"You..." Baekhyun said as a girl walked towards him.

"How are you?" Taeyeon asked smiling.

Baekhyun quickly wiped his eyes and straightens his bangs, acting natural.

"Have you been crying?"

"No, it's just...there was something in my eyes. I was washing it just now to get them out."

Taeyeon looked at Baekhyun, doubting him.

"Maybe it's just dust or something it...burns my eyes.." Baekhyun kept on lying.

Flashback:

Chanyeol and Baekhyun were happily dancing on the dance floor when suddenly Mr. Kwon interrupted their alone time. Mr. Kwon said hurtful things to Baekhyun and dragged Chanyeol out of the dancefloor to one of the rooms for some serious talk. Baekhyunran to the bathroom and cried his eyes out. (sorry if I kindda shortened the flashback hehe)

Back to Present:

"Anyway, it was nice seeing you here. Bye." Baekhyun said as he turned to leave.

"Wait!" Taeyeon called.

As much as Baekhyun wanted to leave, he didn't. He turned around. Taeyeon walked closer to Baekhyun, her eyes staring at him.

"I missed you."

Baekhyun was shocked. He's not sure how to react.

"I'm sorry for what happened last time. I wasn't myself." she continued. [A/N: The marriage thing in the car with Taeyeon]

Taeyeon reached for Baekhyun's hands, holding it tight.

"Can we start again?"

Baekhyun stared at her.

Taeyeon lifted her right hand, gently caressing Baekhyun's right cheek. Baekhyun was confused, he didn't react at all. Then it came to him.

CHANYEOL.

He flinched from the touch and pulled his hand from Taeyeon's grip.

"We're over. Remember?" he said, his voice shaken.

Taeyeon's expression changed, she looked surprised.

"You can't be serious."

"Yes I am." Baekhyun replied

Taeyeon shook her head vigorously, "No, no, no, no, you can't do this to me."

Baekhyun looked away.

"How am I supposed to live without you?" she asked; her voice was desperate. Baekhyun looked at her; she looked so broken and vulnerable.

"I'm sorry."

"You are my life."

"I'm so sorry, jagi..."

"How about the happy times we spent together?" she said suddenly.

Taeyeon looked down.

"You promised me that you will never leave." She added.

"Promises are...meant to be broken."

"It's not fair."

"Jagi..."

"Is it because I cheated...because what I did to you before?" she asked holding back her tears.

"This isn't about you."

"It only happened once, and I already swore to you that it will never happen again.."

"Jagi, this isn't about you." Baekhyun said as he held her hands.

"Yeobo..."

"I know you're a good girl. You deserve someone better."

"No, all I need is you."

"I just...can't be with you anymore."

"Why?"

"I...don't love you anymore."

Taeyeon stared at Baekhyun, her eyes are teary. She pulled her hands from Baekhyun's grip and walked a few steps backwards.

"It's because of him...isn't it?"

Baekhyun avoided her gaze and kept silent. She scoffed.

"I can give you so much more compared to him"

Baekhyun looked down.

"I can offer you a...normal life."

"You don't have to do this. You have a choice."

Baekhyun slowly looked up.

"Don't you know that he could lose everything if he did anything that could taint his family image?"

Baekhyun looked at Taeyeon. His heart aches at the thought.

CHANYEOL could lose everything..

..because of me?

Taeyeon held Baekhyun's hands.

"If you choose me, nobody has to get hurt."

Baekhyun started to think about it rationally. He started to consider the choices.

I don't want to hurt him...

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY BOYFRIEND!" shouted a voice.

Taeyeon and Baekhyun turned to the voice's direction. People started to gather around them. Chanyeol is standing not too far from them. He seems angry.

"CHANYEOL..." Baekhyun said as he pulled his hands away from Taeyeon.

Chanyeol walked towards Baekhyun and quickly intertwined his hand with his.

Taeyeon scoffed at the sight.

"Let's go." Chanyeol said as he pulled Baekhyun away.

"Wait." Taeyeon said, as she held Baekhyun's other hand.

They both stopped.

"What now?" Chanyeol asked

Taeyeon ignored him and looked at Baekhyun.

"Baekhyun, I'm giving you one last chance."

"What are you talking about?" Chanyeol asked, pissed.

"Me or him?" Taeyeon continued.

Baekhyun was shocked by Taeyeon's sudden question. He's confused. He pulled both of his hands away from Taeyeon and Chanyeol.

Chanyeol was surprised. "Baekhyun..."

"Nobody has to get hurt." Taeyeon said.

Baekhyun looked down, tears filing his eyes.

"This is crazy." Chanyeol said.

"Will you shut up for one second?!" Taeyeon said to Chanyeol.

Chanyeol glared at her.

"Is it me or him?" Taeyeon repeated her question.

Baekhyun finally looked up. His face confused. "I...I..."
