"Where am I?" I say. I am standing on nothing and all I see around me was grey. It kind of felt like it was an endless room. The silence was very unsettling.

"Is anybody there?" I say, kind of desperate. "Hello?"

"Sumimasen, but it seems that there is some interference, causing us to stall. Would you like me to place you back in sleep until we arrive?" I probably would have hit the ceiling given how high I jumped, I was so surprised. The voice came from literally right next to my ear and almost sounded like the Lotus in Warframe just not as mechanical.

"W- wait, what? Who are you? Where are you?" I say spinning around, but I still saw nobody. I really must have gone crazy.

"Gomenesai, but I am on you."

What? there is nothing on me but-

"My headphones. You're in my headphones?!?" I exclaim reaching up to my headphones,

"Hai, If that is what you comprehend me as."

Suddenly, I saw the edges of this place that I was in fading.

"What's going on?" I cry out "And why do you start your sentences with Japanese words?"

"Hmmm, sama, it seems that something has happened. We appear to be back on course. I recommend that we do not freak out when we arrive."

Great advice.

Then, one second I was in that strange place, and the next, I was in Tokyo. As in Tokyo, Japan!

"Woah! No way..." I gawk, and my first thought was that everything was as sharp as if it was in an anime. I walk to the nearest store. A bookstore.

"I'm actually in Japan," I breathe, "Is this a dream?"

Then, I'm staring at my reflection, and somebody else is staring at me. Well, she looks like me, but only if I was an anime character. I raise my hand to brush my hair out of my face, and the girl does the same.

"That is me?"

"Hai. We have arrived, it appears."

"In an anime version of Japan?" I say as I notice that some of the Japanese are starting to stare. My face starts to heat up, and I know that I am blushing.

"Karera wa anata ga jibun to hanashite iru to omotte imasu."

"..."

"Umm, Konnichiwa?" I say tentatively.

Thankfully everyone stopped staring.

But my headphones didn't stop talking.
