Rey's POV
"Watch out!" I shout, as Ben almost hits part of the canyon. "Pull up!" I tell him.

He obliges and pulls up. A station comes into view, but there's no lights on.

"Think it's occupied?" Ben asks.

"Looks like a water downed version of Yavin 4." I reply, scanning the damaged landing pad.

"Well let's take our chances."

"All we can do until they run out." I reply and get up from my sit and head into where Apollo and Kayla are. "We're landing." I inform them.

"I've never been off Tatoonie." Apollo says.

"Well this planet is very different. There's water falling from the sky, called rain."

"Water is falling from the sky? For free?!" Apollo's eyes lights up.

"Yup. Be careful when you go out though. You can fall."

"I will. I'll hold your hand." Apollo smiles.

I smile back and feel the Falcon land softly.

Ben joins us. "Old imperial station, looks abandon."

"Just like Yavin 4." I smile and Ben smiles back pulling me in for a hug.

"Any chance this ship has some rain coats?" Kayla asks.

"Yeah." Ben pulls away and goes to get one.

I crouch down next to Apollo. "How are you feeling?"

"Excited." He beams.

I smile at him. He can only stay distracted so long before he realizes he has no left.

"Looks like Apollo gets my old one from when I was his age." Ben smiles and hands Apollo the little dark blue jacket. "My lady." He hands me an old beat white one that looks built for snow like on Starkiller Base. "Here you go." He hands a heavy brown coat with fur trim to Kayla.

"Thank you." Kayla says accepting the coat.

"Look at this cool pocket!" Apollo opens his coat revealing a small pocket fit for hiding something.

I zip up my jacket. "Ready to go exploring?" I ask Apollo.

"Yeah!" He jumps in the air.

"Make sure you hold Rey's hand and stay with her." Ben tells Apollo as he lowers the ramp.

The chilling breeze sweeps around us, blowing my hair about and raising my goosebumps.

"Big change from Tattonie, huh?" Kayla says.

"Yeah." Apollo says kind of amazed and slips his hand into mine.

Here. Ben slips me one part of my saber as he slips by and I pretend to fix my boot and quickly slip it inside and secure it.

"Okay, ready?" I smile down to Apollo.

He nods enthusiastically.

Ben leads the way with a flash light on top of his blaster.

We carefully dodge holes and make our way into the base.

Entering is easy, considering the front has been blasted wide open.

"Empire." Ben shines his light on the symbol.

"Going to search for a Darth Vader office now?" I tease.

"No." Ben plays along.

"Let's find a place to rest though." Kayla sighs.

"There's rooms on the Falcon." Ben informs her.

"Then why are we searching this dump?"

"Looking for resources and exploring."

"Well I'm going back to the ship." Kayla tells us and retraces her way back.

"Let's go in there." Apollo points to an office.

I jiggle the door and find it locked. "Locked."

"Not for long." Ben smirks ans kicks down the door in one blow.

"You have to teach me that." Apollo grips to his leg and Ben picks him up.

"One day buddy."

There's old holopads scattered about on the desk and a filing cabinet broken into and shuffled through.

"Looks like this office contained something important." I observe put loud.

"Yeah, for now it has free technology." Ben puts Apollo down and grabs the holopads on the desk. Apollo follows his lead. "Whatever is damaged set back down." Ben tells him and they begin setting some down.

I go to the cabinet and see miscellaneous papers of structures out of files.

I go to the desk and sit in the chair, then begin searching through its contents.

"Holopad pens." I hold up a handful and Ben takes then, storing them in his jacket.

I come across a picture of what appears to be a family.

There's a man with his hair pulled back, a woman with a similar hairstyle, and a little girl with braids.

They don't smile, maybe were told not to, but I could imagine them being a happy family.

"Rey?" Ben's voice breaks me away from the picture.

"Yeah?"

"Let's go." He nods his head to leave.

I agree with a nod and look at the photo one last time before placing it on top of the desk.

We slowly and carefully make our way to the Falcon with 5 holopads and however many pens.

"Okay let's get you into something dry." I tell Apollo, as I strip his coat from him.

"Kayla, I'll fix you up a room." Ben says.

"Hold on, before you do that. Can I ask you both something?"

"Sure." Ben says and I nod in agreement, standing up from where I knelt next to Apollo.

"Who are you both really?" Kayla asks seriously.

I swallow hard. Busted. I voice to Ben.

Deny, deny, deny.

"We're Jedi." I tell her before Ben can lie.

She nods, as if she already knew. "And your real names?"

"Rey Kenobi."

"Ben Solo."

"So what I'm hearing is Rey the resistance hero who went missing when Palbi Ren went into power."

"That was me." I bow my head in shame.

"And old commander of the First Order, Kylo Ren."

"That was me as well." Ben says. "But we have changed."

"Then why is the Resistance after yoy both?"

"General Organa is my mother."

"And you?" Kayla asks me.

"Because I was in charge of the First Order, probably want information from me." I say.

"And why don't you tell them?" Kayla presses.

"My mother has search teams out looking for her and now myself with an interrogation room with her name on it... She tried to kill her once and I don't trust her to be near her anymore." Ben says in my defense.

"Is anyone nice in the world?" Apollo asks shyly.

"I would like to think so." I kneel to eye level with him.

"Are you nice?" Apollo says with tears in his eyes.

"I try to be."

"She is when she isn't brainwashed." Ben cracks a small smile.

"I think they're nice people who got caught up with war and have found a more simple life now. What do you think Apollo, are they nice?" Kayla asks Apollo.

"Yeah." Apollo smiles and then hugs me.

I hug tightly afraid he'll let go before I am ready.

"Now that you know the truth." Ben begins and Apollo and I's hug ends. "Can you play the role with us?"

"What role?" Apollo asks.

"Well Apollo, you could be our son?" I suggest.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes." Apollo jumps up and down then runs over to Ben who picks him up in a hug.

"Who shall I be?" Kayla asks.

"Ben's mom?" I suggest again.

"Why my mom?" He counters.

"Because your real one is the leader of the Resistance. Would you question her if she claimed she gave birth to you?" I ask and Ben glances at Kayla who puts her hands on her hips.

"Um no."

"Didn't think so." Kayla says in a grumpy voice then cracks a smile.

"It's settled then." Ben says and puts Apollo.

"Let's just do one more thing before we leave." Kayla says.

"What's that?" I ask, curious.

"I can dye Apollo's hair to match Ben's almost. He already looks kind of like Rey."

"Yeah let's do it!" Apollo says excitedly.

"Okay, we'll leave it to grandma." I smile at Apollo then Kayla, who gives me a wink.

"Let's go decide our course." Ben says and slings an arm around me.
