As Dianna got dressed for their 19th anniversary dinner, she took a deep breath.  She put the stolen million dollar ruby necklace around her neck.  She checked her reflection in the mirror.  The necklace was hidden by the high neckline of her black dress.  The plan was to slip away during dinner to give the necklace to the contact.  She counted the $100.00 bills in her purse.  $5,000.00 to be exact.  Surely this was enough to get him to reveal who the big boss was.  If she had to as a last resort she'd offer sex.  She knew she be safe enough and the contact would refuse the sex as he often told her the boss liked her and wanted her unharmed.  She got the money from her credit card.  She would do anything to save her husbands life.  All she had to do was act cool and make everything that was to happen tonight seem like a fantasy and not the reality it was.  This whole nightmare would be over soon.  Then she could tell her husband the truth.

She walked down the stairs from their bedroom to find her husband waiting for her.  He was looking especially handsome tonight in the new dark gray suit he bought for the occasion.

"You look beautiful", he remarked as he kissed her.

"Ready for the adventure of your life?" smiled Dianna.

"Okay, lets see if you can top last year's fantasy", as he led her out the door.
