When I thought the wave was over, It began to started to change, morphing into the similar checkered layout of a chaos infusion, as several enemies of that universe begin to pop up

Guardsman: w-we don't know, these are completely different from the monsters of the wave

Y/N: they're beasts of chaos

Everyone but Y/N's Party: huh?

Lightning: beings infused with the power of chaos itself seeking only to wreak havoc

Sazh: Don't be wishing for a pleasant death, if you die to them , you'll become a part of that chaos itself

Hope: 'Light, Sazh, Y/N, the Miasma is only growing and only seems to slow down with every monster defeat, however there's a large amount of chaos energy condensed in the center you might be able to stop the wave if you stop whatever's there'

Y/N: 'on it hope'

Naofumi: okay enough of this higher knowledge Y/N, what's going on

Y/N: look Naofumi, a day will come when I explain everything to you, but that time is not now, if we don't solve this chaos situation more will die than ever in the waves, because unlike the waves it appears to be spreading and soon, could overtake the entire world

all parties involved were in shock, they were all skeptical on what to do, however Naofumi came to a decision

Naofumi: what do you need us to do

Guardsman: *gasp* sir hero

Naofumi: stranger or not, this kid seems to know more about what's going on than the rest of us, if we want to make it out alive, we're going to have to listen to him, so what's the plan

Y/N: well first off- DUCK

They all do that as I quickly pull out my Vegas and shot three Niblets coming straight at us, they get up to see me talking whilst continuing to fight them off

Y/N: this Chaos *shoots* Is similar *shoots* to the wave *shoots* in a specific way *fire magic*

whilst firing an Anubys is about to strike behind me but Naofumi summons an Airstrike shield to help

Naofumi: I got you're back

Y/N: Thanks

Y/N: *switches to Scavenger and throws Boomerang* anyway *punches Goblot* as I was saying the chaos like the Wave has a major enemy, this enemy has a large concentrated amount of chaos within, kill the enemy, stop the wave it's as simple as that

Naofumi: well then what are we waiting for then, lets hurry

Y/N: no, I need you Sazh and Raphtalia to stay behind

Raphtalia: but why sir L/N

Y/N: the rate at which it's expanding is incredibly fast *switches to savior and begins slicing away* worst case scenario the chaos engulfs the whole world and large casualties before we can stop it entirely, killing other enemies of chaos won't stop the infusion, but it will slow it down, we need all of you to keep it as small as possible and buy as much time as we can

Naofumi: okay but why us

Y/N: you can go and try to work with the three stooges then

Naofumi: touché, Just make it out alive, I still want answers

Y/N: 10-4 dude, Lightning lets go

Lightning: got it

Naofumi: ALRIGHT KNIGHTS YOU HEARD HIM, LETS KILL THESE BASTARDS AND BUY THEM AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE

[Timeskip] [Third POV]

the three run as fast as they can towards the center of the battle to see the three heroes badly injured and the knight that left earlier cowering in fear as he watches the three enemies approach

Y/N: HOLY SHIT

Y/N run as Quickly as he can to hopefully stop these guys as he sees the Captain about to get sliced down, begging for his life

R.G.C.: P-p-p-please, leave me alone, you want money, I have money, I give you anything everything, don't do it *actually crying*

Y/N stop for a brief moment in confusion to his begging, at a behemoth, the Behemoth, caring not for the matters of monetary values, swings down, He rushes in because even though the Guard's an asshole-... actually I have no follow-up for that, Either way if Y/N doesn't do something it'll only be worse and they'll try to pin it on the shield, even though they would have anyway- I should stop thinking about this and focus more on the fight

Malty: hey, what are you doing here, go back to the shield hero runt

Y/N (sarcastically): wow that's a new way of saying "thanks for saving my ass" besides no time for that, Lightning, you get the Reaver, I got the King

He pushes the Behemoth Kings blade forward and jump backwards, readying myself and switching to The Shadow Hunter Subclass, gaining a new style that's eazy to recognize

I pull out the Shadow hunter and spin it around me and jump to slash down on the Behemoth King

The King Barely blocks it in time and actually staggers him a bit Y/N doesn't stop and continues to swing at him, but while pushed back, he still remains standing, the King jumps to dodge and attacks with an electric diving strike, I backflip away, barely dodging and still getting some damage from the recoil

Y/N: *pants* geez this guy just won't let up 

Y/N turns to see that Lightning is trying to handle the other two behemoths at once while the other heroes try to get back up

Lightning: You're telling me, one behemoth would already be hard enough to handle on its own, handling a trio of them may take a bit more than what we have

Y/N: *switches to Risky Duelist* then I guess it's time to call in the Cavalry, RESUMMON: FLAMING SWORDSMAN

And just like that the Flaming swordsman Y/N summoned back in the town returned to me and began to fight with me, but he wasn't finished yet

Y/N: Now I use Polymerization to fuse the Alligator Swordsman and Baby dragon in my hand to Summon ALLIGATOR'S SWORD DRAGON

Y/N: Now, ATTACK THE FERAL BEHEMOTH WITH DRAGON FIRE AND FLAME SLASH

The two monsters charge, breathing fire and slashing their swords, however before they hit, the Reaver blocks the attack, and due to it's fire resistance, it deals some, but much less damage, resisting the attack, it retaliates and destroys the two monsters

Y/N: what the- The reaver...

Lightning: protected another

Y/N: Hope, is this normal?

Hope: 'while it isn't unusual to see Behemoths in small groups, them displaying this level of cooperation is unseen, the Chaos and wave combined must be influencing them in ways completely unknown'

Y/N: *dodges attack* we can worry about that later, for now, lets focus on not dying

unbeknownst to them, Motoyasu and the other heroes began to regain their bearings, but they weren't very appreciative of their help 

Motoyasu: *growls* I'm not going to be upstaged by a damned NPC

Malty: (hmmm, that must be an insult from their world) of course, you three are the chosen heroes, there's no way they should be able to do this

Itsuki: of course, so lets make sure they know it

Ren:...Right

And the three stooges charged in blindly, I wasn't able to do much as I was helping Lightning back up, Y/N tries to stop them

Y/N: HOLD UP DON'T DO THAT

Three Stooges: now, WITNESS A TRUE HERO

Ren: CRIMSON BLADE

Itsuki: WIND ARROW

Motoyasu: LIGHTNING SPEAR

Ren began to charge at the Reaver, Itsuki began Firing Arrows at the feral, and Lightning at the King, which proceeded to do absolutely nothing, The Reaver has Fire Resistance and Easily tanked the damage, the Feral was faster than it's size makes it seem and swiftly dodged them all, and the Behemoth king... Absorbs the lightning element Y/N was shocked by their stupidity and they didn't even, in fact, they try to brag about it

Motoyasu (Smug): how's that for a hero huh Y/N, perhaps you'll listen to us now

Y/N was kind of shocked, but Lightning was Pissed

Lightning: you IDIOT *grabs Motoyasu* DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU DID

Motoyasu: don't worry, it doesn't matter if their attacks failed, I killed the king, look at it, it's frozen, it's going to disappear any moment now-

Lightning: *slaps Motoyasu* SHUT UP, YOU KNOW NOTHING

Y/N: oh shit

Hope: 'Light'

Lightning: the Behemoth King ABSORBS LIGHTNING ENERGY, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS

Motoyasu: oh yeah, and how are you so sure

Y/N: *running towards them* crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap

Hope (Urgent): Light

Lightning: SHUT UP, SHUT UP, you know nothing about what is going on, you think your some hero, but your nothing but a DAMNED PUPPET UNDER A BITCHES FINGER

Y/N & Hope: 'LIGHT GET OUT OF THERE NOW'

they all turn around in shock just as Y/N transforms to the Quiet Guardian Garb and pulls out Night Lotus as the Behemoth King uses the absorbed energy and launches a powerful Strike of Lightning energy from it's blade like Thor, Y/N, being the only one there, takes the blunt of the blow, being sent back even with his form nullifying majority of the actual damage, it still hurt like hell as he was pushed backwards all the way into a tree right next to an oddly shaking bush

R.G.C.: ha, serves you right *behemoth roars* EEEP *hides back in bush*

Lightning: Y/N! *rushes over to him* are you okay

Y/N: I am fine, I am fine, I am lying, I am in pain *grunts and kneels down*

even with his injuries, the three behemoths were not going to let up, they began to walk towards the injured hero to finish the job, as Lightning stood forward in her Valhalla Knight form to protect him

Lightning: STAY BACK *aims weapon*

the Behemoths were about to form a coordinated attack when suddenly

???: ZWEIT AQUA STRIKE

???2: ATTACK HARPY LADIES

???3: DARK MAGIC ATTACK

???4: JAVALIN THRUST

A flurry of strikes hit them and the ground distracting them long enough for the mysterious figures to pull us out of there

???4: don't tell me you're giving up already Lightning

???2: are you okay darling

Y/N opens his eyes and realizes who the four were

Y/N & Joey: MAI

Mai: who are you and how do you know my name?

Y/N: understandable question but later, right now, we got a behemoth to slay

Hope: 'It sounds to me that you finally have a plan this time'

Y/N: yep, the three behemoths appear to have a pack mentality, but keep them separate, and they're just the individual monsters, each of which we fought before and know how to take down

Motoyasu: HEY who made you leader

Everyone else minus Malty: shut up Motoyasu

Y/N: anyways that attack of yours gave me an Idea on what to do, Yeul, you are the key to this, forget about attacking the monsters directly, focus on hitting the ground, disorient them and keep them dazed and separated

Yeul: On it *runs out*

Y/N: from there it's just individual picking of each of them, MAI, TEA, you take care of the Feral Behemoth, it's the purple one

Tea & Mai: alright

Y/N: Noel & Lightning, I need you to take on the Reaver

Noel & Lightning: Got it

Y/N: and finally *switches to Risky Duelist, the I'll topple the King

Mai and Tea look in shock as Y/N magically changes into the clothing of a familiar friend

Mai & Tea: JOEY

Y/N: yes and no, he's sort of like a being in my conscience but again, for later, because right now *switches duel disk to blade form* IT'S DO OR DIE

The 5 of us charge into three different Dust clouds as they ready for their battles

[VS Feral Behemoth]

Tea and Mai began to run towards the Feral Behemoth as Mai began to summon her monsters

Mai: resummon, Harpie Lady and Harpie Lady Sisters

Three lights shoot out of her duel disk, and land on the ground, forming into the mentioned monsters

Mai: now attack the Feral Behemoth, swarm them with your talons

the three harpies charge at the feral behemoth, slicing him up in several directions, as tea charges in to finish the job

Tea: I'll end this, DARK MAGIC ATTACK

the ray passed straight through the behemoths body as it howl in pain, beginning to glow white until its body distinguished to nothing

Mai: well that was oddly easy

Tea: I'm sure he had his reasons for giving that one to us

Mai: yeah whatever, but I'm not going to spend the next five minutes doing nothing, I'm going to head over to Mr. Joey wannabe to get some answers

Tea: okay, I'll go help the other group to see if they need any help

The two split up and run off to help the others

Mai: (that kid better have a good explanation for this)

[VS Reaver]

Noel and Light charged towards the reaver, Landing a coordinated x slash through him, the reaver, already agitated from the javelin rush, began to transform into his bipedal state

Immediately after he hit his opponents with a diving strike [0:54 - 0:56] causing them to stagger backwards a bit

Noel: jeez these guys don't pull their punches

Lightning: then neither should we

Lightning switches to her Fate changer form and begins to fire a flurry of bullets from her gunblade as Noel charges in with several froststrikes, keeping the pressure up, but not stopping him

Noel: this guy is taking longer than usual

Lightning: that's becaus we're no longer L'cie, or blessed by any sort of god, so our powers are substantially weaker than in the past, but that doesn't mean we can stop, we can't just wait for a miracle to pop out of the sky like some sort of fairy tale

and just then, an orb lightning falls from the sky and hits the Reaver, dealing tremendous damage and staggering him

Noel: ... you mean that kind of miracle

Lightning: Shut up, lets finish this

Lightning and Noel charge at it, Noel Launches the Reaver up and Lightning attacks it with an army of one

And just like that, the Reaver was reaped, the two not wanting to wait around, charged towards the dust where the king and Y/N was to lend a hand

[VS Behemoth King] 

Y/N is shown getting thrown back by the Behemoth as he gets back up, readying his deck

Y/N: Alright lets do this, *places a card facedown*

the Behemoth, unaware of the card he summoned, charged mindlessly with killing intent Y/N, however, had a plan, all he needed to do was buy himself time, he began dodging every attack and running like there was no tomorrow, because one wrong move and he wouldn't get one, the Behemoth got pissed at his running and charged up an orb of lightning, but this time, Y/N was ready for it, he pulled out Night Lotus in preparation, and when it struck, he push forward towards it with his shield up to contest it, the attack recoiled him backwards, but that was the plan, he use the force from the momentum to change his positioning and shield bashed the orb into the air

Y/N: *whistles* hope that doesn't hit anyone

he try to play it off as nothing, but he was tired out, that took a lot out of him, the Behemoth, seeing an opportunity arise, rush in with his blade in hand, ready to finish the job, but what he didn't know was that Y/N's opportunity came as well

Y/N: he, NOT SO FAST, I ACTIVATE MY TRAP CARD

he extends his left hand out and from his Duel Disk, emerges an odd looking blade attached to a chain, it spins around and ties up the Behemoth

Y/N: Kunai with Chain

the Kunai wrapped around it, however still needed to stand by to keep him restrained, so he shouted at the top of his lungs

Y/N: EVERYONE ATTACK NOW

and from the shadows, the other five emerged, all with attacks of their own at the ready

Mai: Harpies Feather Duster

Tea: DARK MAGIC ATTACK

Yeul: Rushing Torrent

Lightning & Noel: BLITZ

the attacks caused him to recoil back until he began to fall and collapse as he dissipated into light, the Sky returned to a normal color as a new hud began to show itself

and suddenly out of nowhere, the three stooges and the royal guardsman show up

R.G.C.: tch the three heroes could of done this without your help

Noel: says the one who hid like a coward

R.G.C.: WHY YOU

Ren: that's enough 

R.G.C.: HUH, but sir hero, they-

Ren: gave their lives to help us and saved many lives today, we could have done it without them, but they did it, and they deserve credit for that

R.G.C.: tch, fine

Motoyasu: he's right, we probably could've done it ourselves, but thanks anyway

Mai: well that's one weird way of saying thanks

Itsuki: you certainly did a lot more than some others here, *glares at knight*

R.G.C.: now now, don't be that way his highness has a celebration prepared and rewards for the THREE HEROES [he didn't yell, but he did put noticeable emphasis on this part]

the other five were getting annoyed at his speech and lack of care towards them, the spear however, ignorant to it all, decided to speak to us

Motoyasu: hey how about you come to the castle with us, the your acts deserve to be known and rewarded

Mai: sorry but-

Y/N: actually, we don't care that much about rewards, however if you speak so highly of him, we shall at the least attend

Mai was confused at the fact that Y/N interrupted her, but with how his plans have went so far, decided to go on with it

Malty: oh most splendid, let us get going right away (the sooner we get there, the sooner I can convince them to get away from that damned shield)

they "Heroes" began to walk ahead as the rest of them decided to stay by for a while

Mai: alright then, now talk

Y/N: long story short, Kaiba and another friend of ours, Snow, are in, Melromarc and are being blackmailed to work for them via their brother and fiance respectively

Tea: how?

Y/N: slavery

the two gasped at this realization, they heard it existed here, but refused to believe it

Mai: so I take it from what I heard he has a-

Y/N: yes

Tea: and until we can get it off he can't

Y/N: yes

there was a long silence of deep thought after that until Tea broke it

Tea: by the way, where did the other three go, they were just right by us

Y/N: oh, they went on ahead to get to the castle before those douches *points to the three heroes* 

[Meanwhile]

Noel: hey why are we trying to get to the castle before the others

Lightning: don't worry Noel, It's all part of Y/N's failsafe plan

Y/N: I have no Idea

and so the three of them began trekking towards the castle, as all the pieces began to mech together.

Hi its me again, once again I apologize for being late, I Just been really drained and lacking ideas as of late, I'm not going to cancel this, but I might put this on hold sometime after summer to focus on other stories, but you don't have to anticipate, I'm planning to post a Nintendo direct like story to show some of the ideas I have planned, but hopefully things won't be this slow, until next time though
