Chapter Seventeen: Kicking Her To Death

Dimond's POV

I'm in a volcano. A sizzling noise bounces off the walls and at my ears, lava. Hot, boiling lava. And it's rising. I glance over my shoulder to see my two opponents, Azalea and Liam. Great, another wonderful surprise the Capital provided in these amazing games (sarcasm.) They spot me immediately, and before I know it myself I'm climbing up the intense rock wall. Once I'm high enough I get ahold of my bow and arrows. At least I still have these bad boys. I'm about to shoot when something swirls around the volcano and knocks it out of my hands into the magma. Oh how lucky am I today. Just as I'm about to hoist myself onto the grassy plains, something yanks my leg. I almost fall but then latch my hand onto a sharp, edge rock. Blood trickles a bit on my hand. But it doesn't matter. No pain, no game, right? I look down to see the cause of this. I spot Azalea hanging from off my left leg, dangling above the lava. I give a hard shake, but she has a strong grip and doesn't fall. I glare at her with a hiss as I come up with a speedy plan. I have nothing, but in the corner of my eye something rolls down the wall. Rocks. I seize one and aim for her head. She laughs at me, not threatened at the "weapon." I fling it and it goes hurling for her head. She freezes as it connects with her skull and comes out the other side. I turn away from the bloody screen, hoping to erase it from my memory. Her grip looses and I manage to kick her off, ending her life. I really hope I don't have to do that again. But this is the games you either kill or be killed. I then make my way up the volcano with Liam on the opposite side.
