The next day Aliyah got a text message from Amina.

Emergency meeting. At Ifrah's. All must be present. After Asr.

Aliyah took a shower and prayed Asr. She went to Amina's place and asked her if she could give her a ride. Amina told her to wait as she hadn't  prayed yet.

Aliyah sat on the sofa and stared at the ceiling. She had only attended one SDG meeting and she loved it. The girls were nice and she was excited to go there again.

"Asalam Alaykum." Someone said bringing her back. She sat up and looked at her. She looked different. Transformed to be exact. Her messy pony tail was covered. Her sad eyes were replaced by shinny ones. She was wearing a brown Abaya.

"Waalaykum salaam." Aliyah answered.

"Am sorry about last night. That was rude of me." She said and Aliyah smiled.

"No, it's okay." Aliyah smiled at her.

"I am Rukhayah. I wasn't in the meeting so we didn't get to meet." She said. They exchanged a few words and Aliyah liked her immediately. She reminded her of Isabelle.

At Ifrah's the girls were all waiting patiently for Amina. She was the one that had called the meeting.

"Why isn't she here?" Jade was getting impatient.

"I am here!" Amina shouted. She likes making a grande entering. The girls gave salaams and Amina finally got to business.

"We have issues. Rukhayah has been having a major problem. She confided in me. Made me promise not to tell. But today I want you guys to know her boss has been abusing her physically." The whole room was filled with gasps. Everyone looked shocked expect Ifrah. She always knew. She had figured out on her own. "For long now I have been trying to get her to quit her job but she never listened."

"She has finally quit her job and now she needs a place to live. I told her she is welcomed to stay with me but  she claims  that she was feeling guilty since she didn't tell you all about it." Amina took a deep breath. "Men! Feels good to let it all out."

There was an awkward silence. Then everyone started talking at  the same time. Each telling Rukhayah she can move in with her. Seeing all these made Aliyah's heart warm. Just then Rukhayah started crying. She was overwhelmed by how nice the girls were to her.

They all ran to her and hugged her. Aliyah sat back and watched.

"What are you sitting there and crying about?" Iman said. "Come here!"

Aliyah ran and joined the group hug. She didn't even realise she was crying.

After eating cookies and juice the girls asked Rukhayah to decide who she would move in with.

"That's not fair." Rukhayah complained. "It's like asking me to chose between Ice cream, pizza, burger, chocolate, cookies, parathas, roti, nachos -"

"We get it fatso! You love food so much." Jade said. "Just decide."

Rukhayah looked around. Rehan was always so sweet and caring. Jade was always a sweetheart. Ifrah has always got her back. Amina was easy to talk to. Iman was so nice to her despite there difference. They were all so close to her and they were all her best friends. She couldn't chose.

"I can't. I would rather stay homeless than have to chose between my best friends." The whole room went silent and Aliyah felt the need to rescue Rukhayah.

"I am not your best friend." Everyone was surprised when she spoke. "You can move in with me and no one will complain you chose one of  your besties over the others."

They all kept quite and looked at each other.

"Sounds fair to me." Amina said. "So long as you don't chose Jade over me."

They were whispers of "it's okay."

Aliyah felt suddenly excited. She was going to have a roomie. She ran and hugged Rukhayah. At that moment she had no idea Rukhayah was going to play a big part in her life. That that hug would be the first of many.

"Okay snap out of it princesses!" Amina said.

"First you have to take me to that house so that I can take my things." Rukhayah said and Aliyah nodded.

Asalam Alaykum Another chapter done! Alhamdullilah I wanna finish this story ASAP. I wanna start doing poetry In Sha Allah.
