(7 years later)

It had been seven years since Gray and the others disappeared.Over that time you had changed dramatically.You cut your waist long hair so it only reached your shoulders and it was always tied into a messy ponytail.You wore a purple shirt the sleeves ending a few inches above your wrist and on top of it was a cropped black button up shirt that ended at your shoulder and was always unbuttoned.

You wore blue leggings that ended at your knees and you wore black boots.Your personality changed too.Over the years you built a wall that prevented any emotions from showing,but you only smiled at Storm or Lyon.You travelled the land doing jobs and donating some of it to Fairy Tail,but every year you would go back to Fiore and visit the guild,this year was different...

You walked through the guild doors and you saw everyone there.Gray,Natsu,Lucy,Erza,you wanted to be hapoy but it seemed over the years you had lost your feelings for Gray.You showed no emotion and walked to the bar and got a drink...

(Gray's P.O.V)

We were back and a strange looking girl I had never seen before came in,somehow she looked so familiar.Natsu,who was next to me sniffed the air,I looked at the pink haired dragonslayer.

"What is it?Smell food again?"I said sarcastically.

"No that girl,she smells like Y/N"Natsu said.

I didn't have his superior sense of smell but I knew it wasn't Y/N,if it was she woud've flung her arms around me and be happy I was back.

"That isn't Y/N,i'm sure of it"I said,but I was so wrong.

The girl stood up and walked out,when I looked at her again she really did look like Y/N but she acted different,maybe she had a sister she never told me about?

"Gray that is Y/N's smell,I know it"Natsu said.

I grunted and stood up.

"It ain't Y/N and i'm gonna prove it"I said walking up to her.

I tapped her shoulder and she turned around,she had her eyes but it showed no emotion.

"What?"she asked irritatedly.

"Y/N?Is that you?"I asked.

"Yeah,it is me.Now what is it you want Fullbuster?"she asked coldly.

"Y/N what happened to you?"I asked worriedly.

"Nothing Gray"she said before leaving.

I wasn't satisfied,something changed Y/N.I pinned her to the wall and she growled.

"Gray!"she shouted.

"Y/N what happened?"I asked trying to sound serious but I failed,my voice was full of hurt and it unaffected her.

She pushed me and placed her hand on my shoulder,it put my hopes up but it soon disappeared.

"Gray,you were gone for 7 years,i'm afraid in that period of time i've lost the feelings I had for you"she said before walking away.

I fell to my knees.

'No,why?'

A tear fell from my cheek.

'No,Y/N isn't like that,i'm not giving up on her'

I walked to my house,where she and Storm were.I pinned her down on the bed and for some reason tears fell again...

(Y/N's P.O.V)

Something wet dropped on my cheeks,Gray?

"Y/N,please,come back to me"Gray said even more tears falling.

You blinked and just like that the barrier you had built over those 7 years shattered.You placed your hand on his cheek and smiled weakly.

"Gray"

He smiled at you and you wiped away the tears from his eyes,he lifted you and hugged you,you wrapped your arms around his neck and you could hear him fight back tears.

"I thought I lost you"he whispered.

"You almost did Gray,thanks for bringing me back"you whispered.

He pressed his forehead against yours and you closed your eyes.

"How did you manage all those seven years?"he asked.

"At first I believed you'd come back,soon enough I lost hope and just kept going.If you really were dead that's what you wanted me to do"you said.

"So you thought I was dead?"

"Uhhh,yeah for a couple of years.Anyway what happened on Tenroujima?"

"We fought....a dragon named Achnologia"

"Stop bluffing Fullbuster"

"I'm not bluffing"

At that second he pinned you down again and his face was so close you could feel his breath.

"G-Gray w-what are y-you d-doing?"you stuttered.

"Something I shoud've done 7 years ago"...
