Day One (Afternoon)
Vance Blue's P.O.V. (D5)
My allies and I run away from the Bloodbath. Nobody got injured, except for Dean. He had to go way to the back of the cornucopia to get his blowgun, and Damon and Bryce were guarding it. He managed to get through them because Mason and Jarus started attacking them, but he got a bad gash down the side of his leg.
He limps close behind us. Then the canons go off, signaling how many deaths there were in the Bloodbath.
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!
Four. That hopefully is enough for the Capitol citizens.
"Guys, can we stop soon?" Dean calls, "I need to see if I can bandage this up."
Nathan, who is at the head of the group, stops running and finds a half-broken down house for us to stay in. We all pack ourselves into the small space.
Boards are scattered all over the floor, and half of the ceiling has caved in.
Nathan closes the creaky door, and joins the rest of us. We all settle ourselves on the floor and start opening our packs.
"I've got a rope, water bottle and some crackers," I say when I look through my pack.
Nathan says that he got a full water bottle, two pairs of gloves, and a small first aid kit. He takes out the medical kit and helps Dean.
Dean's pack has lots of packages of dried foods and apples, and some thin wire.
And finally, Blake's pack has a thin sleeping bag, a full water bottle and some beef jerky.
"Alright, we seem to have a sufficient amount of supplies. Hopefully, we won't have to make another trip to the cornucopia," I say.
Nathan finishes applying some sort of cream on Dean's leg and wraps it up with a bandage.
"Yeah, once everyone is rested up a little, we should move farther away from the cornucopia," Nathan says as he stands up, "I don't think it's really safe here."
"Yeah, I suggest we find a house near the trees, just in case we need to hide quickly," Blake says.
Nathan raises an eyebrow, "What trees?"
"There are trees surrounding the whole arena. Didn't you guys see them?"
I nod, "I did."
"Alright then, I guess we'll go there," Nathan says.
Eric Polt's P.O.V. (D5)
After I got away from the Bloodbath, I found a building to stay in. It's roof is slanted and the door is broken off its hinges, but aside from that, it seems to be a pretty sturdy structure.
Once I'm seated comfortably on the floor in the corner, I open my pack. It has a full water bottle, a sleeping bag, some sunglasses (which I assume are supposed to be night-vision glasses), two apples and a package of crackers.
"Not so bad," I say to myself.
I finally decide to sneak around the nearby buildings to see if any other tributes are around.
I leave my pack in my campsite, but I take my throwing axes with me.
I creep quietly out of the small house, and start to walk the streets. Broken pieces of cement and boards are scattered everywhere. The whole arena looks like a dump, or a town that was trampled by giants.
Suddenly I hear footsteps to my left. I dive behind a pile of boards and bent-up metal. I peek over the pile and see Jackson Toures, Brad Barlin and Conner Polister. None of them have packs. Only Brad has a small dagger. I feel bad for them. They're such a young alliance.
As they walk around the area, I try to decide whether or not I should kill some of them or not.
I finally decide to leave them alone and go back to my camp. However, before I get the chance to sneak away, Conner spots me watching them and starts to run towards me. Brad and Jackson are following him.
What should I do? I can't run, or they'll follow me and I'll have to end up fighting them eventually. I guess this means I'll have to fight them now.
I stand up, holding up my axes, "Wait!"
They stop running towards me, but Brad has his dagger pointed at me, "What?"
"I wasn't going to attack you," I try to explain, "I just wanted to see who you are and if you were a threat. But when I saw that it was just you guys, I was going to leave. I swear I'm not lying."
"Likely story. You were just waiting for the right time to strike," Brad says, taking a step closer with his dagger. My grip on my throwing axes tightens.
"How about you drop those axes?" Conner says, "Then maybe you can go."
I shake my head, "I'll fight you if I have to. I'm warning you guys. I'm going to walk away now, and if you follow me, I won't hesitate to kill you."
All three continue to glare hardly at me. I slowly take a step back, followed by another. Then I turn around and start to walk away from the three tributes.
Just when I think they won't follow me, I hear one of them start to run. I turn around as Brad slams into me, knocking both of us to the floor. My axes fly out of my hands.
Brad grabs my shoulder and rolls me onto my back. He sits on my stomach and raises his dagger over his head, aiming for my neck. As he brings the dagger down, my arms fly up to stop it. My hands catch his wrists and try desperately to push the dagger away. Brad pushes harder and the blade comes dangerously close to my neck. While Brad is concentrating on trying to slit my throat, he doesn't notice me bring up my knee and bang it into his back.
Brad shouts and his grip loosens on the knife. I take the chance to push him off me. He falls onto the ground beside me and I climb quickly to my feet. I find one of my axes lying on the ground a few meters away. I run over and just before I can get my hands on it, Jackson crashes into me, knocking me to the ground again. My hand searches frantically for my axe as Jackson proceeds to kick my side with his boot. Finally, my fingers find the steel handle of the axe and I toss it at Jackson as quickly as possible, and with as much force I could muster from my position.
I hear the axe find it's mark, and Conner shout "No!".
I climb to my feet as Jackson's body hits the ground.
BOOM!
I bend down and pull my axe from Jackson's corpse. Then I look at his allies, "I'm sorry. I told you this would happen if you tried to stop me."
I was sure they wouldn't follow me after that. I found my other axe and left the area as quickly as possible, leaving Conner and Brad with the now dead Jackson.
Jason Wolfe's P.O.V. (D12)
I lean on my spear as I sit near the open window of the little house our alliance found. It's small and pretty messed up, but I think we can stay here for the rest of the Games.
I watch my allies prepare for the night. Those who got sleeping bags are unrolling them on the floor, and everyone else is passing food around. Chance hands me a few pieces of beef jerky. I take them gratefully and continue watching the streets.
I chose first watch for tonight, so I settled myself on an empty crate near the only window of this rickety house.
I wonder what the next arena will be like, if I even make it that far. I feel pretty sure that I will though, because the last Games ended on day three. But then again, there were eight deaths in the first day. So far, we've only had five deaths. Four people died in the Bloodbath, and there was one canon earlier today, a little while after the Bloodbath.
"Alright, wake me up when your ready to switch," Luke says to me before he settles down in his sleeping bag.
Luke is the oldest out of everyone in our alliance, so we all kind of consider him to be the team leader. Besides, he and Chance are the ones that usually make the plans. Because of them, we are all alive and didn't die in the Bloodbath.
Jimmy was the only one who didn't get a weapon, but Luke gave him some of his throwing knives. Luke got a dagger and a lot of throwing knives at the cornucopia. He and Chance were the ones who actually went into the horn, the rest of us found packs outside, and if there was a weapon, we took it.
It was pretty easy to get things at the Bloodbath because the Careers were mostly focusing on Jarus, Mason, Anthony, and Don. I wonder how that turned out.
I sighed and leaned back against the wall. I want this all to be over already. I can't believe what this is like for the tributes who actually have reasons to be alive and siblings and friends that are in the Games. I don't have anyone to worry about but myself. I've always been an orphan back in District Twelve. If I ever did have people that I loved, I don't remember them at all because it would've been so long ago. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have family and friends, but now, I'm happy I don't. I'm happy that it won't hurt anyone to see me die, because I know it will happen. I won't allow myself to win when all these other people have reasons to live.
I shake my head and look back out the window. The arena is going to be the last place I'll ever see. No matter if it's this arena or the next, I will die in these Games.

Hi guys, so I was just thinking that it would be nice if I would get some feedback from you guys. I would appreciate it if you guys gave me your opinion on who you think should win and you can even tell me your favorite character!
