*A year and a half later*

(Name)'s P.O.V

Here we are. In the 3rd Great Ninja War. I never liked war. But it was kind of fun...unless you don't DIE. Today kakashi became a jounin and we all were supposed to give him a gift. Minato-sensei gave kakashi a special kunai,rin gave him a medical kit,i gave him a picture book of all the fun times that we all had together! And obito...well..he forgot to get him a gift. Right back to where i was,some hidden mist ninja's attacked us and kidnapped rin. Minato-sensei was not with us because he was needed on the front lines. Kakashi wanted to complete the mission but obito said that saving rin was more important than completing the mission.

I secretly agreed with obito because rin is my friend.

"Come on (Name) let's go."

I looked at kakashi with sad eyes.

"(Name)...."

I looked away and said. "I'm sorry kakashi...but rin is my friend."

I turned my back at him and jumped off into the trees with obito.

*A while later*

As we were fighting the hidden mist ninja's,kakashi showed up. Obito unlocked his sharingan and defeted one of the that taiseki guy who turned invisible and tried to launch a sneak attack on obito and kakashi lost his left eye. We entered a cave and I spotted rin tied to a post and was in a genjutsu.

"Alright boys. You two go fight the hidden mist ninja while I go and free rin, ok?"

Obito and kakashi nodded. I waited until the ninja were distracted and ran up to rin. I released the jutsu and shook her a bit.

"Rin wake up! Are you alright?"

She looked up at me and her eyes brightened to see me.

"(Name)! I'm so glad to see you!" She stood up and hugged me. I hugged back quickly and started.

"Right," I grab her hand and say.

"We have to get out of here!"

She nods and we start running towards the enterence. Suddenly one of mahiru's team mates mates came at full speed at us with a sword in hand. I punced his stomach and kicked him to a wall. His back but the wall and the wall crumbled.

'Whoah! I didn't know I had super strength!'

I felt my stomach turning in a knot and my heart beating fast.

Something bad was going to happen soon and i could feel it.

"Come on."

Kakashi and obito defeted all the hidden mist ninja's and we all were running towards the enterence of the cave and suddenly the cave started to come down.

"Come on!" Kakashi yelled. Suddenly a large boulder was about to fall onto kakashi but obito pushed him out of the way and got hit with the boulder.

"OBITO!!!" Rin and I yelled. I ran to him as tears welled up in my eyes. I kneeled next to him and put my hand on his visable cheek.

"O-obito..."

Tears ran down my cheeks and I couldn't hold my tears in.

"(N-name)..."

"Please obito! D-don't die on us!"

"My injuries are too serious to survive...I'll never make it."

His left side of his body wad crushed and was numb. Obito turned to kakashi and said.

"K-kakashi.. take care of rin a-and (Name)...protect them.."

Kakashi stayed silent for a few moments and said. "I will..."

Obito laughed and said.

"I didn't g-give you a gift..didn't I kakashi? Here,take my left eye as a gift from me."

Rin did the transplant and the roof was falling apart.

"We have to go now!"

Kakashi said as he help rin up. I looked at obito and he smiled weakly at me.

"(Name)! Come on! Take my hand!"

I looked one last time at obito and smiled sadly.

'I'll never forget you...obito.'

I took kakashi's hand and didn't look back.

"Obito...my bestfriend is DEAD!"
