by early next week.
(2) At that point, I will verify that the authors of any works up for an award have followed the rules.
(3) After that, I will release the results for each category. Those works that place first in each category will go on to compete for Best In Show (B-I-S).
(4) At a minimum, I will be reading all entries competing for B-I-S and scoring them all, then averaging my score in with those previously given to each work. I hope to have as many other judges as possible participate as well, but I don't know how practical that will be. Many judges are entrants and/or underage. Thus, they will either not be eligible to score for B-I-S, or possibly disappointed and understandably no longer wish to continue volunteering so much of their free time.
(5) Following the announcement of the results of the B-I-S round, I will take a short break, then get to work on awarding prizes (to judges and authors of winning entries). As I've mentioned, I had an injury to my right hand a few months ago that has turned out to be far more severe than initially thought. It is painful at rest, and agonizing when I try to do certain things, like use a computer mouse. Thus, I apologize, but the awarding of prizes will go more slowly than I had hoped.
As an aside, please note that the tables won't be updated every day; I will do it when I can. Judges, please please get me your scores as soon as you can, so the contest can be finished as soon as possible. That way I can get to handing out awards all the sooner!
Again, thank you to the many people that have actually been nice, or at least neutral.
