6.) Summer Camp Day 2
...Day 2...
"Come on, Kivi-san... Aizawa sensei wants us out training," Ochaco yawns tiredly, nudging Kivi and trying to smooth her hair down to no avail.
"It's 5:30 in the... fucking morning," Kivi growls sleepily. "I'm not going... Tell Aizawa to... fuck off. It's summer vacation, and I chose... to come here. I'm gonna sleep in like I should. I don't need the... training like all you... losers do. Tell him I'll be out in... 7 hours." She rolls over, passing out right back asleep.
The girls give each other tired looks before leaving to the training grounds.
"Where's Kivi?" Aizawa immediately asks.
"She told me to tell you to... uh... I can't use that vulgar language... but uh, she said she's gonna sleep and be out here in 7 hours," Ochaco mumbles with a yawn. "She said she chose to spend her summer here and that she doesn't need the training like the rest of us do."
Aizawa sighs, irk mark appearing. "Well, she's not totally wrong about needing to train... She was up late last night training anyway..."
"That blue haired bitch!" Bakugo shouts angrily, exploding his fist into his palm. "Why does she get all these free passes?!"
"Probably cause you're too hotheaded, ribbit."
"What was that frog face?! I'll kill you!"
~~~
Kivi finally awakens at the time she said she would. 12:30. She lets out a yawn.
"Alright, Dusk. Let's get cleaned up and head out to train, okay?"
Dusk stretches his body out with a big yawn. "Rrar."
"I brought you here because you were pitching a fit, but I also brought you because I haven't trained with you as much as Hades and Lucifer. I mean they are much bigger than you," Kivi says as she changes into a tank top and some shorts. "Alright, let's head outside for you to go to the bathroom then we can get some lunch."
After they finish, they head to the training ground. It's simple to find as a large explosion is released into the air every few seconds.
"It's about time you got here," Aizawa voices once he sees her.
"Yep."
"I assume you already know what you need to improve?"
"Yep."
"Then get."
She nods and heads over to the group of boys doing a silly dance.
"What are you doing?" she asks Izuku.
"Training," he breathes out.
"Alright, boys," Kivi claps. "Time for some joined training." She surrounds herself along with Dusk in a force field. "Try and break it. All at once."
The three boys power up and begin punching her shield to no avail. Other students head over and begin to wail on the shield as well. Izuku, 3 Class 1-B boys, red hair, monkey lion tail boy, pinky, arm boy, belly beam boy, and big lips.
"Holy crap this shield is strong!" red boy shouts.
"No one has ever broken through my shield," Kivi says proudly. "The only capable person is All Might."
"That's right!" pinky exclaims. "He cracked your shield when you two were fighting!"
Kivi walks out of the shield, much to the surprise of everyone. "Don't worry. You can still hit it. I'm just going to be practicing something else as well. I gotta get even better at multitasking."
"Wow, you're so manly, Kivi-san!"
She moves to an open space and kneels down beside Dusk. "You ready?"
Dusk looks at her with what seems to be a nod. "Mraor."
Kivi nods and sets her hands on his side, pushing her energy into him. He begins to grow and she stops just as he passes the height of the monsters they fought yesterday.
Class 1-B looks on in awe along with most of Kivi's class.
"Alright Dusk," Kivi smirks. "Attack."
Dusk begins chasing everyone around, causing everyone to scream.
"Kivi," Aizawa growls.
"Whaaat? It's good training for everyone," she admits.
"Yes, I'll admit it is, but it's not for this training camp."
"Well, it's not like I can do this back home. Plus Dusk needs the training."
Aizawa sighs, watching some classmates rallying together. "Fine."
Kivi nods and begins working on what she's actually needed to do this whole time. The reason she came was to practice making a giant force field as quickly as possible. The bigger it is the faster she can protect a large crowd of people.
~~~
Sunset comes and training ends. The classes meet back at the base at the picnic tables to eat.
"Now! Remember what I said?!" Pixie Bob shouts. "We're not serving your food anymore."
"If you guys wanna eat, you'll have to make your own meals!" a green haired yellow cat girl says. "Starting with curry!"
Kivi gives a shrug and moves to take the ingredients and heads off to her own station. She ignores everyone around and immediately begins making her food. She finishes before anyone else and takes notice to when Kota walks off into the woods by himself. Dusk and Kivi follow him stealthily. They see him move to walk up a path to view a cliff, so they instead follow beneath and climb up -or walk up by her mana discs- at the end by a cave.
Kivi immediately takes notice to the large impact crater on the rock wall before her. "He must be practicing his quirk..."
Before Kivi can walk out, Izuku speaks out to Kota. Kivi stays in her place listening in.
"Get lost!" Kota screams at Izuku.
It's silent for a bit before Izuku responds. "Hey, about your parents... I was wondering... were they the water hose heroes with the water quirks?"
That sets Kota off and continues his shouting at Izuku.
"Go away!" Kota growls. "Everyone here's so crazy... calling people stupid names like hero and villain and killing each other because of it! Always focusing on their quirks! If they hadn't been showing off they would still be here! Idiots..."
Izuku goes on to tell a story about his 'friend' with no quirk but obviously it was about himself from the tone of his voice.
All Might must've really given his quirk to Izuku... Wonder how he did that?
"Mrow?" Dusk meows, nudging her.
"Hold on, Dusk," Kivi whispers.
Izuku eventually leaves, and Kivi peeks out from around the corner.
"Shut up. All of you... just stop it," Kota mutters.
Kivi begins to laugh, making Kota spin around quickly.
"It's funny how defensive you are about this topic when you yourself practice your quirk on this wall over here," Kivi says, brushing her hand over the cracks.
"Who are you?!" Kota shouts.
"Ah, I'm Kivi. I'm here for the camp."
He crosses his arms. "Go away then."
"Nah," Kivi says, moving to sit on the edge of the small cliff side. Dusk sits beside her. "This is a great view. The sky is so pretty. I love the dark."
"I said go away!" he shouts again.
"Or what?" Kivi provokes.
"Just go away!"
"Make me."
"I'll tell on you!"
"Go ahead. You gonna cry to Mandalay and tell her I was bothering you with my presence?"
He pouts. "Just go away!"
"Again, make me," Kivi says, turning to him with a vexing smirk. She turns back to look at the sky. She hears a sloshing sound behind her, so she puts a barrier over herself and Dusk. The water smashes into it and drips off lazily. She turns to him. "That's more like it! That all you got? Not gonna get anywhere with the weak power you just showed."
He growls. "Leave me alone!"
Kivi appears beside him. "How about some help?" She places her hands onto him and pushes energy into him, making him more powerful. She backs away quickly. "Now, let's see what power you got now?"
Kota looks at his hands confused, feeling the energy flow through him. "What did you do to me?"
"I gave you some extra power," Kivi smirks. "Now how about you use it on me?"
He growls and forces out his quirk, blasting a powerful stream of water. Kivi summons up a small platform shield to block with a smirk.
"W-whoa?!"
Kivi grins, moving up to him and ruffling the top of his head. "Look at that. That is some quirk kid."
He shoves off her hand with a blush. "You're a-annoying!"
"Wanna do it again?" Kivi asks.
He looks at her in slight awe before lightly nodding. "Y-yeah..."
Kivi suddenly stiffens. "How about we do it another time? We need to head back to camp now."
"What? Why?!"
Kivi scoops him up, looking off into the distance she feels the familiar energy coming from. "Something's wrong, and I need to go tell Aizawa. Dusk, let's go."
They race back to camp, and Kivi sets Kota down by Mandalay before looking for Aizawa.
Aizawa sees her rushing towards him with slight widened eyes. "What's wrong?"
"Villains," she voices straight to the point. "Two. At least two that I know. There might be more."
"How do you know?" Aizawa asks, suddenly more aware.
"I... eh hehe... um... Alright, so anyone who has been in my force field or that I've absorbed energy from, I'm able to track them from anywhere in the world and know their quirks. Two villains from the League of the Villains are nearby."
"How do you know their energies? You weren't here when we met them."
"Yeah, uh... I kinda confronted them..."
"You what?!" Aizawa sternly shouts. "Kivi! You know I'm the one that has to watch you while you're here."
"We both know why I'm here," Kivi sighs. "I'm not going anywhere. Not that I can..."
Aizawa sighs agitatedly. "I'll keep a close watch tonight. What are their quirks?"
"One is a man with black hair and scarred skin, he has some kind of fire power like Endeavour's. Then a blonde girl, she has a shapeshifting power using blood from who she's turning into. Want help?"
He sighs. "You're just a student."
"You and I both know I'm more than that," Kivi huffs. "Whatever." She storms off to the hot springs to 'cool' off.
The other girls begin to arrive.
"Hi, Kivi-san," they greet.
She doesn't return a greeting but sinks lower into the water.
Kivi finishes and wraps herself in a towel before grabbing her clothes and heading off to the girl's room. Along the way she bumps into Bakugo.
"Oi! Blueberry! Put some clothes on!"
She turns to him blankly, looking at just his towel wrapped around his waist. "Oi, Pomeranian, put some clothes on yourself."
"What'd you call me?!"
Kivi smirks and pushes him against the wall, grinning up at his flushed face. "I said, 'Pomeranian.' You gonna do something about, blasty?"
"W-what the hell are you doing?!" he grunts, looking away from her face as little explosions begin to go off in his hands.
"Aww, look how cute you are when you're flustered! Never been this close to a girl before, firework?" she teases, pulling his pink cheeks. "Oh, this is rich. Little virgin, Bakahoe."
"Who said anything about me being a virgin?!" he huffs.
She presses herself against him further, lightly running a hand across his chest which sends tingles across his whole body. "Whatever you say, Kacchan~" She steps away from him, heading into the girl's room.
An explosion sounds behind her. She laughs as she closes the door.
...
The next day, day 3, everyone is out training again. Kivi decides to head out to Kota's 'secret' hideout. Dusk remained behind, again as a giant to help train himself along with the students. Kivi will simply heal any injuries later.
"What are you doing here?!" he scoffs.
Kivi grins. "I'm training. What are you doing? Pouting as usual?"
"No!" he scoffs, turning his nose up.
Kivi chuckles. "Alright, hot shot. How about we pick up where we left off?"
"Why are you doing this?" he scoffs.
"Cause I know you want this deep down," Kivi says. "That indent in the rock over there wouldn't be there if you didn't. You're working on your quirk to try and make it stronger. Let me guess... revenge for your parent's killer?" Kota tenses. "Hit the nail on the head, huh?"
"Go away!"
"Hmph," Kivi chuckles. "Alright, then let me help you get stronger. Once you get big and strong, you can take down that monster. Promise?" She holds out her pinky.
He looks at her pinky before looking up at her face. He wraps his little pinky around her own. "Promise."
"Good. Now let's begin."
~~~
Nightfall comes fast and Pixie Bob has decided to pin the classes against each other. Kivi ends up paired with Izuku to go last.
After most of the class heads into the woods, Kivi tenses up.
"Something wrong, Kivi-san?" Izuku asks.
"Villains!" Kivi shouts. "We need to get the students now!"
"Huh? Villains?" Mandalay voices confused.
"There's... two villains and I don't think they're alone," Kivi says.
"How do you know?" Izuku asks.
"Two of them were in my shield before," Kivi explains. "I know their energy."
Mandalay let's out a message to everyone. The air begins to smell vile and black smoke is visible. Pixie Bob is grabbed then slammed to the ground with a concrete pillar. Two villains are revealed. A lizard looking dude and a normal looking thug with the concrete pillar.
Izuku suddenly gasps. "Where's Kota?!"
Izuku and Kivi eventually end up running towards his secret base. Confronting and about to pound Kota is a large man in a black cloak. Kivi surrounds Kota in a bubble and forces him back out of the punch's reach. Kivi and Izuku slide in between Kota and the villain, protecting Kota.
"What are you doing?!" Kota shouts at the two, tears rolling down his face.
"Huh..." the man voices. "Now the two of you I recognize. You two are on the list."
