The Titan was commissioned 20 years ago after I was built to combat the new threat called the Federation. Our planes have been shot down for the last few days, limiting our supplies. That's when we look towards the past to find our solution: The battleships, the great ships that stood the test of time as one of the greatest feat of engineering. I was the first of my class called Resurgent; The name implies that The battleships have been awaken and ready to do some damage.

We were upgraded to the next level, we took what made the Iowa a success, implement it, and improve on the design. The Federation is a technologically advance enemy, even our carriers have a hard time dealing with. Despite the politicians saying that we must keep using Aircraft carriers, my captain and crew didn't agree.

Soon I was built in secret, force to hide in the fogs and shadows. The crew adopted this and called themselves "Ghosts". Soon we defeated an entire federation Armada in one night and proved the world that battleships should continue to roam the seas. They began building bigger and badder ships, but we persisted and won the battles deemed impossible.

Now we are heading towards an Armada to attack a federation outpost just off the coast of the Untied Korea. While we were sailing, a battle took place there. Many ships of our Navy have been sunken here and only the lucky few made it out alive. Today was our lucky day. We sailed through the fog and awaited the Armada.

As time passes, however, the crew began to have that sinking feeling. Soon our adversary has arrived. Shells were flung, jets deployed, missiles shot and a lot of Boom. I plow through most of their defenses and made it to the outpost.

When we got there, they shot a weapon at us. We were lucky to dodge that, but then it reveal itself to be the dreaded Battleship of the Federation: Dreadnought. The Dreadnought was a powerful battleship, able to sink our Navy a few times. We were sailing towards each other aiming our turrets to the hull of the ship.

Soon we heard thunder, rain, and lightning. We looked up at the clouds as it began to darken. The siren was off as an indicator that this is no ordinary Storm; But it was a Maelstrom. The water that separates the vessels began to swirl into a large whirlpool.

The Dreadnought maneuver around the Maelstrom to attack us, but the crew decided the impossible. We pushed forward and into the abyss. We dropped to the waves as it carries us closer to the Dreadnought's rear. We began firing our weapons at each other, damaging the superstructure and the hull of each other ships. It came to a full broadside battle as bits of our ships have been torn off by the thunder of shells hitting the armor.

Not wanting to fail the mission, the Captain ordered his men to fire a BMG missile at the outpost. Soon the tides turn for the Dreadnought as the ship is pulled towards the abyss. We waited seconds for that boom. Then the missile hit it, destroying the Outpost all together in addition to severing the communications to the ships; The Dreadnought is now confused.

We aimed the turrets at the Dreadnought, waiting for an opening. The Dreadnought sees this and attempts to flee. We fire the shells, but all most unfortunately didn't hit it. When all Hope is loss, a single shell manage to penetrate the armor, blowing up the Dreadnought in the process. The crew cheered as the Dreadnought has finally sunk. They all closed their eyes and waited to meet at Davy Jones's locker, where we can finally rest.

However, Fate has other plans for me...
