Try Not To Fall Over, Avid!

The whole library was chaos. People were running to the doors, then running away from the doors, little kids were crying, books, papers, and bags were everywhere, while the library workers were trying to get everyone somewhere but even the small morning group was too much for them. On the other hand I was very stupid, because I just stood there wondering what in the WORLD was going on. Finally, I saw the bright flame of fire that was spreading all across the front of the building, and up the sides of the walls and bookshelves.

"Fire!" Someone yelled, which seemed kind of obious to me. The flow of the crowd suddenly changed from people running away from there I was to running towards me. The fire had now extended to the book returns, where some of the confused members were still rushing to. One of the librarians from the children section ended up tripping on an extra paper on the floor, and slammed right into me, knocking all the wind out of me.

"What do I do?!?" I screamed at Koe as I pulled myself and the librarian to our feet.

"Oh, now you want my help, when you are about to get killed?" She replied snottly.

"Never mind!" I replied as some more people passed me. Looking around me, I found an empty table near the middle of the library and I started to formulate a very outlandish plan normally, but if I was in Anime Japan, my plan might actually work. I ran toward the table I had saw, sometimes falling over people's legs in the process. Finally, I got to the table, and climbed on top of it.

"Calm down!" I tried yelling, but only a few people could hear me over the mess. At that moment, I bumped up the level of insanity my plan had by asking Koe this:

"Can you connect me to the speakers?" I know. I honestly only asked because if she could take me to Japan from my Algebra 1 class in Mesa, Arizona, she could do anything.

"The speakers? I suppose I could, but with all the heat they may not work-"

"Just do it!" I screamed as more people ran passed me to the back of the library.

After about 30 seconds or something, I was not keeping track, I got a reply.

"Got it, master, but I still do not believe this will work, the building is starting to colapse, and there are not any visible exits, so what good will it do?" Koe said to me, but I was just trying stay standing up as the heat waves hit me in the face.

"EVERYONE, SHUP UP!" I yelled into my mic, which was broadcasted very loudly to the speakers in the back of the library.

Now, all you could hear was the crackle of the fire, little kids crying, and some of the books falling.

"Listen to me, if you guys want even a chance of getting out alive, you gotta be calm and listen to what I am going to tell you, Got it?"

Everyone frightfully nodded.

And I placed my plan into action.

Hi! Thanks for getting this far! This chapter I wrote on a mobile device that doesn't have spell check, so please forgive me of spelling and grammar errors. I am not sure how frequently I will be able to be on Wattpad, but I will try to keep my story going so that you guys don't have to wait long for my next chapters. Hopefully in the next chapter or so Avid will meet Rimaru, which I am looking forward to writing. 😉

Thanks for all the support! 💙
