Ali felt a black cloth covering his eyes.

Ali asked sounding worried but soon relaxed as the familiar scant of jasmine filled his nostrils.

Mariam said giggling. Her hot breath touched his ear making him shiver.

She giggled in thick surgery notes realizing what effect she has on him.

Kuch nahin. Bas aapko azadi ki taraf le ker ja rahe hain.

Mariam whispered in his ear sounding seductive.

He felt goosebumps all over his body. His heart beating loudly against his chest.

His breathes turned heavy. His heart raced and he gulped

Aap hum per bharosa karte hain na?

Mariam asked softly.

His heart raced. His breath got stuck in his throat.

Ali whispered in a breaking voice. His knees weakened.

Mariam said softly. She held his hand firmly.

Her hand brushed his nape making his breath hitch. He inhaled a forced breath through his mouth. She finally united the blindfold.

His eyes were closed. Breathes heavy due to the new erupting feeling inside him. Heartbeats doubled as his blood pounded up to his ears.

Eid Mubarak Ali.

Mariam whispered in his ear. He shivered closing his eyes and parted his lips feeling her hot ticklish breath in his ear.

Ankhein kholiye Ali.

Mariam whispered, her voice soft, in his ear. He fisted his hands digging his nails deep into his skin trying to calm his breathing as well as raced heartbeats.

Eid Mubarak.

Ali whispered loosing the last breath in his senses opening his eyes.

Her look

Aage dijiye.

Mariam whispered pointing her finger ahead.

He looked ahead at the moon in center and stars scattered around the whole sky.

Mariam.

Ali said looking at her.

Hmm.

She hummed softly.

Tum kise zyada ahamiyat deti ho? Safar jo lamhon ki yaadein de jata hai, ya phir manzil jahan taqdeer mukamal hoti hai?

Ali asked her, his voice soft but curious.

Mariam smiled going down the memory lane.

Mariam replied with a soft but tearful smile.

He looked at her with a knowing smile.

She held his hand and they walked ahead.

Woh dekhiye.

Mariam said softly. Ali looked ahead in awe.

Yeh duniya main humesha se dekhna chahata tha.

Ali whispered with a soft smile and dreamy look in his eyes.

Mubarak ho Ali. Aapke khwab poore ho rahe hain.

Mariam said softly. He looked at her. She looked at him with a smile remembering something.

Mariam called out softly.

Ali replied turning his face to look at her.

He looked at her confused.

Ali asked in confusion.

She smiled and winked at him.

Mariam said smiling naughtily. She held him by his upper arm and and tool a long step ahead

Ahhh!!! Ahhh!!! Ahhh!!!

Ali let some semi yells. They both rolled down on the ground laced with sand. Mariam came on top of him.

Flashback

They walked ahead.

Mariam whispered with a soft smile and dreamy look in her eyes.

Mubarak ho Marjina tumhare khwab poore ho rahe hain.

Ali said softly. She looked at him with a soft smile and then looked ahead.

Ali called out softly.

Mariam replied looking at him.

Ali asked her with a soft smile.

Mariam asked confused.

Ali smiled playfully at her innocence and winked at her.

Ali said. He held her in a Swift move and took a long step ahead.

Ahhh!!! Ahhh!!! Ahhh!!!

Mariam let out some semi yells as they both rolled down on the ground laced with sand.

He came on top of her and they looked at each other breathing heavily and raced heartbeats. She was amused at his playfulness as he smiled at her but soon smiled a little seeing his carefree nature.

Flashback ends!!!

He looked at her smiling at her playfulness as they stood up dusting themselves.

They both were looking at each other with eyes full of unsaid emotions.

Yeh kya ho raha hai mujhe? Kuch ajeeb sa ehsaas hai. Mariam ke sath ek ajeeb sa sukoon hai. Ajeeb sa apnapan hai. Kya ho raha hai mujhe.

He came out of his thoughts. Mariam looked at him and smiled making him smile too. They both looked at each other with so many unsaid emotions but the look in Ali,s eyes was different today. A look of acknowledgment. Maybe he had started to acknowledge his feelings for Mariam. Maybe he had started to name those feelings.

They both were still looking at each other still in their own world.

Mariam leaned in. Today something was different. He didn't wanted to move back. He closed his eyes. Their hearts were beating loudly against their chests. He cupped her face in his palms. They could hear their own heartbeats. Their bloods pounded up to their ears. Their lips were about to touch but the sound of fireworks destroyed their moment making them step back.

They both looked at each other for a moment then remembered what happened yesterday
(Previous chapter) and looked at the other side trying to avoid him. His heart pained.

But Ali wasn't the one who would accept defeat easily. He interlocked his arm with hers. She looked at him surprised. He wiped a lone tear that escaped her eye and shook his head sideways indicating her to not shed tears.

Aage dekhiye.

Ali said. They looked in the sky at the fireworks

Eid Mubarak.

They both wished each other at the same time and smiled at each other.
