Author's POV

After a few hours.

Namjoon had somewhat calmed down the men at dire and the others had also almost completed their assigned work. But, on the down side, it was almost midnight. They had decided to call it a day and had assembled, again, on the dining table, eating in silence.

"Hyung." Yoongi whispered such that only jin, who was siting besides him, could hear. "I don't feel like eating." He said. Jin frowned in response. "Why? Do you feel sick?" He asked. Yoongi just shook his head, staring at the food with a disgusted expression that jin couldn't read. "Ok then. Go and rest." Jin said. Yoongi got up gladly and made his way inside his room.

The room again fell silent, except for the dull sound of utensils and chewing. After dinner, all of them quietly went to bed. Hoseok was, obviously clouding all their minds.

To them, it was really wierd and surprising at the same time. The seven of them led their mafia as a group. Not once did anyone of them think of the other as a mere co-worker. They were brothers, maybe even more than that. They really were close.

This, may or may not have given other competitors a chance to leech into their gang. All it would take for someone to break them would be anyone of them. Although together, they were unbeatable.

Maybe someone took advantage of this...

The next day

All of them assembled in the living room at six in the morning, looking half dead. Yoongi and jimin spent the whole night crying together while the others just couldn't sleep. They all knew it would be futile to tell each other to rest, so they just let it slip and pretended to not notice.

After freshing up a bit, they made their way to the Bangtan headquarters and went straight to finish their work from tommorow. Namjoon also joined jin and kook. They decided to meet up before lunch to share their reports.

Yoongi's POV

The only reason I was able to focus on the work in hand was that I needed to find hobi as soon as possible. I hadn't eaten anything since last afternoon and neither did I sleep properly. So, I was probably looking like a zombie. But still, just the thought of finding hobi always powering me to work.

I was going through the files that taehyung sent me, and I was almost through everything when I noticed a familiar face.

I couldn't exactly put a finger on who it was, so I decided to ignore it continue with the rest of the files. But still, something about that man was giving me a bad vibe.

Author's POV

Time skip to afternoon

The members were gathered in the conference room with a stack of papers and files in front of them. "Jin hyung, you can start." Namjoon said, motioning for the older to present what ever he found.

Jin cleared his throat before starting.

"We haven't found anyone in our contact with whome we have any kind of faulty relations or the other way around. But, we did find something regarding the accounting section. There has been a person who has been stealing from us. It wasn't anything big and taehyung said it was probably a small hacker and our team has been looking into it. Apart from that, we have nothing."

Jin finished and sat down. And then, jimin began.

"We've not found anyone suspicious. There's literally nothing to report. Everyone who visited any of our buildings was either completely harmless, or was an ally. But, I did notice a patern that I thought I should report. Since the past few days, there has been a worker from the mansion who leaves early and comes back late. But, she seems harmless, from all the data we have about him..."

Jimin ended. Namjoon, sitting on the head of the table, frowned deeply. This was really confusing. He lifted his gaze towards his members. All of them were deep into their own thoughts. They didn't have any solid clues. The only clues they did have didn't make any sense.

"Guys." He said, catching everyone's attention. "Let's take a step back and gather more information-" he was saying, before getting interrupted by jimin.

"Hyung, hobi hyung is missing. We have no idea where he went! And GD too! Both of them could've died for all we know! How the hell can we rest?!"

"Hobi is alive. He's just waiting for us to come and save him. That's what all of us do everytime, right?" Jin intervened, trying to lighten a mood a bit. Although the odds were really low, there still was a chance.

"Jimin is right, hyung" yoongi mumbled.

Jungkook shook his head. "We won't get anywhere like this. No one is on the same page! Namjoon hyung is right. Just look at yourselves. How do we expect to find hoseok hyung when all of us look half dead?" He said.

"Should've gone solo." Taehyung said.

"Tae!" The youngest said in a warning tone as the second youngest shrugged a shoulder.

"That's it. Everyone's dismissed." Namjoon announced and slumped back on his chair. Everyone else walked out of the conference room, and left for their own offices. Everyone, except yoongi.

As soon as he left the conference room, he got a call from his mother, calling him back to her room, saying that it was an emergency. Yoongi, being emotionally and mentally drained, as well as concerned for his mum, quickly went to her room.

At the mansion

"Well that was fast." Mrs Min says from the sofa as she watches her son enter her own office. "I was worried ma. Why did you call me so urgently?" Yoongi asks, frowning at her calm tone.

The lady leaned back into her chair and folded her arms over her chest. "Wanna meet hoseok?" She asks, a faint smirk plastering on her face.
