[1] Abandoned Music Room
Ryuuki's View
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep-!
I groaned loudly at the sound of my alarm clock going off. It was a sound I hated hearing in the morning, but I guess it was something that kept me sane. I snapped my eyes open with a yawn and I smiled as soon as I spotted my alarm clock was now silent and calm. Finally the little devil was off.
Grumbling in annoyance, I sat up with my eyes half lidded. 'Why in the world am I up so early again?' I asked myself with a tilt of my head. 'If I remember correctly, mother and father said I would start attending a new top-notch school. Something Ouran I believe...' With those thoughts to start my day, I stood up and began my daily routine I did every day. It consisted of brushing my teeth, combing my hair, and changing into my new school uniform. My uniform wasn't all that great in my opinion. It consisted of a light blue blazer, a dark blue tie, and black dress pants.
Right when I was finished getting ready, my parents shouted for me to come downstairs.
"Ryuuki! We have to get going, you'll be late if we don't leave now!"
My eyes widened. 'Did I take long to get ready?' To confirm my suspicions, I looked over at my clock. Just as I suspected, I took way longer than I usually would when it came to getting ready in the morning.
"Ah! I'm coming!" I shouted, quickly grabbing my things and speeding my out of my room and down the stairs.
Mother was at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me with father by her side. Father shook his head at me and waved his hand at me. I grinned sheepishly and walked over to him.
"Ryuuki, you really need to learn how to tie-a-tie by now. I can't be helping you every morning." He muttered, while reaching over at my tie and fixing it.
I scratched the back of my head. "I will learn how to someday, father. You know that I'm not that quick to learn new things to me." I muttered out.
"I know that. I'm just telling you now for future purposes." He said.
Mother rolled her eyes and she shoved him to the side playfully. "Lay off of Ryuuki, hun. You know that he's never had to tie-a-tie before till now. He'll become a pro at it one day just like you are now." She mused, smiling at him.
I gagged and shoved past them both. "Shouldn't you guys be taking me to this school?" I stated, watching then laugh nervously and walk towards the door.
"Sorry, sorry. I just can't help but stare at your mother's beautiful smile." Father said.
Mother blushed and sped her way out the door, "Oh shush it, you!" She said.
Father laughed and made his way out the door as well. I shook my head and smiled at how comfortable my parents were around each other to this day. They could be playful and serious at the same time. I made my way over to the door and locked it before shutting it behind me. Making my way to the car, I took a quick glance back at our house-- new house. It was weird suddenly being in a new house and having to go to a whole new school as well. I really couldn't complain, though. I guess something new every once in a while made things all more interesting.
Getting into the car, mother told the driver to head to a school called Ouran. I raised an eyebrow in interest. A lot of thoughts were running throughout my head about this new school. I was really curious of how it looks, how big it is, and about the students there. I'm really hoping that the students there are nice and all. At my old school, the one we moved away from, the kids there were huge assholes. For a top-notch school, it was full of delinquents and just chaotic kids. I'm kind of glad that I'm away from that. Though, moving away from that school meant that I had to lose contact with the friends I had there.
Sighing, I shrugged my shoulders at the thought. They weren't even friends, really. They just used me for my money and superiority in the school. I smiled lightly. Maybe I'll be able to make new and better friends here at Ouran.
The car stopped abruptly. I blinked and looked out the window.
"We have arrived."
Mother and father both looked back at me from their seats in front of me. They had smiles on their faces.
"Well, this is your new school, sweetheart." Mother said. "Make sure to leave a good impression and make some friends!"
"Behave." Father added.
I nodded, "Understood." I said.
"Good!" They both mused together.
"Now go and have fun. Give us a call when you want us to head for you. Don't be afraid to find a club or something!" Mother said, smiling widely.
"I'll try my best." I chuckled.
"Now go!"
I opened the door and stepped out of the car. Looking up at the building itself, I sweat dropped at the color. It was a bright pink. Almost like a pastel or cotton candy color. I shook my head and smiled. It wasn't that bad of a color, I'm just surprised a top-notch school like this used that color. Maybe it was to stand out from all the other schools out here? I shrugged. Who knows?
I walked down the long walkway that led to the schools main entrance. As I did so, I noticed just how many students there were outside talking and just hanging out. So far the school seemed to be really bright and just...huge.
I entered the school, simply awed by all the decorations that lined the halls and walls. This school really went all out with its looks. I took the chance to ask someone where the office of the schools principal was so I could see where my homeroom was. After someone led me to the principal's office, I thanked them and talked to the principal. I was told my room would be 1-A.
I quickly found the room. I knocked on the door and then entered. The teacher and students already in there immediately placed their gazes on me.
The teacher smiled at me, "You must be the second new student, yes?" They asked.
I took note that they said second and I nodded, "Yes."
The bell rang and a number of students rushed into the room, seating themselves right away. The teacher glanced at them and shook their head.
"Well, before I seat you, would you please introduce yourself?" They politely asked.
I faced the class and smiled. "Hello, my name is Kawasaki Ryuuki. I'm 16 years old and I moved here because my parents decided they wanted to live somewhere else. It's nice to meet you all." I stated, bowing quickly.
I noticed that some of the girls were staring me down. I gulped, growing uncomfortable under their eyes. I then took the chance to look at the guys. They were staring at me rather blandly. It seems like they had no interest in him. I sighed. I guess it was better than then staring at me like I was a fresh piece of meat.
The teacher cleared their throat. "You may seat yourself in front of Haruhi. Haruhi, would you please raise your hand."
Haruhi raised his hand. He had messy brown hair, a weird looking brown uniform, and big glasses. I made my way over and sat down in front of him. I turned around and stuck my hand out.
"Ryuuki." I said.
Haruhi blinked and stared at me in shock, "Uh, Haruhi." He said.
Grinning, I shook his hand. "Hopefully we can get to know each other." I mused. I spun around in my seat and faced forward. Class started and all I could think about was how I was going to make friends or even find a club to join. I sighed and placed my head down. I'm really hoping this doesn't turn out to be a mistake.
×*×*×
Class ended and everyone rushed out the doors. I yawned and started packing my stuff up. I noticed that Haruhi and I were the only ones left in the classroom. Maybe this is my chance! Haruhi might know some clubs that the school has.
I took a deep breath, "Hey, ugh, Haruhi?" I said.
He looked up at me, "Y-Yeah?" He asked.
"I was wondering if you knew about any clubs that the school had that I could maybe join. I'm sorry if this is a bother, I just thought you'd be able to help me out seeing as you're a student here." I explained, scratching my cheek in embarrassment for having to ask.
Haruhi laughed, "I'm sorry, I can't help you there." He apologized.
I frowned and hung my head low, "Ah, thanks anyways." I muttered.
"I'm actually new here too." He said.
My eyes widened. I thought back to when the teacher said second new student.
I pointed at him, "So you're the other new student I hear the teacher mention?" I asked.
He nodded. I laughed. "I'm sorry. I didn't know that."
He shook his head, "It's okay. If you want, I was actually about to look for a quiet place to study. You can tag along. Maybe we'll pass by some clubs that you'll find interest in. I'm not sure if we will though." He offered.
"Sounds good to me, Haruhi-kun." I mused. Haruhi's eyes widened. I smirked and winked at him, "You'll get used to it at some point."
Haruhi and I walked down the corridors of the school and searched for a nice and quiet place where he could study. Though we never really passed by any clubrooms that seemed to peak my interest in the slightest. There was an art club, cooling club, and photo club. None of that was my thing. I sighed.
"An abandoned music room..." Haruhi muttered.
I blinked, "What?" I looked over at Haruhi. He was staring up at sign. It read 'Music Room 3'.
"It's abandoned?" I asked him. He nodded at me. "Oh, then why don't you use this as a room to study in. I mean, if it's abandoned there should be no problem with it. Plus, it has to be quiet in there. It's exactly what you need."
Haruhi seemed to be thinking about it. "Well, you are right... This is what I was looking for. Guess it won't hurt." He concluded.
"Mind if I stay and tag along once more?" I asked.
"Go ahead." Haruhi said, pressing his hands on the door and giving it a shove. I walked over and helped him, seeing as he seemed to struggle a bit.
As soon as we got the door open, a bright light blinded us. I squinted and covered my eyes partially. I noticed rose petals falling. I was so confused and utterly lost. What was happening? Wasn't this music room supposed to be abandoned?
"Welcome!" A chorus of voices exclaimed from inside the room.
Once the light dimmed down, I opened my eyes fully. My eyes wandered to a group of guys standing near each other. What in the hell...
"H-Host Club?" Haruhi muttered out.
I frowned. "Host Club? What's that?" I asked, pure and utter confusion laced in my voice.
