[5] M-My Own Guest?!

Ryuuki's View - Next Day

I sat at my desk, scribbling away and getting all the notes that the teacher had written on the board. He was going over some English punctuation stuff that we would be tested over in a dew days. I'm not too great at English itself nor the punctuation, so this would be a great help.

"Alright, class. Your test over this chapter will be in two days. Make sure to study." They stated, sighing as some of the students were chatting away and ignoring all he had to say.

The bell rang, signalling that class was over to all. The teacher sighed. "Class is dismissed."

I shut my notebook and put my stuff away in my bookbag. I smiled and jumped out of my seat, ready for a new day at the Host Club. I was really going to enjoy this. Mother and father actually ushered me out of the house this morning, so that I would 'get to have more time' with my friends in the Host Club. That made me wonder if they were my friends now. Perhaps I would have to talk to them a bit more before considering them anything, right?

"Ryuuki?"

I blinked and looked up at Haruhi. "Huh?"

She smiled, "It's time for us to head to the Host Club." She said.

I laughed. "You're right! Sorry for taking long. I dozed off a bit." I admitted.

She shook her head. "It's fine. I honestly don't mind heading to the club a little late. They're going to make us work and I prefer waste some time." She stated.

Haruhi and I walked down the halls, making our way down to the Host Club's room. The entire time we were walking there, I couldn't help but think of how Haruhi was a girl and not a boy. I was still pretty shocked by my discovery of it along with Tamaki yesterday. I admit that  was a bit slow to not notice sooner, but I guess I was pretty set that Haruhi was a boy by her looks and all. She even acted like one. I sighed and shook my head. Too bad she wasn't a guy. I would have totally made a move on her. Pouting, I glanced over at Haruhi as she smiled at me and gestured towards the Host Club's door.

I walked up to the door and gave it a push. As soon as the door opened, bright rays of light blinded us, and sounds of birds chirping reached our ears. I blinked a few times to regain my vision. My eyes examined the room in shock and in awe. The entire room was set up in this sort of tropical like theme. A smile made its way to my face.

"Wow..." I gasped in awe.

"Is this really the Host Club's room?" Haruhi asked, doubt laced in her words.

I nodded. "The room number is the one we entered yesterday. I think they decided to decorate the room or something." I stated, smiling widely as I stepped into the room.

The twins made their way over to us both, giving us a rather bland look. "You two are both late." They chorused.

I frowned and scratched the back of my neck sheepishly. "Sorry, I took too long packing up my stuff back in class." I said.

They sighed. "Well, you two need to get into costume. Now that you two are hosts, you two will have to participate in the clubs activities like such!" They exclaimed, gesturing to the room and how they were dressed. "So, get dressed! Your outfits are in the dressing rooms!"

As they ushered me away, I couldn't help but be overly excited for this. I entered the changing room and noticed a blue and white kimono on a hanger. I grinned. It looked really nice. I loved it. Seems like Hikaru and Kaoru have good taste. Well, if they picked the kimono out, that is. I stripped of my school uniform and placed it on the floor. I grabbed the kimono and put it on, admiring the nice color and feel it had to it. Once it was on, I shook my arms a bit, liking how the huge sleeves felt.

"Are you done yet?"

"We don't have all day."

I shook my head at the twins. I picked up my school clothes and moved the curtain out the way, "Yes, I'm done. You guys are so impatient." I muttered out, sticking my tongue out at them.

Hikaru, Kaoru, and Haruhi's eyes widened as I stepped out of the changing room. I raised an eyebrow at them in confusion. They just stared at me.

"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked them. No one answered. Hikaru gulped and looked away, Kaoru shook his head, and Haruhi smiled. "Haru?"

Haruhi sighed. "You look great, Ryuuki. I think these two over here agree with me as well." She said, pointing her thumb over at the.

I smiled widely, a blush making its way to my face. If what she said was true, then I sure was happy. "Why didn't you guys just say so? There's no need to be shy now." I laughed it off.

Hikaru cleared his throat, "Well t-then, I think it's about time for Kaoru and I to get back to our guests, isn't it?" He stated, nudging his brother.

"A-Ah, yes! You guys should head to Tamaki or Kyoya so you can get your table and guests!" Kaoru exclaimed just as he was dragged away by his brother.

"Alright?" I mused, tilting my head to the side in confusion. I know the twins seemed like an odd pair, but I didn't think that they were actually odd. I laughed. Oh well?

"Let's go look for Tamaki and Kyoya. One of them can help us start." She said.

Nodding, I followed Haruhi in our search for Tamaki and Kyoya. When we found them, they told us where we would be serving our guest for today. I was sent somewhere near Honey-senpai and Mori. Mori and Honey-senpai were really cute together. Their act was similar to that of an older brother being very kind to their younger sibling. It makes all their guests coo and awe at how adorable it was. I admit I smiled like an idiot and maybe blushed a bit too while watching them. What could I say? Two boys being generously kind to each other? Who wouldn't blush at that! I shook my head with a wide smile.

"H-Hello?"

I turned around and looked up at the girl who seemed to be speaking to me. "Yes?" I asked her.

"Are you Ryuu-kun?" She asked shyly, smiling down at me and twiddling her fingers nervously.

I nodded, "Yes, why?"

She smiled even wider and giggled lowly. "I'm a guest of yours."

My eyes widened ever so slowly. A smile made it's way to my face and I stood up and made my way over to her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know! Sit, sit." I ushered her to a seat and smiled like an idiot.

I was more than excited to be having my very own guest. This was going to be a blast. It just sucks how all the guests tend to be females rather than having a diversity of both males and females. I couldn't really blame any guys for not making their way down to the Host Club. It was full of guys entertaining girls...

But man, my very own guest... This was going to be fun!
