Prompt: Choose a book that you haven't read, and write a fan fiction based on the cover.
I chose "Matched" by Ally Condie. Here it is:

It is colder than it's ever been. It is always winter, but it has never been this frigid. The glass dome around me is frosty with ice.

The little girl who owned the town in the glass ball was moving, and she packed the snow globe in a box. The box was placed in a car. It was too dark to see in the box. All I felt was a large jerk, and I heard a scream. The force of the jerk sent the box flying, and the snow globe rolled out when the box hit the ground, and it rolled into a ditch.

The town is going crazy. There is no way to get warm. Through the glass, I can see a crushed, silver car in the middle of the road. I want to help, but there is no way to get through the glass walls. I run to the edge of town, and I place a hand on the cold glass. I wipe some of the frost away, so I can see the wreck clearer, trying to understand exactly what is going on. The little girl's blond curls are tinted with blood, and her face is expressionless. A frozen tear is stuck on her lifeless cheek.

That was really short and sad, but at least I came up with something!
