So what is 'RPF?' As per Wikipedia's definition:

"Real person fiction or real people fiction (RPF) is a genre of writing similar to fanfiction, but featuring celebrities or other real people. In the past, terms such as actorfic were used to distinguish such stories from those based on fictional characters from movies or television series."

Note that Wattpad considers RPF to be a sub-type of fanfiction.

Concerning: Musicians/bands, actors/actresses, models, socialites, athletes, youtubers/other social media personalities, politicians, artists, any other 'real person/people' in the public eye.

I decided to create these awards when I noticed how many awards did not allow entry of stories classified as fanfiction, yet how many fanfiction-specific awards contests did not allow participation of RPF.
