"So, what you're saying is that Jake is back in town? No way!" I said just talking about my old childhood friend, Jake Cap. The one friend I used to dance with when I was sad, the boy that had my back since I was born, even had some feelings for, just small crushes here and there.

"Yep, my twerp of a step brother is coming back to this hell hole." Aunisa said rolling her eyes.

"Okay sorry, what is going on?" Mark said completely oblivious to the conversation. Honestly I forgot he was even there but I couldn't just tell him that.

"Oh ya, so what's going on is that Aunisa here has a step brother named Jake Cap and he and I used to be best friends, we still are but we don't talk anymore because he moved. He was born a year older than me and when I was born the first person who held me was Jake. We have always been in the same classes because he would cry for hours until his parents would agree to let him wait a year to go into school because he wanted to be with me, it was really cute."

"Oh, okay got it."

"So anyway he should be back now." She said. "Okay lets go!" I said running to Aunisa's car.

"Jake!! Is that really you?" I said running up to Jake and jumping up onto his back."(Y/N) I've missed you so much, come here cupcake!" Jake said turning me around and giving me a huge bear hug.

"Cupcake?" Mark said looking at the both of us with question in his voice.

"Oh ya, Mark this is my great friend Jake. Jake, this is Mark, we just met today but I think we're going to be good friends!"

"Hello. It's nice to meet you. (Y/N) hasn't been bad has she?" Jake said putting a hand out to shake Mark's.

"Uh, Hi? Not yet anyway." Mark said hesitating to shake Jake's hand like he's diseased or something.

"It's okay I don't bite." Jake said in a joke kind of voice.

"It's true Mark, It's not like he's going to eat you. Unless you hurt me. You should have seen the look's on the dickhead's that tried to take my ice cream when I was in 2nd grade." I said trying lighten the mood.

"Ya, I'm pretty sure that after I looked at them, they shit their pants."

Mark mumbled something I couldn't here.

"Sorry, what?" I asked. "Oh, um. Nothing. So anyway are we going to go back to the party? The boys are probably waiting." Mark said clearly uncomfortable for some reason.

"Oh, um I'm sorry Mark could we possibly take a rain check? Because you know, Jake just got back and all."

"Oh, okay I'll just go and hang with the boys I guess." "No Mark You can stay here and hang with us." I said trying to convince him to stay.

"No, Jake probably just wants to hang with just you and not have to deal with a third wheeler." Mark said trying to just leave but I'm not taking no for a answer.

"No I don't mind at all we can watch movies." Jake said clearly on my side in this.

"No I couldn't compose." Mark said.

"Fine be a party pooper." I said turning away and crossing my arms all childlike.

"Fine, Do you have harry potter movies?" Mark said with an eyebrow up.
