Midlogue: Let Day Four Begin

Alexander Seacrack's POV

We are looking at the metal door when they open and a large group of Peacekeepers comes out and attack us. Some struggle, I see Liam knock out a Peacekeeper. I struggle greatly but I am punched in the jaw before blacking out. I wake on a cold metal bed in a stone cell. I look around and see a metal tube and a set of doors, locked by a chain and lock. I get up and a loud clack rebounded on the walls as the metal tube open. A t-shirt and shorts is hung on hooks plus there are waterproof shoes on the floor. I put the clothes on and then a key is dropped out of a dispenser along with a note. Unlock the doors. I walk to the doors and unlock the doors before pushing it open. It was a blank room. I walked in and then the doors shut me into darkness. A torchlight ebbed on and crackled. A trapdoor opened above me and water crashed on me. The tube rises up and out of the rising sea before the trapdoor shuts. I see the sea and tributes, like me, soaking wet on their platforms. The Cornucopia counted down from sixty. North was a snowy plain with rabbits running. West was a jungle with monkeys leaping high in the sky. South was a tundra sparkling with ice in the sun and bears stared at us in the center. East was a swamp with frogs hopping from lily pad to lily pad. Forty seconds. I scanned the landscape. The Cornucopia was in the center on a large island. Multiple tiny islands was spread across the area with packs and weapons poking out of the sand. Thirty. I knew we may not live in the frozen sectors in the north and south because of our clothes. But there was fur coats, snow pants and other snow clothes in the big horn. Twenty. I breathed in the salty air that reminded me of home, District Four. Fifteen. All of the others had to go down, including my brother. A wave of anger rose in my heart, fuelled with determination. Ten. Nine. I hate the damn Capitol for putting me here not once but twice. Eight. Seven. Six. They will pay for this dearly. Five. Four. I'm going to win and no one will survive this horrible game. Three. Two. Except me. One.

Let Round Two Begin.

——————————-

If you don't understand this, you are at the metal door when Peacekeepers takes you and takes all of your weapons and supplies you had. The nurses use powerful Capitol medical treatment on your wounds for those who are wounded. Then they lock you in a room. You change into a new set of clothes, shorts, a t-shirt and waterproof shoes. Then a key is dropped and you unlock the doors to a dark room and the doors shut behind you. A trap door opens above you and you are splashed with water. The platform rises into a new arena. Twelve of you remain. And only one comes out.
